I met Joe Carnevale last winter when I intended to install a geothermal heat pump system. Joe recommended against it telling that an air to air had almost equal efficiency for half the cost. I spent the next few months analyzing cost, basement obstructions of pipes, pumps plus the heat pump. It took awhile. By spring I was ready to move forward with an air to air and got quotes from others including a local Mitsubishi Hyper Heat installer. Last, it was Joe's turn to come back and provide a quote.

Joe is a true PRO! I liked his attitude almost as much as I liked his quote, almost $10K lower than a prior company for the same Mitsubishi equipment. Joe even corroborated my thermal heat loss analysis with his Manual J! Very impressed!

Joe's team started my installation near the end of June with Steve Duarte as team leader. Those guys worked in my attic during 90+ degrees without even taking breaks! What a great professional job they did. I highly recommend Airco! I also have a roof top solar system so I expect to see my heating bills change from about $4.5K for oil to zero!

Joe and the team did a great job installing our central ac. They were thorough and professional from the start, gave a fair quote and completed everything when they said they would. My wife and I both work from home and the workers were conscientious to keep things clean and not make any unnecessary noise. I received quotes from 2 other high rated companies on Yelp (one who charged me $200 for a ""consultation""!) and didn't feel comfortable with either one of them.

I am someone who thoroughly researches everything. That being said, I spent two years looking for a company that I could trust to install the right heating system for my home. I have radiant heat and wanted to make sure that I hired an honest and knowledgeable contractor.
I met with companies that sent salesman out who knew nothing about my system; companies who tried to convince me to put baseboard heaters in for $55,000 and companies who came out but never produced a plan with an estimate. And then, of course, there were contractors who set up appointments with me and never showed!
Then I met with Joe, one of principals of Airco. He was honest and patiently took the time to answer all my questions. I knew immediately that he was not going to try to sell me a product that wasn't right for my home. I asked to meet with his partner, Steve, who would be doing the install. Steve was amazing! He spent days at my house making sure everything was working perfectly. After the install was completed I had a few minor problems and Steve came right out. If I called with questions, Steve was there to answer them. Working with Steve was truly a pleasure!
My next project with Airco will be to install a new central air system. I am thrilled that I found a company that I can say I trust and that I would highly recommend. I look forward to doing business with them again!

I whole heartedly recommend Airco! They recently installed a Fujitsu mini-split heat pump / air conditioning system in my home. Their team was experienced, skillful, friendly and professional throughout the duration of this job, from Joe's first visit to my home to discuss air conditioning options to Derek and Cam's final touches on the duct system. I had complete confidence in them, as well as in Steve, Danny, Frank and Patrick. Additionally, Airco's connections to MassSave and Commerce Bank meant financing and payment options to suit my budget. No more hauling loud and heavy window a.c. units up from the basement. Instead, I am enjoying consistent cooling throughout my home with no noise whatsoever. I am a very happy customer!

This company overcharged me for my unit, did a poor job with installation, and did not honor the warranty. Every time I called, they asked that I attempt to fix the newly installed unit myself. When they did finally come out (after multiple texts and emails), they realized they forgot to install a component that they charged me $800 for. Eventually, I had to get another company to service my unit. Buyer beware!

Company installed a Fujitsu mini-split heat pump system -- 3 interior units and one outside unit. From start to finish this was a positive experience. Joe was quite helpful in explaining the system, the costs, possible rebates and other financial assistance. Great assistance with necessary paperwork. Very prompt in responding to questions and concerns. Work was started on day promised. Work crew efficient and polite- job finished on time - clean up was excellent. System working well and was a godsend for the hot weather we experienced. I'm looking forward to using it in the winter to supplement my main heating system and hopefully making my oil bills lower. .

I am not a paid reviewer. I was a real customer. Airco was professional from start to finish. Joe comes in, evaluates the job, is upfront about cost and options, and makes the paperwork process clear and straightforward. Each sub contractor, plumber, electrician communicates well, is thorough, clean and flexible. The plumber was particularly helpful and bent over backwards to spend extra time. The electrician made sure we understood how to work the thermostat. The ductwork people were very clean, vacuuming when finished and the final job that they did was terrific. Mine wasn't an easy job and I could see the handiwork as being top notch. I did find the job manager to lack a little bit of interpersonal skills, and might have communicated a little better about when he as going to finish. This is the only reason that I didn't give five stars, but this was a very small price to pay for a really good HVAC company who I would highly recommend.

I don't know how their services are and as such I'm not going to be a jerk and hurt your ratings, but I know one particular driver could work on his interpersonal skills. A little piece of advice, if you are driving a vehicle with your company plastered all over it you probably shouldn't flip people the bird. Just sayin. Hope this helps. (I changed lanes in front of him, but there was plenty of room. Regardless, you're representing a business. Act like a professional)

I was really happy with the work we did with AirCo (new oil furnace/heat pump retrofit). They were responsive when I was looking around, provided a fair quote and completed the work on time as scheduled and we are really happy with the result.
