We called for a simple fix of a valve, a job that takes about 45 minutes of labor. We received 3 phone calls before 8:15 am from 2 different people who didn't know the other had called. They told us to expect service around 9:15. Once it was around 10 we reached out and they said there was car trouble and he would be there in an hour and then he showed up in 10 minutes. Once he got here he said $50 dollars for showing up and 500 dollars for the simple fix, when we refused the manager said we wouldn't find anything cheaper. It is now 12:30 and we have a new plumber who arrived on time, and is doing the job for $280 all together. We paid almost half of what they offered for much better service.

Matt V was truly AWESOME. He listened to my issues and was able to help me. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Previous company came in and intentionally destroyed my PVC pipes to ""create"" the illusion of a problem. Matt saw right thru this and showed me what and how the other company tried to damage my Heat pump. So I recommend him and this company. Everyone has been straight forward with information. I will be staying with this company !! The cost was soooo reasonable...Thank you Matt V. for everything !!

DO NOT USE AIR TEMP SOLUTIONS!!!

They will lie to your face, refuse to answer calls.

$18,000 HVAC installed, company refuses to fix the whole house humidifier that now doesn't work.

""Worthless as tits on a bull"".

Update: November 23, 2024

They called me to schedule one of my annual HVAC inspections. The technician quoted me over a thousand dollars for preventive maintenance repairs. They may or may not have been legitimate, but I informed him that I would have my home warranty company perform any needed repairs. After the visit I remembered that the contract stated that ""Filters would be provided during bi-annual HVAC inspections."" The only stipulation was that ""Filter changes exclude all specialty manufacturing systems.
I sent them an email asking why I did not receive my filters. They responded this morning to tell me that my 14 x 10 x1 filter was a specialty manufacturing system filter. Then she went on to say that I would only have gotten one (1) filter, if I was eligible.

#1 my filter size is not a part of specialty manufacturing system. It is a popular size and readily available on the shelf at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware and other home supply stores. This is a well-known manufacturer and has millions of units in the country. She woke me up with this call, and I was beginning to become annoyed with her explanation. I reminded her that my development has 60 houses in it, and they all have the same size filter. She went on to say that I live in a newer model house and this filter was not a standard size. I was getting angrier with that response, as my home is more than 13 years old. It was at that moment that I knew that I was being scammed.

#2 When she said that I would only have gotten one (1) filter, I was actually floored. The contract says ""filters"" and I have six (6) filters.
This company is really a disappointment. I was looking for an honest operation, but in my opinion this one is certainly not. BEWARE

Prompt service. My repair was completed on the same day. I'm not sure if I will use them again. They charged $458 to replace a capacitor that I replaced for less than $50 three years ago.

I came home on 100+ degree day from running around in my vehicle with no AC to find that my central AC had given out, and it was 99 degrees in my house. Panicked, I got online and tried to figure out how to proceed. Funds are tight, as they are for many right now, so I was trying to determine the best way to resolve - whether to seek repair for my older central unit, or go with window units to get through until I could replace the central.

I saw that Air Temp Solutions was highly-reviewed, and offered a $79 diagnostic service, to be deducted from the total if I decided to do the work. I decided to call, figuring at worst I'd be out $79 and could make a better informed decision on how to proceed. A tech was able to come out immediately, which was great. I let him know the issue, and he let me know of the diagnostic fee, as did the person who took the call. I went inside while he looked at the unit and told him whenever he was finished I'd be right inside.

He knocked not long afterwards, told me he'd fixed the issue, and brought me out to show me what he'd done. This surprised me, as I was never made aware that he was proceeding, and thought I had agreed to the diagnostic only. He confirmed that the unit was on its last legs, as I had feared; told me it was working ""for now"" and that what he had done ""might"" get me through the rest of the summer; and that the unit needed replacing ASAP, as it wasn't worth repairing....right before giving me a total of $485 for repairs, and asking for three signatures.

I was in a bit of shock, and was only lucky that I had that much credit to pay with. I paid and signed, because at that point I was under a good bit of stress, and not really wanting to get into it with a stranger in my yard - and besides, wondered what he was going to do if I couldn't/didn't pay? Break it again? At no point before asking for the payment and signatures did he make me aware of the work he was going to do. It was my understanding from the website, the person I spoke with on the phone, and the tech on arrival, that I would be responsible for the diagnostic, and then decide whether to move forward with the work. While I definitely appreciated that it was working ""for now"" - if the point was to limp through the remainder of summer, I could have spent $300 on 2 window units, instead of spending $485 on a repair that might not hold out.

On top of that I didn't get a copy of anything, so I called and asked for an invoice of what I had paid for, and whether I had misunderstood the offer, and if by agreeing to the diagnostic, I was agreeing to the work as well. The person I spoke with couldn't answer any questions, just told me they could give a message ""to the office."" I asked if there was a direct number - ""it's this number."" I asked when I should expect a call - ""24-48 hours.""

When I didn't receive a call, I called a different number on the website, and got the same person, with the same answers. When I still had not received a call, I sent a detailed email to [email protected], asking if I could please get an itemized invoice of what I paid for, whether I'd misunderstood the offer, and if was it standard practice to do the diagnostic, do the work prior to telling the homeowner, THEN ask for payment and signatures? Over a week later, I have no reply, no record of what was done, no receipt of my payment, and was unable to get a hold of anyone via 3 different contacts listed on the website. To top it off, the AC is already not blowing cold again, and if I can't even get a call back or a receipt, I'm sure there's no guarantee on the work that I was told right on site ""might"" get me through. So while it was great that they got someone out quickly and were able to get it working for at least a little bit, the whole experience felt very scammy, and I'm wondering how there are so many high reviews if this is how business is done. I was looking to make a better informed decision, and instead I'm out $485 and will end up getting window units anyway until I can afford to replace the central.

My AC unit wasn't cooling the house and Air Temp responded very quickly. Gary took care of the issue and was very professional. Very happy with the service. This week, temperatures have been approaching 100 degrees so having the AC quit was very uncomfortable. Great response and service from AirTemp and Gary!
