Ray S.They installed 2 Humidifiers in our house, over 7k. They forgot to hook up the drain hoses on one of the units that allowed water damage, then charged $175 to come back and hook up the hose they did not connect the first time.
Manager will not call us back. Would highly avoid.
First the good. The people a friendly and reasonably responsive. But the reason I am giving them a 2 is because of the costs. I have an older home and had Airco replace the central heating and a/c units. I purchased a top of the line Lenox for $16,000. In the first 5 years I've had to have them out multiple times. I signed up for the maintenance plan at $245/year. I was told that if I did that the parts and labor are covered under warranty. I still have to pay $70 for each trip even if it is covered by warranty. If it's not warranty then it $199 plus. Most recently they're having to replace the cooling coil because of a leak. The part is covered under warranty, however, I have to pay nearly $1000 for the Freon. I'm not sure if Lenox has just gone down hill or what. But I definitely do not recommend getting one. Save your money and get a Carrier.
Airco completely tore up our bathroom and left us to fend for ourselves to get mold and tile work completed. I do not recommend anyone use this company. I'm surprised they're still in business.
John B.Called out for air conditioning drainage issue. Got someone to show up that day...thought this is going great so far.
He shows up and takes forever to come up with a plan but finally gets started doing something. Cleans out the drain so we can get off the water hose to the driveway solution.
He puts us all back together and then states we now have a bad control panel! Umm...you came for drain issue not an actual AC problem!!! $713 control panel WTF??? Shady shady shady. He says he has to find one then comes in 10 minutes later ""I have one on my truck"" WOW
Let them do what he had to do cause we have a home warranty, but these guys are SHADY as F@ck be aware!!!
Oh the drain is leaking water again now 4 days later...geez
Thomas Mathews H.We needed a replacement water heater immediately. AirCo reps quickly and professionally led us through all of the options.
Installation was done quickly, and all work was done to our satisfaction. They even came back to assist us with our new system free of charge.
We will be switching all of our future needs to services AirCo provides.
Thank you AirCo!
Airco tried to repair my air conditioning unit across three different visits to my house and at a cost of nearly $1,200. I was still left with no A/C for a week. Another company came out and correctly fixed it in an hour for $300. Airco also charged me almost $200/piece for fuses that evidently cost $15. The other company also had to correct some parts that were incorrectly installed. I can't see that they're worth being hired by anyone with A/C problems.
I'll pass on elaborating. Thank you anyway. Ask them about their experience in Garland Texas.
Set an appointment to fix leak a in my drain pipe. Ashli came out and charged me 99.00 to tell me what I already knew and then quotes me a price to repair which was outrageous high (found it done for 1/2 there quote) and then tells me cant repair it until 2 days later. The only entity worse than Arico is the government.
Our toilet drain line had a blockage in it and my wife called Airco to come snake the line. I should have done it myself but didn't have the time to do it due to working long hours. Some tech named Charlie ""supposedly"" snaked the sewer line 65 feet, which is total b.s. Blockage was between the bathtub and the toilet. The snake is run through the vent pipe up on the roof and that is about 15 feet to get to the toilet drain. There was mud coming up in the bathtub which means there is a break in the old cast iron pipe and dirt is coming in the sewer line. The tech said there wasn't mud in the tub. Liar, I have pictures. He charged us $400 for the service and replacing the wax ring under the toilet. Less than a week went by and the toilet was blocked again. I called several people from Airco and finally got another tech to come out. I met him at my house ame after a little investigation he agreed with my findings ( you can't b.s. me on stuff like this, I am a commercial/residential remodeler plus I do maintenance on 22 houses as well. I have repaired many sewer lines) I asked him why the tech didn't run a sewer camera, which would let you know that the blockage had been removed. He said that would be an additional $ 400 and he would have to get one from the other techs since they have to share the camera! Cameras are $400 to buy from Amazon! There should be one on every truck. I had him leave because he wanted to charge me again for a job that wasn't done right to begin with.I wasn't going to pay more money to these thieving bastards. I fixed the line myself and haven't had any issues since! These service guys prey on women and the elderly because they can bs them out their pocketbooks. Stay away from these crooks!!!
Scheduled an appointment for a Monday on a Friday, they came out to assess on Monday and scheduled us for repairs on Thursday. We called at least 3 times on Thursday (3:30, 6:15, and 8:15) to confirm that we were still on the schedule and we're told yes each time. We finally got a call from a technician at 8:45 to let us know that there'd been a mix-up on their end and they would not be there that night and made minimal effort to come out the next day.
The kicker is that we're pregnant, our due date IS TOMORROW. No, we don't want to wait until next week when we have a newborn in the house, or have to continuously reschedule around being in labor.
