This company lied to us that we needed all of these parts replaced to solve a high humidity issue in our home. $2k later and not only is nothing fixed, it's WORSE! I'm positive that they broke our system. Temperature is all over the place and never matches the setting. I should have known better, my house is only 5 years old. I should have read the other reviews before letting them work on my AC.

If I could rate lower I would! Horrible communication; rescheduled appointment cause they overbooked, quoted one price on phone, then technician tells me another price 4x original quote, and says he'd be done in 20 mins! $250 for 20 mins? Called their billing department to get explanation of what services include and lady could not tell me. And she's in billing! Not a great experience.

On Dec 6, 2023 I purchased and paid cash for a new HVAC unit and complete duct work. Within a week the unit was replace due to a "mechanical defect". The 2nd unit also did not work correctly and several people came through my house on different dates to figure out the issue which was never resolved. I had another HVAC company diagnose the issues. They found damaged wiring, a leak in the valve, no refrigerant in the system, and unknown damage to the compressor due to no refrigerant. AirCo denied these were the issues but failed to give a reasonable explanation for the unit not to work properly. During this time I received 2 letters from a bank denying a home improvement loan of which I never applied for because I paid cash. After a lot of finger pointing David, the salesperson, finally admitted he made the application unknowingly to me and without my approval. I requested, which then turned into demands, that AirCo remove the system and reimburse me in full. After more people came tromping through my house, which at this point was an invasion of privacy, AirCo agreed to remove the system and reimburse me in full. While removing the system they dropped the unit in my attic, above my office, so hard I almost ducked under my desk, This created a crack in my ceiling, popped nails in my ceiling and wall. After the techs left with the unit and duct work they refused to reimburse me until I signed a release form. This was not our agreement. I sent a demand email and certified letter letting them know I would be filing against them in court for reimbursement, damages, and punitive damages referencing Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) which protects Texas consumers from false, misleading, or deceptive business practices. Exactly one month later I was reimbursed for the unit only, the day before I filed in court, and without AirCo accepting any responsibility.

I made an appt and Airco was scheduled out the next day. I made it clear I had to leave by 100p to pick up my grandson from school, so my 10am appt was fine .. NOT! At 1230pm, when I needed to leave, I sent a msg. Their response, he got held up. A phone call, apology, anything would have been nice. In a world of bad customer service, this could have been so easily avoided and got them good stars instead of bad!!

I wish I would have read the reviews before I started dealing with them. I got duped into signing up for their service plan where they come out twice a year for maintenance. BIG MISTAKE! Every single time they came out, they found something wrong. They trick you into thinking you're getting a 10% discount, but the technicians are trained to get the max out of you so they can get a commission from what they sell.
My units (2) are six years old and the last maintenance check, the tech was here over six hours and probably would have been here longer if I didn't say something to him. We had not been having any issues with the units and he initially said we just needed coolant in one of the units (close to $600). By the time he was done with his "assessment" he said we needed coils and two compressors. They were here six months prior and although we had to pay for a service that was over $1200, if there was a problem with the coils and the compressors, why didn't that tech say something? I have a guttural feeling this last tech was dishonest.
As I stated, before the "maintenance visit" the units were fine. So much so that I started to cancel the visit. I really wish I would have.
Now one of the units is not working, even though it was just fine before the tech came out.
Now, I'm in search of a reputable company that will not take advantage of me. I will definitely read reviews and check with the better business bureau before doing business with any company going forward. I advise everyone to do the same.

Airco was my builder's HVAC contractor of choice. We closed on the house on June 9th. As early as August 10th we had issues with the install of the unit. Furthermore, Tuesday I had to call back as it was taking way too long to cool down the house. Dametris Dillard, call center team lead, handled my call well above my expectations. Listened to my issue and informed my that dispatch would call me later in the day to schedule a service call. However, it was late in the day when I called and she took the time to call me back to let me know dispatcher had left for the day and I I wouldn't be receiving the call until next morning. I had to call them back next afternoon to find out status and Dametris picked up my call again. She apologized for the miscommunication and jumped right on solved the issue. Contacted technician to find out status, informed me technician, Carlos, was running late on previous calls due to complexity of work, but will still come regardless of time. Furthermore, stayed on top of it and even contacted technicians' supervisor, who called me to apologize and assure me Carlos would come to solve our issue. Carlos held truth to promises and did a thorough check of system, explained and handled a few issues he found on the electrical connections from original installation. At this point even with the uncomfortable position with heat temperature of over 105 degrees my family was put through, I was relieved and satisfied with Airco customer service. To my pleasant surprise, Dametris called my next morning to follow up with me and make sure we were all taken care of. I am beyond satisfied with Demetris and Carlos service and support. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Calling for a maintenance calls, it goes straight to a call center where you have to press several buttons before talking to someone. We were able to schedule a maintenance call for the following week. We waited around all day to finally get a text from a technician scheduler to say that he would not be there till after 4:30 and if that was OK, to let them know. We went ahead and said yes, please. We got another text at 7 PM saying that the tech was heading to another emergency and if he could swing by our place after that. We declined and then decided to schedule for the following day. The technician scheduler asked us when we would like to schedule the appointment and we answered with the following day in the am, they said great, they would be there! we again waited around all day until the technician finally texted at 5 PM that he would be there in 30 to 40 minutes. The technician came assessed everything maintenance wise re-taped a duct together, and diagnosed that by taking the readings that that the dual run capacitor needed to be changed out for $427. We agreed and had the work done. We had another company come out to do a second opinion, and after it was supposedly fixed by AIRCO, was still getting the same readings as prior to the repair. So what did they fix and charge us for? AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

Air Co upon our request sent two persons to review our system and provide and estimate of the cost of replacement. The provider name Paul was perhaps the poorest estimator I have ever encounter. He said he was an exclusive Trane installer and as a result they could only use Wells Fargo. However we have spoken to multiple estimates for Trane which have various finance sources. Several times he stated they were a premier dealer and cost would range from 17k to 26k. At one point Paul told my wife to calm down, which is extremely rude, she was not excited, she was not rude she was attempting to obtain information. I would not use this company nor should anyone that believes customers should be treated with respect. Their phone is 817 618 0947 the receptionist was profession however the estimator the person representing the company in person should not ever step in some ones home.

They came out the same day and sent Joel and Felipe. They knew exactly what to do and did an amazing job. They were very professional, courteous and very knowledgeable!!! AirCo is a great fair company and I will be referring them to all my friends!! Very fairly priced!!
