Look. When your AC system goes down in Texas at the beginning of the summer season you know that spells trouble. Also, AC units are no joke expensive so you want to go with a company you can trust. A significant portion of why I chose Airco was based on the strength of their reviews -- and I'm glad I did.

Airco was one of a few vendors I reached out to and ultimately decided to go with.

Started with Tony. He's a straight shooter and let me know what I needed. Was upfront about the different models pros and cons and what he would buy for himself.

Also perspective on the different brands.

The short wait to get an install felt like forever but when the day came, the install team was great as well. Real professionals. Packed in. Packed out. Left everything better than they found it.

(And two new working AC units to boot).

We have some minor balancing issues but I feel assured that those will be fixed in the next few days.

We are frosty cool now, thanks to AirCo.

We bought a 45 year old townhome that had only had cosmetic updates during its life. We decided to have an Austin Energy audit for all things energy related and called 4 HVAC companies to bid on overseeing the process. Two of them were obvious ripoffs, wanting to replace our perfectly fine metal ductwork with the flexible crap builders use today and charge us breathtaking amounts for the privilege. One didn't want to replace the ducts but simply charge us breathtaking amounts for everything else. Mind you, these were all respected, heavily advertised Austin HVAC companies. What a relief it was to find Stuart at Airco who gave us an honest commonsense proposal at half the price of any of the others. The job, including duct sealing, replacing bathroom and kitchen vent ductwork, correcting previous a/c installation issues, replacing attic insulation, and coordinating with Austin Energy for inspections and rebate application was done well, professionally, and with great patience, which was needed because of horrifying issues with the general contractor doing the rest of our renovation. Literally, this was the only good experience in a long, trying renovation process. Thank you, Stuart and Airco.

I was very pleased with his knowledge of the system and his approach in making sure everything was working correctly. He was patient with my questions and was helpful in explaining how to optimize the performance of the ac unit. I was able to use their coupon I received for the checkup so the cost was well worth it!
