Recommended Customer Reviews

I'm a fan of supporting small local businesses and I really wish I had a more positive review for this company. I own and manage 10+ vacation homes and rental apartments in Tucson, so I require plumbing and other services on a regular basis. I've utilized Agile on several occasions with mixed success. Initial experiences were OK, then things seemed to go downhill fast.
This most recent experience will be the last. Too many issues to go into detail including unprofessional receptionist, poor quality workmanship, change in pricing terms after the job started, poor communication (from not telling tenants when water would be shut off and for how long, to coming and going without an update as to what to expect, and culminating with a heated verbal altercation with one of my tenants), and taking multiple days to finish what should have been at most a 4 hour job.
The last straw was the receptionist giving me an unsolicited lesson on my supposed lack of ""professionalism"" after I expressed my concerns regarding the poor quality of the job. If I want a lesson on professionalism, I'm obviously not going to look to advice from this company. Since they were kind enough to school me in customer service - allow me to offer a few unsolicited tips of my own:
1) Hire and train better back office personnel.
2) Let residents know when and for how long water will be off.
3) Don't make the owner call and text you for updates when you go MIA.
4) Don't change pricing terms after job started and customer few options.
5) Check your work for leaks before you leave.
6) Learn how to de-escalate issues when you fail to do all of the above.
For whatever reason the back office was either unwilling or unable to acknowledge my concerns and work toward a mutually agreeable resolution. I'm a patient guy, but this experience really pushed me past my limit. Maybe next time they fall short they will work a little harder to show a modicum of empathy and try to make things right rather than insult the customer.

Last night, we noticed that our low-flow toilet was full to almost the top of the bowl. NEVER a good sign! We plunged and ran a hose through the clean out port and hoped for the best. This morning, one of our showers had dirt all over the floor (shhh. It wasn't any form of poop. Just let me live my life.). We called Agile Plumbing at 8:15am and Michael was at our house before noon. We really appreciated that he gave us a call WELL before the arrival time he had quoted us to let us know he was running a little late. Rather than automatically run a snake and risk damaging our pipes and his equipment, he carefully ran a camera through both of our clean out ports to check for pipe damage. Luckily the pipes were fine, it was just a blob of diaper wipes ?. Learn from us - no matter what any healthcare professional tells or gives you, DIAPER WIPES ARE NOT FLUSHABLE!

I trust Michael from agile plumbing ! Friendly , fair , & professional. He knows plumbing all types. Costco uses him also. Met him originally from warranty program. When needed went back directly to him.
Like all service pros trusting your professional is important.

The absolute worst. I had to stand there and give him pointers. He said he needed to remove the tile around my roman tub which is not covered under a home warranty. The tile removal was in fact not required. I reached out to the home warranty company and they agreed to get me another plumber to fix the leaking faucet.
Also, the plumber did not even cover his shoes and tracked filth in to my home before I even noticed he wasn't wearing covers. Also, on the second visit (while he was trying to figure out how to fix the problem) his COVID face mask was removed when I went to check on him in my bathroom. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

Had a terrible experience with Agile plumbing (assigned to us through 2-10 warranty). Michael came to my house to fix a broken drain pump under the tub. He was here for 5 minutes and assessed the part he needed -- he said it was an easy fix and that he'd be back in a day or two to fix it. 4 days go by and I don't hear anything from them. I called and they hadn't purchased the part or done anything further. Then they said that although the repair was covered by my warranty, they would require an additional $220 dollars to lift the tub and then grout it to the ground. The tub is not attached to the ground and is quite light, I can lift it myself. They refused to do the work, even though it was covered by warranty, without an additional $220 out of my pocket. I offered to move the tub myself but they refused. I would never work with them again!

I don't know why my experience with this company was so bad. Because I came to Yelp to FIND a plumber.
What I got was RIPPED OFF. The 'large one' spent a good amount of time telling me of all the large companies in Tucson that they were the exclusive plumbers for. The 'tall one' put on latex gloves and stood around. Made me feel there was some reason he didn't want to leave finger prints???? I needed a $5.00 washer for my bathroom sink. They charged me a $95.00 service call. My sink washer cost me $105.00!!! Three weeks later; guess what???? My sink is leaking. I never actually saw the washer--- for all I know he just tighten something so it would stop for a time...... STAY AWAY FROM THESE TWO SHADY DUDES. They took advantage of me, chances are they will do the same to you.

I needed a new shut off valve under my sink. It was leaking water when I tried to turn it off due to a leaky faucet. It was thirty years old. When they came Michael went on for five minutes on that a Valve was fifteen dollars each and the small braided lines were fifteen dollars each also. and how he made no money off it. It was at cost. Home Depot has them for five and ten each. I had to tell him to change the other thirty year old valve under that sink also for precautionary reasons. He would not have done it otherwise. They did not seem honest and way too expensive.

Micheal was at my neighbor's house and we happened to have a plumbing issue as well. Only time a plumber at the house next door turns into our good luck. He was able to resolve our issue too, quickly, professionally and no more leaking water. Call Agile Plumbing! I know we will.

We had an emergency situation on a weekend (water line break on a shared well line). We brought another emergency plumber out first. Big mistake! They showed up without any tools and without any supplies. We then called Agile plumbing and wish we had called them first. Michael understood our situation, sympathized, offered multiple proposed Solutions, and then showed up on time as promised. He fixed the problem, and followed up the next day to ensure that everything was working well. I would highly recommend Michael and his company!

I contacted Agile Plumbing for a second opinion on a sewer line repair due to roots infiltrating the line. They also found an offset that could have presented a backup as well. They had to take extra care to dig deep due to other plumbing above the sewer line. They also found another line tied into the sewer that they didn't charge us for the extra parts and labor, as well as addressing a problem inside the house with the water pressure too low causing the pipes to vibrate throughout the house, fixed at all no extra charge Mike's quote was competitive with the other guys and took extra care to make sure that the job was done with the utmost care. The crew was very professional and friendly, answering all my concerns along the way. In the end I was extremely satisfied.
