You don't ever want to hire this Plumbing and Drain Service! Minor repair in the bathtub faucet, which just needed to change the valve stem and handle. The faucet had been leaking. They came out the next day and when I showed Eduardo what was wrong, I asked how much and he called his boss to find out the price. I nearly feel off my feet when he said it would be $375!!

They never want to give a quote on the phone or ahead of time, they claim they must see it and then they quote you. But to change a valve stem that only costs about $20 at Home Depot, doesn't mean that you have to pay a fortune to get the labor part of it done. I told Eduardo that he can tell his boss that I won't need their services at that ridiculous price!

We have a 58 year old house and over the years have been experiencing slow draining and back-ups in the two bathrooms (toilets, tub, shower and sinks). This time the back-up was really bad. Water would not go down. Contacted my plumber but found out he had moved out of the area. Called a couple of companies my son worked with but they were too busy to come out. I got on Yelp and did my research and contacted AR-Chula Vista Plumbing and Drain Service. Fernando (the owner) answered my call right away and was out to the house that afternoon. He did a thorough evaluation of the situation. He was very meticulous on tracing the sewer lines and utilizing the camera to look inside the pipes. Turned out we needed all the sewer pipes replaced from the bathrooms to the street. A huge job we obviously were not expecting. Fernando was very professional and explained in detail what was going to happen during the repairs. He is very personable and easy to communicate with and stayed in contact with us throughout the entire job. He has the best crew! They prepped both the inside and outside of the house which was a challenge at times because there was a major rain storm that hit for about 3 days. They put up pop-up tents and tarps and ensured things were cleaned up every day. I have found my plumbing company and highly recommend that you contact them for all your plumbing needs.

They came to repair a leak and did a great restoration that repaired water damage. Also found underground deteriorated drains and sewer pipes. Complete bathroom update repaired and restored all damaged flooring. Now everything is done and way better than new. Thanks to Fernando and crew.

Had a gas line leak and these guys were the only ones, of the three places I called, to be able to actually show up the same day, give me a reasonable price and start the repairs the same day. Even though it was a two day repair process, I was able to use my gas stove that same evening that I called. So I really appreciated that. The workers were all super friendly and helpful and I would definitely use them again.

I have used 4 different plumbers and I'm used to being cheated so I waited to post this review. I've been cheated extensively by Bill Howe plumbing and Elite Router! so I'm super cynical. This company has been fair efficient and decent. My tenant's toilet kept clogging. ARS came and sold me some $1500 drain flushing extravaganza that I was and still am doubtful that I actually needed. That said, it did not fix the problem so I did not need that $1500 ""fix"" . However here is why the 5 stars. Since that expensive Fix that didn't work, I have had ARS out here 4 or 5 times including night and weekend emergency . They have come without question and without charge. In other words they stood behind their work. The workers are clean and polite. I'm especially pleased with Cole and Scott and Bill. They've been super helpful and I don't feel that the other than the $1500 sewer flushing that I didn't need, they don't try to shove other alleged phony expensive fixes on me. I would also add that the receptionists and dispatchers are helpful and efficient and polite. They keep me apprised of the appointment status and go out of their way to be helpful. I might change my review in time but right now no one is more surprised than me that I'm giving them 5 stars. I'm 75 and a woman -- I'm used to getting cheated but I actually am pretty happy with this company although I still doubt I needed the $1500 drain flush.

Hired to uncap a sealed gas line for hooking up a new clothes dryer. Arrived quickly after the dryer was delivered and completed the installation despite the dryer missing a neccessary adapter for the gas line.

Undependable. Said they would be at my home in two hours. I booked the appointment but continued to search for a plumber that could show up sooner. Got someone after about 45 mins. ARS' plumber called four hours later saying they were on their way. I said don't bother. Off my list and will never use them again.
