Our AC stopped working in August. We called Air Engineers on Wednesday, and they booked an appointment between 12-4 on Thursday. We finally received a call at 4:45 from the tech saying she was on her way and asked what the problem was. We told her, and she tried to cancel because she didn't have the correct equipment to test the unit. We told her that was unacceptable, so she had another person meet her. The first appointment...1.5 hours late. We told them to go ahead and fix it, so they were scheduled to come out the next day (Friday) between 10-2 to repair the unit. At 2:30, we get a call saying they can't make it and have to reschedule Monday between 8-12. It's August, and we don't have a working AC unit. We get a hotel for the weekend and back on Monday. We get a call at 10 am to inform us the tech is on his way. 1:00, still no tech, so I called for the 4th time, and they said he is on his way. At 2, we get a call saying they had the wrong part and it would be Tuesday. I hired a different company, and they fixed it Tuesday without a problem. I never canceled my appointment with Air Engineers to come Tuesday. We never heard from them again. This company is a joke.

My AC stopped working and I had the another company come out and find that the A-coil in the air handler had leaked The test only took 10 minutes with a leak analyzer. The first company told me they would not fix the system since it was out of warranty and they only work on systems that have an active warranty. Otherwise they wanted to replace the whole system. So I called Air Engineers for a bid to repair. When I was making the appointment on the phone I was told that if I already had a service call from another company they would do a service call for free. This was the case, so I made an appointment with them. Just Before the tech was to arrive he called me and asked what was going on with the system I told him what the other tech had found (leaking coil). He told me that the service call to diagnose the system would be around $475!! I told him that we already know it has a leaking coil. He claimed that they would need to reassess the system themselves and it would be $475. Checking the system for a leak is only a 10 minute routine. These guys are scammers in my opinion. Watch out!

My AC was out I called several places and kept calling until I found someone who could come out that evening they assured me someone would be there that evening I called back several times they told me I was next then I was the only one in line several calls later I found out the supervisor canceled the call at almost 11:00 at night if you want your AC fixed in a hurry I suggest not calling these people I still have no AC will be having someone else come out tomorrow oh and by the way when one of the service managers called me back Sergio his name was he did inform me that he could come out tonight but only if I was going to purchase a new unit from them I informed him that I had a 10-year parts warranty on my unit that I bought in 2015 and he said well my hands are tied

I called Air Engineers this morning for a problem with my heat pump system that had stopped running during the night. When the technician arrived and opened the air handler he said oh, the wire nut on the incoming power wire has come loose. After he fixed the connection, about 2 minutes, I asked him why would the wire nut come loose, and he said they come loose from time to time and should have been checked and tightened during your last system maintenance. The technician then told me there was an $85.00 charge for replacing the wire nut. I asked the tech why I had to pay for the service call, since I am on your yearly system maintenance. He said the charge was for the wire nut installation. First, I cannot believe that Air Engineers would have the gall to charge $85.00 to install a wire nut. Second, why do I pay for yearly maintenance, if I have to pay to have something fixed, that should have been corrected, during my last six months system maintenance checkup? If this is the way Air Engineers is going to treat one of their longtime customers, I will be looking for another company to handle my future home heating, and air condition needs I was called today by the Air Engineers operations manager who seems to feel that making money is more important then a good customer relationship. He did not seem to want to talk with a dissatisfied customers.

We have them since 2018 and subscribe for membership. They were supposed to do annual and semi-annual maintenance of our. 2 AC units. Unfortunately, I come to find out the Condenser unit was not adequately cleaned. We have many trees in our yard, and the bottom of the unit was all caked up with debris. The last technician who check it found out that the coils leak. He was trying to sell me the whole AC system instead of suggesting how to replace it. The unit was still in warranty btw. I had another company to check it. They said that they were supposed to clean the debris, hose down and clean the coils as maintenance. Now I have to replace it. The air service engineer technician told me that they have a payment plan of $200 per month for 10 years this includes maintenance and repairs. That is craZy it will total to $24,000 in 10 years. I had the coil replaced $1,400 that includes labor , coils and refrigerants.

Tried calling just now and after a lengthy automated pre call warm up, they disconnected as soon as a human picked up. Must have more business than they know what to do with! Good luck!

I will just post the photo's, this is after a paid check-up, they offered a quote for a new unit on the way out, my father would not let me call the police regarding the theft of 3 AAA batteries

This was my semiannual system checks for my two home A/C units, a package unit on the first floor and a heat pump on the second. Thomas arrived on time and was a pleasure to have here. He was very thorough in his review of my systems. He was professional and very polite. He took pictures on his phone of my units and showed me the extensive corrosion on my attic unit. He made some good recommendations on the best steps for me. I wax very impressed with the service and offer my highest recommendation.

Our A/C was making a strange sound. The fan didn't come on so I called Air Engineers since we have had a service plan with them for the last five years. Paul R., Technician #424, came out within an hour and a half of my call to the office. He diagnosed the fan motor was malfunctioning and arranged for repair the next day. Paul was respectful of social distancing and ensuring he did not track in dirt on our floors. My wife and I are very happy with the services we have received from Air Engineers!

i was terribly treated by both service mgr Steve and mgr Jeff by this company. a tech by the name of Jose was a great and professional guy, who came the day before unfortunately he did not have time to do the job, but promised me it would be done the next day for the price of $350.00 plus Freon, so we waited and waited finally Steve called short over the phone said , they were not coming ??? unit was to old and then hung up on me i think , never called back , so i called to speak to the owner or gm of the company . Jeff mgr called me back, but went on the defensive conversation went no where protected Steve and bashed Jose poor guy. did not want to hear my story is how it came across. finally agreed to do the work, BUT made it sound like pay if not working tough luck, Really, i,m in the service business, would never treat anyone the way my wife and i were treated, bigger fish to fry is my response to their call to busy to do a small fix rather i spend $10.000 on a new unit and they will be happy to show up. i would highly recommend not to deal with these people, again their tech. that came out was honest and a true professional.
