I noticed moisture around the base of my 5 month old toilet which was installed as part of a full bathroom remodel. I contacted the company who performed the remodel and after a few texts and phone calls, the communication dropped off on their end. I decided to move on since it was apparent that they weren't going to help.

I did my best to perform a diagnosis by conducting the normal troubleshooting steps e.g. food coloring in the bowl, wiping the area dry followed by flushes etc. My theory was that the wax ring was not making a good seal with the toilet base but I needed a professional to confirm. I sent several estimate requests through Yelp but I ultimately chose Miguel for a couple reasons:

* communication was quick
* an immediate price estimate was not provided. I appreciated the fact that he wanted to check out the problem first before providing an estimate. This was not the case with most of the other plumbers I contacted.

Miguel arrived on time and was considerate in wearing a mask at all times when we were talking. He was also good with using shoe booties when walking on our carpet. The price he charged to reseat the toilet, put on a new wax ring, level the flange to floor height and install new flange bolts was fair. The quality of the work thus far seems good so far: no more unexpected water at the base after flushing.

I reached out to Miguel during New Year holiday weekend regarding a water leak at a rental property. Miguel responded promptly and provided quote based on the information provided, all via text. Plus Miguel and his team practices all the recommended safety procedure by wearing gloves, shoe covers, masks. At the earliest availability of the tenant, Miguel and his team fixed the leak within half an hour. To top it off, Miguel provided the photos of before and after of the repair. Payment and invoice were provided in an email and linked to Square Space to allow credit card payment. Very professional through and through.

I would give Miguel 10 stars if possible. I have been a property manager for an older main house and apartment units in the back for many years and have been thru multiple of the 'tv commercial' plumbers for just about every type of repair and replacement with non-favorable results. From water heater replacements, re-pipes, clogged drains, plumbing repairs, toilet parts etc. Since finding Miguel/Aid a few years ago - he has answered all phone calls immediately and came out same day / sometimes within the hour (including a late Sunday afternoon or two), they have a very well equipped truck (they to date have never did the ""I will be right back"") and he is one of the most personable trades I have met. Highly recommend.

Our water heater broke late at night and the next morning I contacted Miguel if he could help us. They made time the same day to look at it and fixed it as well on the spot. Very happy with the quick response and fix. Couldn't ask for better customer service, definitely recommend them!
