In 1954, Centre Plumbing & Heating began, with Licensed Master Plumbers.
1958 - Ocean Electric Co. was launched, as Licensed Master Electricians.
In 1964, we began to serve the power needs of businesses in the five boroughs of New York boroughs.
1978 - We moved to our new location in Freeport, NY.
1978 - We expanded our services to include air conditioning.
In 1981, A & I Mechanical Services Inc. was established.
In 1981, Centre Plumbing & Heating Co. and Ocean Electric Co. combined to form A & I Mechanical Services Inc.
We have become a comprehensive mechanical contractor, equipped to handle all industrial, manufacturing & home property owner, regardless of.
The year 1985 marked our expansion into Fire Sprinklers, to better serve our business and industrial customers.
In 1989, we expanded to offer backflow services, with sales, service & installation.
We are licensed plumbers serving all of Long Island.

Richard G.I requested a routine inspection of my gas, hot water heating system since I thought one area of the house was a bit cold. The service call was answered promptly. There were no major problems found but he did flush the hot water pipes just in case an air bubble was impeding the flow of hot water in the heating pipes. The system seemed to work better after this was completed. The price was fair for the time he spent working on the system. I would highly recommend this company for honest and reliable service.
