A couple of things first I want to say that we've used these folks for years However I am not sure what has happened to the business because they have definitely gone down hill quickly starting with the NASTY receptionist that need to go back to customer service school ! We have a elderly neighbor whose AC went out 2 wks ago we. Called - it took 3 visits and a total of 5-6 days of NO AC in this heat for a 90+ year old widow to get her compressor replaced which was under warranty anyway and was mis diagnosed and when replaced the idiots who replaced it didn't bother to do a through job and failed to check the Freon after they finally replaced the compressor so guess what the AC went out AGAIN!! No empathy or compassion until we got involved to help her get this resolved again. So the moral of the story if you use them beware and stay on top of them and if you're elderly get someone to help u cause they don't care if it's 100 degree out and they've messed up the two times before. They work on their schedule! TERRIBLE SERVICE

I have technicians come out put a new coil and a new condenser and then you would think they would come in and talk to the client and let them know that everything is working but instead We're just gonna get in the truck. The next day I saw a condensation on the handler and look like oil leaking from where they put the new compressor outside when I had a technician come out to check it he said the condensation is normal and put a piece of tape across it and outside he said that was condensation that oil. Then the technician was rude to my wife And after he just looked at it and did nothing else he was going to drive off. My wife stop them to have them go talk to her father who is 90 years old and paying the bill. I wasn't satisfied so I called the office to have a supervisor come out and was told I would get a call the following morning that never happened now I called again and I have to wait till Monday and today's Thursday. Once they get your money they don't wanna know you

Thank you for prompt response !!! Fixed our issue.. quickly and effectively. Have used in the past and will continue to use in future!

Brand new unit 4 ton Rheem. The unit does not cool the house from day i bought this that was 3 weeks ago. STILL no repair from the company. This is terrible and NO support from the company. I have pictures of the temperature getting to 82 degrees. If i could give them a lower rating i would. I really hope this does not happen to anyone else.

In July I wanted to have 2 air conditioning units serviced (1 unit is 8 years old and the other is 5). I've been using Air Around The Clock for over 7 years. Never had an issue with them, recommended them to many others, BUT when someone tries to con me and lies to me, I feel it is my obligation to let others know. On July 2, I called to schedule general maintenance. The women told me that it was going to be $165 per unit, but, If I took out a yearly plan it was $340 for 2 service calls a year. That's a no brainer for $10 there would be a second service on both units. After the credit card was processed, she said the first available service date was 3 weeks later July 24. I questioned why she didn't mention that up front and got some snippy little answer like I was cheap and that was the policy. OK, the units were working, there was no problem, it could wait. July 24 Damion arrived, I showed him the unit in the attic and the one in the garage. Two hours later, he told my husband that the downstairs unit had ice buildup and he called another technician to come to access the issue. Then came Herby, who told us the coils were iced and leaking. They could be replaced for $1895 which may not solve the problem and strongly suggested we get a new unit for $4300. We chose the new system. That night, the upstairs was not cooling. Sunday morning, AATC sent Herby back. Not only was he NASTY, but CONDESCENDING too. He told us that in addition to the $4300 replacement we needed $595 of new piping for the upstairs and there was nothing he could do to get the upstairs air working. Herby, if you read this, a word to the wise, if a customer already agrees to spend $4300 be nice, you're trying to get more money from them, don't be rude and don't try to intimidate them! As soon as Herby left, I called another company, who sent a tech. Nothing was mentioned about the AATC diagnosis. The honest technician said the downstairs unit was running cold, in very good shape and didn't need any work (what no $4300 replacement, no leaky coils?). I mentioned the ice and the coil, and his response was the filter tray was open and that's why there was condensation and ice. As for the upstairs unit, Damion scraped calcium down the pipes and didn't flush them out. It stopped cooling because someone turned the overflow switch off and I guess Herby just wanted us to suffer without air. Air Around the Clock wanted $4300+ to replace a perfectly good air conditioning unit, they deliberately shut off another working unit so we would suffer in the heat and be grateful to spend more money with them. As of now, 3 weeks later, we have a new trustworthy Air Conditioning company to work with. We did have some work done to repair Damion's error and it was nothing close to the $4900 AATC quoted and surprise, surprise, the downstairs system never needed any work.

This company is a huge rip off. They sent a guy out to exchange my X-13 air handler motor that they put in in 2012. The motor has a 10 year warranty. The tech refused to change the motor under warranty saying that the air conditioner system was 14 years old. This tech didn't even make any sense since the sticker on the outside of the unit has nothing to do with the part that is under warranty which still has 2 more years of warranty that this company installed. The air handler casing is nothing but a casing and that doesn't go bad. The tech says that the new motor will be $1300.00. I laughed in his face since I know that I could of had an Evergreen motor installed for a couple of hundred total billing price and got a new 10 year warranty. I instead called BAM - Big Air Mechanical. I got another X-13 motor for less than half of Air Around The Clock quoted price. The must think every one is ignorant and they prey on the uninformed. Very very bad company.

Just called ATC to get a quote on a new A/c install. They looked up the 3 years old that had other requested work. I asked for a quote with Air handle and condensor install broken out from a return box rebuild and extra pan with float switches and they said they wouldn't do it. Tried to run over me he whole conversation and didn't want to talk about equipment detail and options. When i said will not do business with out break down on cost he said have a nice day and hung up. If you can't get a reasonable level of service before you by whats the chances after. Suggest stay away.

I have used Air around the Clock for years for multiple properties. It has been awhile but I needed service on a rental property. My tenant complained that the technician was rude but I put that aside. I spoke to the technician over the phone and he gave me a quote and told me they couldn't clean it that day and would have to come back out. First the price was extremely high but I had used them before and I wanted it repaired. He gave me a verbal cost and said the trip charge for that day would be credited towards that cost. When they charged my card, they charged me for the cleaning with no credit AND charged me for the day they came out. I tried calling their office twice and was told someone would call me back and no one ever returned the calls. Based on this they have lost a long term client.

I had them come out to check on my ac unit and perform a maintenance check. They told me my whole entire unit needed to be replaced which would cost about $4500... plus I asked about duct cleaning and they said over $1000... As a first time home owner I had no idea what the prices were going to reflect. I had two other companies give me estimates and perform a maintenance check. Come to find out- Duct cleaning would be around $300 plus sanitizing and my unit was fine and I would possibly need a new motor within the next year ( which is only about $400). This place is disgusting! The outrageous charges they tried to make me pay is unbelieveable! They should be ashamed of themselves!

Called to get a x13 motor swap from air handler. Guy comes out and says $1300.00 just for the motor alone. $300 more to install. I had to laugh in his face. The motor is a plug and play programmed from the factory. Besides that the motor was installed by them in 2012 with a 10 yr warranty. The tech tries to lie again and says my a/c factory sticker says the unit is a 2006 so its out of warranty. That doesnt even make sense. Total liar. Who cares what the sticker says. The motor they installed and has now failed still has 2 yrs of warranty left on it and is covered but they refused to honor their word. This company steals money from the uninformed. Professional thieves. I ended up getting an x13 motor for $575.00 installed. Could have actually had an Evergreen motor dropped in for less than that. I only let them do the installation for warranty purposes. I actually could have replaced it myself. Dont trust this company. Go with BAM A/C. Big Air Mechanical.
