After the stock market collapse in 2008, I was let go. Eventually, I resolved to get my plumbing license and initiate the process of launching a small business. I faced challenges in obtaining a business loan, which left me with no choice but to promote my services. For two years, I utilized unemployment benefits provided by President Obama. As the unemployment benefits fell short of covering my startup costs, I persisted in networking and discussing my aspirations with friends and family. I found it challenging to gain traction, despite my relentless efforts. In 2011, I noticed that Lowes was looking for installers, so I seized the opportunity. I have built a moderate reputation in plumbing, but I am still working to thrive. I owe much of my learning to my friend Bill Rucha in Michigan. I am grateful for his assistance and mentorship. I make an effort to help him when possible. I frequently run my business alone. I give all the credit to God. Gratitude to you, Lord.
