I am John Gabrielli, the proud owner of Air Temp Solutions. Growing up, I was immersed in the trades; my father was a plumber, and I assisted him with side jobs during my teenage years. I found a passion for the heating and cooling aspect of the business and naturally gravitated toward it. This passion motivated me to launch my own business, and thus Air Temp Solutions started assisting customers in Middletown and surrounding regions. Beware of deceptive repair practices. I was told I need a new Motherboard & a new motor totaling over $4,000. I googled the parts and they only added up to less than $500. I called Delaware Heating & Air and they said it was the board and that it was covered by warranty. only paid $200 for svc call. Thank God we looked to a second opinion.

I am extremely disappointed in the way that Air Temp Solutions responded to my situation.

John did a great job of assessing and explaining the situation, providing multiple options to resolve it, and implementing the option that I chose. His skill and knowledge were glaringly obvious as he removed the old water heater, re-routed the gas, water, and exhaust lines, and installed the new one. His calm, polite, considerate, demeanor, and competent, confident, professional attitude make him a pleasure to deal with. I would gladly invite him into my home again for any future work and/or consultation. As a plumber -- and as a person -- John has earned my respect. Unfortunately, the company he works for has just lost it.

I had been happy with the level and quality of service Air Temp has provided over the last four years; but my most recent dealings with them have exposed a completely inexcusable lack of integrity

Last week, an Air Temp Technician assured me that my water heater was under warranty, and would either be replaced or repaired, depending on the manufacturer's decision. Yesterday, they changed their mind.

On their recommendation, we had purchased an expensive tankless hot water heater that was supposed to be efficient, reliable and durable. When it failed after only two years of use, Air Temp did very well by us, and replaced the defective unit under warranty. However, now -- just two years later -- the replacement has failed. And this time, Air Temp (after initially promising to take care of it) has refused to replace it even though it's still under the original warranty. I was told that it failed because we have hard water; and that the manufacturer would not approve a second warranty claim because we don't have a water softener, and have not been backflushing the unit regularly. Air Temp offered to replace the water heater for me, but ONLY if I paid them $5000 to install a water softener system first. When I said I couldn't afford that right now, but would be willing to perform regular backflushing now that I know it's required, I was told that's not good enough because they don't want to lose money buying me a replacement unit unless I spend enough on another service to cover that loss.

When I pointed out that Air Temp evaluated our house and plumbing, recommended and installed the tankless unit, has been performing ALL of our HVAC and plumbing maintenance and repair work since that time, saw first-hand what happened to the first unit, installed the second one, has been regularly collecting maintenance contract fees from us, has NEVER offered, recommended, suggested, or even mentioned backflushing, had NEVER previously tested our water or asked if we had hard water, and had consistently and repeatedly told me that there was no other maintenance that we needed to worry about; I was told that it's in the owner's manual, and the homeowner is responsible for making sure the required maintenance takes place -- not the experts who are paid to take care of it, should have checked the water before recommending it, should have checked the water and recommended a water softening system and/or regular backflushing before the initial purchase, at the time of the first install, and especially after the first one failed. No, the professionals who are paid for their skill, knowledge, and experience can't be held responsible for something they didn't bother to warn the homeowner about, because the homeowner is the only one who's supposed to lose money when something goes wrong.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I decided to purchase a new, slightly less expensive, traditional tank-style water heater from them since I couldn't afford to pay for the ridiculously expensive water softening system they wanted to sell me. I was tired, had a lot going on, had been without hot water for several days, and they knew it. At the time, it seemed like a reasonable decision; but now that I have had a chance to process everything and do a little research, I've found that the ""discounted"" price I paid for the new tank-style heater is more than triple the actual cost of the unit -- and that it's significantly oversized for this house, which means, not only was it more expensive than necessary, but I'll also be constantly paying to heat a lot more water than necessary.

Next time something goes wrong, I'll do my homework before calling for help. The Air Temp technicians have always been great to deal with, and have consistently provided excellent service. It's a real shame the company they work for doesn't.

Expensive lesson, but lesson learned.

Unexperienced workers high charges and repeated comebacks for same issues finding something extra wrong every time and getting charged can't keep appointment dates then letting you know that day so it screws your schedule up they don't try to make things right you pretty much just have to eat it and deal with it. They did a replacement of a gas boiler heating system and cost me $20,400 does that sound high to anybody or is it just me

This place is a horrible. I received an estimate & it was much higher than others. My elderly parents received a heating/ac system from them & have had nothing but problems. They paid extra for a service contract that doesn't cover anything. Their system is less than 7 years old & have issues every summer. Its obviously not quality equipment they're installing. Theyre still waiting almost 2 days later for someone to call & come out. Theyre elderly!!! They took their money & leave them hanging. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone.

Our service request for a HVAC unit installed in our furnace for an asthmatic individual became a $5,300 shouting nightmare when they installed the wrong unit. A short-shifted selling sequence did not show what they were invoicing and I didn't know they were installing a MERV 10 cheap filter instead of the MERV 19 which is HVAC. Never again with these people or any referrals.

We have air temp for a couple of years now. And this last time we had a inspection, which really surprised how thorough they are, noticed we needed a new fan. Mike came out to inspect and put the motor fan in to notice the pipes behind it had cracked. If he hadn't seen tgat we would of had carbon monoxide all in the house. After talking to Amber and finally Rachael who definatly earned her guardian angel wings helped us get things straightened out. I would totally recommend them .they are here on time and explain everything.

I had a membership plan with this company to service my Heating and Air Conditioner system. On October 26, 2026, I paid $144.00 for another year's membership. Also, their technician serviced my system when I was still under my previous membership, technician stated it needed to be replaced soon and provided me with pictures showing internal defects. So, I decided not to use this company to replace my HVAC system because of their high cost, and I decided to use someone else instead, and least costly. Today, 11/20/2024, I called Air Temp Solution for a refund of my future Membership. They denied my refund. I told the representative there was no need to service my new system since it's currently under warranty, and that Air Temp will not be servicing my new system until warranty is over. The representative said the company would not refund me, I believe that Air Temp wanted to replace my HVAC system which is why they refused to refund me. I'm sure I may not be the only one this may be happening to and I consider this a bad business practice against consumers. I want my refund and the company to be investigated for wrongful business practices.
This company steals your membership if you want a refund...they are liars.

My tech cam out and over charged me on the dispatch fee, which I was quoted a different price over the phone. Then my tech. forged my signature on is IPad with me being able to read the term just to me a price. I have prove that Chris forged my signature. Then he left a water under my sink and I had to clean it up after he snaked my drain. Will never use this company again.

I call Air Temp to clean my air Ducts, they said it would cost around 700.00 bucks, the fellow arrived with a large vacuum and a shop vac that had a hose so large it would not fit down 4 vents so he offered me a 20% discount. My vents openings were too small for his equipment. or he didn't have the equipment for the job,he offered to clean what he could, thanks but no thanks, I sent him on his way. The job he offered to do was worth no more than 100.00 bucks
