After moving to Anna Maria Island from the north, Trudy and Stewart Moon Sr. acquired a very small air conditioning company, which at that time only had a handful of workers.
As newcomers to the field, the Moons gained knowledge about everything they could, and over the years, they have built a company that they are immensely proud of.
Today, their son, Stewart Jr. (who grew up alongside the business) has assumed responsibility, overseeing the company that he observed his parents devote their full passion to.
Stewart Jr. and Trudy are in the office, teaming up as a great duo with their incredible team of individuals—which has now increased to about 50!

I've been having trouble with my AC. It works and then it won't. So I called Air and Energy. The first trip they found a plugged drain, fixed it and all was fine. The second trip they found a pressure issue with the freon, fixed it and all was fine. The third trip, when it was clear that something significant was wrong, Marshall the tech spent quite a bit of effort examining and diagnosing. What he found was a transformer that had exploded on itself and wasn't working. What I want to emphasize is that Air and Energy really worked to solve this problem. In each case a technician was out the day I called, usually within just 2-3 hours. In every case they were professional, focused on the job, and easy to have in the house. I really trust this company to help me when needed. All three technicians were people I would have in the house again, but I want to express special kudos to Marshall for finding the offending transformer. I'm cool in my house now and very much hoping that is the norm for the foreseeable future.

Very poor customer service. The technician was Eddi Pena. He was not friendly and acted inconvenienced to answer my questions. I will be changing companies and advising my mother to do the same.

WORSE COMPANY EVER! DO NOT USE THEM. RUN, and call someone else, because NO ONE CAN BE WORSE. They actually deserve zero stars, and they only get 2 out of 5 stars based on all their other reviews, which is an F rating. Just read all the other reviews and you'll see what I mean. I could give you a dozen technical details, but they are stupid, dishonest, and snotty, and this guy Stewie doesn't care about the elderly or any of the customers. The very worst part, besides the thousands of dollars, and long weeks in the hot Florida weather with poor ac, is that they don't know what they're doing, at all. HORRIBLE PEOPLE providing HORRIBLE SERVICE. They're horrible, every one of them.

We had a great experience with Air and Energy for the installation of a tankless hot water heater. They were on time and the work was done expertly The crew were very polite!

Everytime we have used this service they have been late for the appointment, causing myself or my husband to loose 2+ hours of work. There is never even a phone call to tell you that they are running behind. The last time (and final time) we used them they were over 1.5 hours late for our routine scheduled maintenance!

Of course, my AC went out Thanksgiving day! 1st thing Fri called Air & Energy. Immediately got a 10-2 appointment. Manuel Lopez showed up at 10, found the problem, & fixed! He was friendly & competent. I'd never go anywhere else.....this is usual service for A&E. Thank you!!!

I have purchased new A/C, 2 toilets, water heater plus service calls for plumbing, electrical and maintenance for A/C over the past 10 years. I've never been lied to, pressured or disappointed. I've probably spend almost $15,000 over that period. I would highly recommend them. Not the cheapest, but the best.

EVERYONE at Air & Energy was kind and patient in dealing with a woman who REALLY needed hot water. :) They evaluated my situation, determined the hot water heater I needed and quickly scheduled the service. They answered phone calls (no machines!) and they were kind and patient. They did not try to """"over sell services"""" that I didn't need but did make some valuable offers. The value for the money was excellent! I couldn't be happier!

Received a service for the air conditioning unit. Tech poked several holes in the ductwork in the garage for a temperature reading. He cleaned three sides of coils on the outside unit. He checked the coolant level and released the extra refrigerant from the unit, leaving a greasy look on the grass beside the unit. The technician seemed concerned about the seven year old unit and suggested a brand new unit. Even had a salesperson call to schedule the new unit. After he left, we decided to use a can of coil cleaner and clean the built up dryer lint from the back side of the unit and and patch the five holes on the ductwork

Horrendous. Young plumber not willing to fix issue onsite but charges 1.5 hours of time standing around and then sends estimate to come back another day to repair. Would have been happy to pay to fix on first visit but not for 2 visits and accrued hours for literally nothing. Seems like Air and Energy is used to this type of feedback. I guess it's one way to make a little extra money if Lapensee is getting all your business.
