Would give zero if I could. Extremely rude service tech had no idea why he was here even though I had lengthy discussions with their company about replacing our warrantied water heater. Labor took one hour and he tried to charge me for three. One of his ""three"" hours was him having to go drive to get the new water heater. That is not labor, that is their mistake for not bringing it in the first place. Based on the rudeness and the overcharging wouldn't recommend them at all.
UPDATE: after reading your response I can see that you protect your employees and make assumptions about what the customer said and did. When a water heater is within the warranty it should not cost the customer $405. And btw the only reason it was $405 was because he initially was going to charge me $530 (including three hours of labor at $375) I refused to pay that amount because he did not work for three hours. It took him one hour to do the install. So I did have him call your company and I was given a small ""credit"" which brought the price to $405. I was grossly overcharged even with that ""credit"". And now you're telling me you made a $210 profit on the water heater so in addition to the $405 I would say that your company made out very well on this warranty. Additionally it does not take two hours to drive back and forth from my house to Mission Valley. Do you typically charge customers for the driving time? Is that considered labor? Lastly, when he arrived he did not know why he was here and when I explained that the heater needed to be replaced the first words out of his mouth were ""we don't do that"". He was both rude and condescending. I had to explain that it was your company that installed the leaking heater and that it was within the warranty. Do you often send techs to jobs without giving them basic information about the client? Needless to say I wouldn't use your company again nor would I recommend it.

I manage commercial shopping centers in Orange County and LA County, and I've used Air Temperature Specialists to service, repair, and replace my (26) 3, 4, and 5 ton combo heat pump / ac units for over 5 years. They are consistently competitive with their pricing. When I check them against other companies, as I do once every three or four jobs, they are always at or below other estimates. Plus, they are reliable, fast, and consistent. I have replaced 8 large commercial AC units through Air Temperature Specialists, and they always do it well, and on time. Their techs and their dispatchers are kind, respectful, and knowledgeable, with great attitudes. I highly recommend them for residential or commercial use.

I would like to give a huge shout out to Shane Lee, who came to the rescue the other day. Being in property management & having to call a vendor in for an emergency can sometimes be a bit tricky. Timing and customer service is huge to me. Air Temperature provides exceeds my expectations on all levels. Not only when I called to request for a plumber (911 status) the dispatcher was very professional, friendly, & knowledgeable. Dispatcher gave me an ETA of an hour (traffic in my area is insane) but to my surprise when the plumber (Shane Lee) arrived 15-20 minutes sooner I was super excited. I do not like making my residents wait so the promptness, amazing attitude for working late, & presented himself and the company greatly. I spoke with my resident the following day after the work has been completed, my resident is very happy and impressed the plumber (Shane) cleaned up after himself. So when my residents are happy that makes me so happy. I will be calling Air Temperature for all future plumbing and AC needs. (Shane Lee please be available!)

Air temp is a life saver! My AC broke within the first week of me moving into my new home and they were quick to respond. I called everywhere around me and all AC repair men were busy due to it being the middle of the summer and everybody's AC was breaking. I branched out of my city and Air Temp was there to save me. I spoke to a wonderful woman named Angela who was more than happy to help me. She gave me an appointment the very next day! The technician Brandon was kind and explained everything he was doing to me so I could know what to look for in the future. 10/10 would definitely recommend to family/friends and use their services again. :)

This company is amazing! When we had problems with our AC during one of the hottest weeks of the year, another company came out & quoted us $1200-2500 to repair our AC. They were not exactly sure what the issue was. We called Air Temperature Specialists for a second opinion & they came out, tested our equipment & fixed it within the hour for a few hundred dollars. We will never use another AC company again & will definitely use them when it's time to replace our system!

Just had my water heater replaced by Brandon. Great job, exceptional service. Had another company that I won't name at this time, that came out and wanted to sell me a package of goods along with the water heater (descaling unit for an additional $1500 or so, and a new pressure regulator that they said was showing 70 psi). Called Chuck at their business and he was very professional and helpful, scheduling me for the next morning. Brandon installed the water heater with new tubing, checked the pressure regulator, which showed an a recommended 50psi (obviously didn't need replacement) and checked my garbage disposal all for about 1/3 what this other company wanted to charge me. Couldn't be happier and won't hesitate to call them the next time I need work done.

I have also referred them in my business and everyone was pleased. The staff is always courteous & professional on the phone and technician Adam is very knowledgeable, professional and explains the problems very easy to understand.
