Hired Ahoy for a water heater replacement. George was on time and was able to give me estimates for the various types of water heaters and installed the new water heater that same day. George was professional, the place was left clean and delivered a great product at a fair price. Will definitely call Ahoy for any future plumbing needs and will pass on his info to family, friends and neighbors.

This is the 2nd time I used Ahoy. First time he came into our condo a couple of years ago and fixed all my running toilets and changed a bad shower diverter I already bought. This year George and his man changed my 50 gallon hot water heater in a tight space. He rotated the new tank, moved the expansion tank location and piping to make flushing the tank easy. And he moved my dryer carefully sealing the exhaust pipe connections. 2 men got it done same day. Everything is neat and clean.

Scheduling was easy. Arrived on time and completed the job in time allotted. Found a bad pressure valve on the incoming water line, quoted a very fair price and was able to fix that too. Our water pressure is better than before and hot water arrives faster in our shower!

I contacted George (owner) of Ahoy Plumbing to remove/install a vanity faucet, replace (2) spigots in the laundry room, and reroute an old plumbing drain under a bathroom vanity. He arrived early, listened intently as I explained my concerns, and went right to work.

I had called another master plumber about replacing and rerouting the old drain, but he was unable to address the issue. The job required opening up the drywall, removing/cutting the old drain line that attached to the main drain, and installing the new line. George's knowledge was extensive, and his expertise was evident, when he handled the job with relative ease.

George was extremely patient, answering numerous questions that I had about the proper techniques and materials used in the plumbing trade. He has a great personality and is a pleasure to work with.

If you are looking for an experienced master plumber that performs quality work for a fair price call Ahoy Plumbing. He will be my plumber for all future projects.

I write this review of Ahoy Plumbing with the highest recommendation: Water was pooling at the corner of our lawn near the meter well in the sidewalk. George responded swiftly and came out when he said he would. After shutting off my main water line, he worked in the pouring rain to ensure there was no leak on my line (it was a municipal issue). He then gave me information about my house's plumbing that I didn't know before. Last, he wrote up a detailed report of his findings and diagnosis for my use and records. A consummate professional. All this no charge! I will definitely call Ahoy Plumbing again.

We bought a house that needed a LOT of plumbing work the previous owner neglected many repairs and replacements. I called a few plumbers but this one was clearly a standout.
George arrived and fixed our biggest problems quickly and well.
In 3 follow up visits we had everything fixed well showers, toilets, pipes, sinks, drains, connecting pipes.
He showed up on time, communicated well between jobs, had very high skills as did his helper on the only 2 man job.

Our toilet was clogged past the point that we could deal with, and our garbage disposal wasn't turning on at all. While on the phone with George to schedule the appointment, he asked questions to diagnose the toilet and disposal, and was able to mostly fix the disposal over the phone by telling me what to do. The next day, he was on time and finished fixing the disposal the rest of the way. There was a screw stuck in it, and he didn't charge for that part of the fix because of how simple it was and how little time it took. The toilet he and his apprentice fixed without much trouble, and he charged a very fair price. I will definitely be using them for plumbing needs going forward, and would recommend them to anyone who asked.
