I called Air Pro Master for their HVAC summer check-up special which was a real bargain. Their technician, Arnold, spent time checking everything including going into the attic to check the rest of the system. He spent time explaining how the parts worked, and how some AC systems work more efficiently than others. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and did not use high-pressure or scare tactics like some other techs had done in the past. (This AC system is older, it needs to be replaced before it dies in the dead heat of summer, let me call my boss now, he'll give you a discount, etc. etc.) What's important is that I think Arnold respected my intelligence and didn't talk me down. He did a great system check-up, made relevant comments, and answered questions well. This guy knows his business.

This review is specifically for our tech Scott who reinstalled the new hot water tank into its space after extensive restoration and repairs. He went above and beyond what was required to give excellent customer service and I appreciated his work.

I had them come out, contracted through my home warranty, to service my AC units since summer is coming. Rob worked hard and was so friendly and helpful. He educated me about my systems and was honest. I would not hesitate to hire them on my own dime.

Following a claim through my home warranty company, Air Pro Master reached out to schedule a service call. I told them the exact problem I was experiencing and they came to my house the next day. When they arrived at my house, they told my wife that (1) yes, I had correctly diagnosed the problem, (2) the problem probably wasn't covered, (3) the technician would check and follow-up, (4) the technician didn't seem interested in fixing the problem, but could for a large sum of money once the warranty company confirmed they didn't cover it.

The company never followed up. My claim was marked ""complete"" although no work was done. When I called to ask Air Pro why they kept my $75 payment that was made to the warranty company, they told me this was the call out fee, and my problem was with the warranty company. When I asked why they didn't communicate to me before coming out that the problem wasn't covered, they did not give me an answer. I requested the manager call me back so we could chat further.

The owner returned my call, but was no more helpful. He made no offer to fix my problem, or credit any portion of the call out fee to a possible fix of the problem (which is common practice if we had called him directly).

He did keep my $75 (or whatever portion my warranty company gave him) and completed NO actual WORK or customer service.

I put a claim through my home warranty for plumbing services. The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to fix my issues. I was only dissatisfied with the customer service. I believe I spoke with Eric to schedule my appointment. I had difficulty hearing him and he had to repeat things several times. I could tell he became impatient because his tone and demeanor changed. It honestly was a very unpleasant phone call and I was only scheduling an appointment. For this reason I am giving one star so improvements can be made on the customer service side.

I must have gotten a plumber that didn't want to work today because he came to my home previously at which time he was very detailed with the work and suggested several measures to take moving forward with the stoppages that I had experienced in my sink.

So I was very shocked when this same plumber appeared and did not wish to do any work at all. When I met him at infront of my house he complained about the type of pipes I had. When he got looked in my tub and kitchen sink, he said that he wanted to clean it out. This demand sent me on a search for a handyman.

Question: Why would a plumber request a handyman on his job?

My guess would be to find an excuse not to do his job. I was adamant about him snaking my home to see if that would do the trick to which he refused stating that he had other calls to make.

When I called his home office, they pretty much supported this lazy man.
Never. ever. again.

I wish I wrote this review right after the work was done a few weeks ago (I forgot the guys name that did the work). He did an outstanding job (apparently a new guy....hasn't been with the company very long). They were scheduled by our Home Warranty Company to fix some plumbing issues in the bathrooms (replace shower valves/cartridges, toilets, faucets, etc). I showed the guy what needed to be done when he showed up, he then went over what he was going to do before he started, did each each one, showed me what he did (to included the parts that he replaced) and was out of here. Very quick and everything was done very well. I'd definitely request this same company on my next call in for plumbing issues thru my Home Warranty Company (especially if I could get the same tech to do the work because I've found in the past that its all about the technician in my opinion). I've had a few pretty bad companies sent by my Home Warranty Companies in the past.....these guys wasn't one of them.

Don't!!! Just don't!!!!! Stay away!!!!! They are not pro's and definitely not masters!!!! They replaced my water heater which was perfectly fine just because they couldn't locate the source of a leak I had on my porch. The unprofessional technician left me with no hot water for three days, on a Saturday night in this freezing cold just because he couldn't do his job right! He determined it was an electrical issue! So I had an electrician working on Sunday for two hours just to determined that there is something wrong with the water heater and not with the electricity!!! Monday morning I got a different technician from a different company who came and fixed the issue in 10 minutes while air pro master wanted to send me an electrician when I already told them that it's not an electrical issue!!!!! I was already 10 steps ahead of them. They made me to spend hundreds of dollars on something that could have been avoided we did the right diagnosis and with a professional technician! Not to mention leaving me with no hot water for three days when there was absolutely nothing wrong with my previous water heater!!!!!
Any way, long story short..... BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are running a scam by charging me an extra $100 to attach the water lines to the water heater above the $100 trade call fee I paid. They call it a T&P modification which is a complete lie. Ashley called me from dispatch demanding I pay them $100 up front before they came out and completed the work. Ashley also THREATENED me to update my review while she was collecting the extra $100. They take you hostage by doing this as my water heater had failed and I had no choice but to be extorted by their greed and dishonestly. It's amazing Tony has the nerve to tell me in his response to my initial review I should be grateful I'm only paying $200 as it was a $800-1300 job. 1st of all that is none of their business that I am an informed consumer and pay for a home warranty to assist me with these costs. 2nd their statement goes both ways, they are still getting paid $800-1300 for the job so really the greed is obvious from their end. They even tried giving me a receipt that said DNC (do not collect/charge) when the technician was done but I made him write on the receipt the extra $100 they charged me.

Please review the new picture I have added. Tony states in his response the extra $100 is due to the new water heater T&P valve is located on the side. NOT TRUE! My new water heater valve is located on the top just like the one they replaced. They can't even get their lies straight.

Lastly Eric in dispatch said they charge everyone this extra fee so they have collected THOUSANDS of dollars in fraudulent charges and apparently they feel quite good about it.
