NOT TRUSTWORTHY!! My AC wasn't cooling well. They diagnosed a bad circuit board and wanted over $800 to replace it. When I asked how much the actual part was, they claimed that they didn't know (or really wouldn't tell me). When I asked what the part number was so I could find out myself, they again claimed they didn't know (wouldn't tell me that either). After some research I found out that the OEM part was only $280. So I ordered it myself but then they refused to install it.

I use to love this company and have used them for the past 4 years for all my service needs. I decided to have them install a new unit in my house and today is Day 27 of problems. Not once has the very expensive, top of the line unit worked and in fact, it has made me miss my 17 year old 1 stage, 14 seed units tremendously. I now have mold in the bathrooms (which is causing us both to feel allergy-like sick everyday) and my hard wood flooring is warping, I've have Reef aquarium fish and live coral die bc temps get too hot, and my dogs are panting and shedding all day every day. All while having to take so many days off work to meet representatives and service people who are constantly running late for a 2 hour service window. They have attempted to fix the original cooling issue but have failed each time. Today they are suppose to be here between 12-2 and for the 3rd time they are running behind with no estimate. I've never given a bad review on anything because I give way more time than I should for people to correct their mistakes. Everyone deserves a chance to remedy issues that come up because sometimes these issues are unpredictable. But with numerous other consults I'm participating in now, no other company can figure out why it would take almost 30 days to right this ship, which still hasn't occurred. I'm at a loss for what to do if this doesn't get handled and all my issues they have caused fixed, and I hate to say this might be the first time in my life I'll have to resort to litigation efforts which makes me sick to my stomach to even think about doing.

I have abandoned my maintenance program with Air Engineers. Their service people are not trained or knowledgeable in their field. Because I am fair I gave AE three chances before changing to a knowledgeable company who made the repair in less than 1 hour. This is unacceptable!! I would like to give zero stars!!

Deceptive unclear practices. Beware the sales person pitch versus what the fine print says later. You think you got a warranty better read fine print. I paid for 10- year warranty have almost nothing to show for it. Every time these people come out I doubt they are actually servicing my unit. They come they go unit breaks down within a month or weeks. Lenux breaks down that soon so I have to pay for parts at 15% discount even with contract? Bad deal. No more with these people. Suspect change of ownership has led to screwing customers instead.

Our experience with Air Engineers/Service Experts has been nothing but the best. First our talk with Wayne Furr and selecting the unit we wanted was nothing but first class. When the installers, Carlos #66 and Fikret #56 arrived they immediately went to work, took out the old unit and had the new one installed in three hours. They cleaned up after themselves, didn't leave a thing on the ground or in the house. The unit works as advertised, very quiet and powerful. Thanks guys for the good service. Don D.

Have a service plan and called after work Friday when I got home from work. Given an appointment Sat 12-2 to address the water pouring out of my unit down the wall and all over the floor. Call at 3:20 Saturday. They say give tech an hour to call you, hour later called back. Then they say you don't have an appointment we don't make appointments after 12:00 noon on Saturdays. This is complete bull. Save your money they will not be there when you need them only for scheduled service. I'm taking my business elsewhere. Honesty Friday night would have kept me from wasting an entire day off waiting on a co that had no intention of showing up. Emergency on your part not taken seriously by them. Unreliable

Do not walk but run from this company. I thought when I called them that I was talking to Ed's Comfort Solutions when I called them as they service our units. They had my mom's cell phone number and her name but were not able to locate our previous records because they said it was after hours. I told them that we have the same problem that they came out for last year so I did not want to pay a service fee. They lead me to believe that they were ECS. They said not to worry because they had a coupon that I could use and that would cover the $100 service fee. So I said if that was the case, to come on out as my house and they said that even though it was after hours the coupon would still work. So Steven Estrada, the service technician comes out, sits in our driveway about 20 min before entering our house. He then comes in, and checks out our 2 systems but does not even go to the system that is up in the attic that was having the problem. After about 2 hours of the guy working outside, he comes into the house and said that he needs to replace the motor or the whole unit. That is was going to be very costly but if we replaced the whole unit it would solve us having to have it repaired in the future. That the unit was 9 years old and that because we are surround by water, the life of it is not as long as if we were not around water, which could last up to 15 years. He said it was my choice but he would need to order the parts and it could take days to come in. My parents had been traveling all day so they went to bed and he and asked if I were their power of attorney. I thought that was not only a strange question but non of his business regardless. I informed him that they were very capable but had been traveling all day and went to bed. The A/C did not effect their room. I told him I would discuss with my father the next day and would get back with him. He then said that I owed him $100 for the service call. I told him that when I called to set up the appointment that I was told that there would be no charge as the gentleman on the phone said that he would apply coupon so there would not be any service call fee. Steven said that was only the case if they did the repair. That the $100 would be waived if they did the repair. I told him that I was not informed about any stipulations. He said that he could not leave the house until he was paid or he would write in his documents that I refused payment. I told him that would not be the truth as I was never informed that I had to pay the service fee. He said that he has to close out the paper work and they only option he has would be to put in the paper work that I refused to pay. I suggested that he call the guy that I talked to when I set up the appointment. We called him and I had it on speaker. The woman that answered said that he left for the day. I asked what his notes said that the called told me when I set up the appointment. She said that the service fee would be waived because he applied the coupon. Steven heard her say this first hand. So then Steven asked me to ask her if there were any stipulations. She said yes, that I had to have them do the work. However, she like the guy when I set up the appointment never offered any stipulations. They clearly only stated that the service call was free. If I knew there were stipulations before they came out, I never would have had them come out. Steven finally leaves and I had Ed Comforts Solutions come out today. They fixed the issue in 45 minutes and charged a $75 service fee. There was simple a short in one of the wires. The a/c is up and running and the motor and unit that they tried to sell us a new one of, is working perfectly fine. Don't walk but run from Air Engineers!
