I recently had my air conditioner repaired by Airco, the repairman was Mario Rodriguez. He was skilled and professional. Very pleasant person, and compotent. Would recommend him to anyone!

My air conditioner stopped cooling, so I contacted Airco for assistance. They promptly sent a technician the following day. The symptoms reported were that both the compressor and air blower were functioning, but there was no cold air coming out.

Afterwards, I did some research online and discovered that the coil had frozen. When the technician arrived, he checked the freeze agent pressure and found it to be normal. Surprisingly, his recommendation was to continue running the AC on 'cool' and suggested that I order a new unit.

I was skeptical of his advice to keep running the frozen AC on 'cool' as it didn't seem right. Instead, I knew that defrosting the coil was necessary. His insistence on installing a new system made me lose trust in his suggestions, and I decided not to proceed with his recommendation.

I called Airco late at night as my AC had stopped working. Airco was the ONLY company to offer emergency service the same day. Shortly after calling, the HVAC technician Tony called me directly, and it was apparent he was super knowledgeable on ACs and in particular my relatively complicated Daikin Fit Inverter system. Tony gave me great real-time suggestions, all of which were great tips but didn't solve the problem.

Work on this type of equipment required Tony to get management approval, and he assured me he'd call me back first thing in the morning. I generally don't have good luck with people following up, but he called and texted me back multiple times and said he'd come by. Fortunately, by then another contractor was able to come out, but I ran what they found by Tony and he said it was a good plan and should work, and fortunately my AC works.

I leave 5-stars because Airco is the ONLY company that got a tech to talk to me at 9pm, and Tony himself was so kind and genuinely empathetic. He followed up consistently and went out of his way to give me advice. You don't see that often in companies or individuals.

As a result, Airco will be one of my first calls, and I really hope I get Tony every time!

Wow!
We called late morning and by late afternoon Jon, our service tech was calling to tell us he was on his way. The office worked to get us squeezed in on a Friday afternoon BEFORE a holiday weekend and we could have been in real trouble. Thank you office team!

The tech was great. We asked about wearing a mask if he needed to come in and he was totally gracious and understanding. But, he didn't even need to come in, lol! Jon was able to diagnose everything from outside, it was the capacitor. He replaced it, but he also gave me some instruction about cleaning the fins (which didn't look blocked by a layer of stuff, but he explained that when they get coated with dust, which they very much are, it hampers the cooling).

I asked for an estimate to replace it and the price was very competitive. There was no weird pressure to close on a sale there on the spot (like some places do). And the cost of the repair today can get credited to the cost of the new unit for two weeks.

Finally, awesome communication. Jon called us, not the office, and that makes things easier. Our condo is super hard to find, and I was able to get him in through the shortcut because he was on the phone, not a dispatcher.

Wes is Awesome! His industry expertise and transparency with respects to the business of the HVAC industry is impressive. Did you google the address of the other HVAC companies? Do they even have a physical office? Airco has over 500 employees and they will definitely be around when you "may" need to utilize the 10-year manufacturer's warranty. Who you hire is vital as the installation process is the most critical indicator for future pricey service calls. Did you know that the warranty runs through the installation company? What if they aren't around? Airco also offers a 1-year money back guarantee. That alone exudes the confidence and skill level that Airco provides that other companies would never touch. They may not be the "cheapest", but there is a cost for the "best value"...and sleeping well at night.

My AC unexpectedly stop working and I tried to troubleshoot myself but to no solution. Couple of my neighbors recommended Airco and specifically Junior and Mario so I was able to get an appointment for next day scheduled. Junior and Mario came out to my house and within minutes was able to identify the issue and laid to me what the solution is and the next steps they are going to take. They were professional, methodical and gave tips and tricks for future if such issues were to come up.
I cannot recommend Junior and Mario for any of your home HVAC issues; especially on a brutal summer Texas day when you need your AC to work, consider these guys as superheroes that will save the day for you and you family. I'm an AirCo client for life.
