My husband and I requested a quote for mini-splits from Roadrunner. Their sales manager Bill Stimson was absolutely awful to work with. He was rude over the phone before he even showed up, rude in person, and when we requested a slight change to the quote sent a rude email.

Here's a direct quote after my husband requested a change to the quote: ""When I didn't get a chance to meet with you to review choices & details....that suggestion couldn't be made."" He's basically suggesting that if my husband, the man, were there he could have talked through those choices. Even though their quotes were competitive, I'd never work with this company, EVER.

I used to love this business. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. If you're lucky, you may get a good plumber, or - a novice that shows up without the proper tools, then disappears from the site, and does a lousy job when he decides to reappear. When the ""plumber"" gave me a huge bill, I called the office to question why this job wasn't billed by the hour, like all the other times they came to my house. The dispatcher lied and said he gave a job quote, which never happened.
I switched to TLC.
