I would give them no stars if it were an option. Very overpriced, unprofessional. Made an appointment and told them that I needed a new fan for my unit because the vibration has made the screws wear down. Tried to charge me $370 for a fan blade in my condenser (not sure if the viper in my driveway had them thinking they could take advantage of me). My usual AC repair guy charged me $300 for a new motor and the fan blade but he was out of town so I decided to try Air Tech. I told them that $370 was ridiculous so I told them no. Then they told me that there is a $90 diagnostic fee which they never mentioned when I made the appointment. What diagnostics? I told them exactly what I needed. They threatened to call the Collection department so I told them to do so. In the end, I called Rinaldi's Air conditioning company and ended up getting it done for $85. Thank you for absolutely NOTHING Air Tech. Here is my vote against you. I highly DO NOT recommend dealing with this company.

Air Tech was recommended by my Dad, he has used them in the past and he was having them fix his A/C at his house which around the corner. I was looking for a company to service my two units and I talked to the tech while he was at my Dad's house. I ended up agreeing to their Annual Service Agreement for my two units. The tech took my info and I paid right then, he was suppose to email me or call for a date. After 1 1/2 weeks I called them, at first they didn't know who I was and finally they figured it out. They then told me that they were busy, and maybe they had tried to call but she wasn't sure. She then said, well I can put you on our schedule now but we are really busy. I said """"I already paid"""" what do you mean you can now after 1 1/2 weeks try to fit me into the schedule. I asked for a refund and did get one about a week or so later. I decided to put down this review because my fan just went to crap on one unit and I called my Dad and he still recommend them? I guess he has had good experience. I'm still looking for a A/C company in the Orlando downtown area if anyone has a recommendation. Jason S.

If you live in Central Florida and own an old condominium, you'd better have a good airconditioning service. Brian from Air Tech comes out twice a year and performs a sort of surgery on our old airconditioning unit that keeps us going another year. He shows up on time, goes right to work and we love him!

This place is awful. They tried to take advantage of my elderly, wheelchair bound father (84 years), were extremely rude to him when he refused to pay them for incomplete work...yes incomplete...the air was still not working!!! They were so hateful and upset him so bad that he thought he was having a heart attack. An ambulance literally had to come get him and he stayed a night in the hospital. Then the good people from Dell came out and found out the freon had been drained from the unit. Dell tested and there was no leak. Now how did that happen??? Run from this outfit!!!!

On a rare cold day in central Florida I realized my heater was not working. I called AirTech and they came same day. Jeffrey was so friendly and knowledgeable. I requested him for the work. They quoted a very fair price and worked with my schedule to complete the job. I have had no problems. This was literally business made easy, like it used to be. AirTech is an honest group and I will recommend them any chance I get.

Air tech installed our ac (for previous owner) so I thought it best to call them since they know my system. The tech was prompt and friendly and installed the cheapest and simplest thermostat which is what I asked for. What I am unhappy about is that I was charged over $350 to install a thermostat that Target sells for $58. That is either a HUGE service fee or price gouging! This was done on Friday afternoon, so shouldn't be considered a weekend or emergency price

Had a Great Experience with Air Tech of Central Florida. Both Technicians (Jeff and Brian) were prompt, on-time, knowledgeable and courteous. Amanda in the Office was very pleasant to work with as well. They did a Great Job getting my system up and running. I definitely recommend them.

If you have an air conditioning problem contact Air Tech! My air conditioning unit stopped working due to lightning striking the system. Being that it is the summertime you need air conditioning. Unfortunately, it was a Friday afternoon but I gave them a call anyways asuming that I wouldn't be able to get an estimate until next week. Well was I wrong! They sent a tech, Brian, to my house on a Saturday to get it looked at. I was able to get it replaced within the next couple days and now my air conditioning unit is working better than ever. If there is one thing I know about Air Tech it is that they put their customers first and exceed their customer's expectations.

I bought my first house two years ago and have had Airtech come out 6/7 times in that time. While most of their service men have been excellent(minus one under qualified individual that took 2 days for a 4/5 hr job) ive encountered 4. The group at the office will absolutely take advantage of the fact you don't know much about HVAC and their servicemen have even expressed their frustration with the office staff. As other comments have stated, their prices could be considered price gauging. Only reason i know this is because i have multiple friends throughout other areas of the state that work HVAC and give me a comparable price. Airtech is a good 15%-20% more expensive on everything. Ive had nearly everything replaced in both my units(luckily warranty covered some of it, which airtech tried their hardest not to comply with and still charged thousands) so i have seen them here for almost any issue you can think of. The only reason they get two stars is because their servicemen have been very helpful. I hope they are able to find a better company to work for or that they replace whoever it is in charge of things at the office. My advice, find a different company.

After three service calls by another company in January, April and July 2016, my electric bill had increased to a usage of 146 average KWH per day. This usage was 3.5+ times as much as months in the previous year with similar temperatures. This company recommended things from installing a new line, installing additional insulation in the attic to purchasing a new unit even though this one was only a year old -- all very expensive options according to their estimates. A $590.36 monthly electric bill in July took my breath away and I contacted a relative to get recommendations for another company. They recommended and I contacted Air Tech of Central Florida in Longwood, Florida. Jeff, the service representative, was professional and polite and listened to my description of the issue. Right away, he had an idea of what the problem was and began testing to verify his hypothesis. He found that the thermostat had been incorrectly wired to cause the heat to come on when the AC came on. He checked a few other things to ensure there was nothing else. The charge was very reasonable and I felt relieved that the problem had been corrected. The proof of the value of Jeff's work came with my next electric bill. The July bill had been for 30 days and was $590.36 with an average daily usage of 146 KWH/day. The August bill was $176.55 for 32 days with an average daily usage of 42 KWH/day. The difference in the electric bills paid for the service call by Air Tech many times over! If you want air conditioning service from a reputable, professional company who is knowledgeable and provides valuable service, contact Air Tech of Central Florida in Longwood the next time your AC needs servicing.
