I requested them to come out to help fix a new thermostat I had. They were the ones who had the soonest availability and also charged a fairly reasonable rate. The day they arrived, my water heater blew and was leaking water everywhere, and they were nice enough to help me disconnect the water from the water heater as well as drain it for me so it would stop spewing water (and they didn't even charge me for that!). He fitted the thermostat for me and also connected the power wire in the attic so that it would have power. He was on time (exactly on time) and finished up quick and was very kind, courteous and quick. He also didn't mind me hanging around asking questions and happily answered everything. He wore shoe covers so as not to soil my carpet and was nice enough to wash his hands before working on my brand new thermostat. The last guy (not from this company) who came left his hand prints all over my crawl space door and wall, so I was glad that he was careful with that.

I requested a couple of quotes for plumbers to replace my garbage disposal. Most quotes either used basic disposals or their install rates were very high (or worst, both). But Frank from After Hours called me and told me his hourly rate and told me to pick out a disposal I would like and he would install it.

In the end I got the type of disposal I wanted and a transparent, competitive rate for the install. A win-win for all parties.

Frank was very prompt for the appointment, friendly, and finished the job in a very timely manner, right within his original estimates. I would definitely recommend him and plan to use him again on future projects.

We have been dying of heat for two days because our AC broke. I messaged After Hours last night, and got a response almost immediately. They were able to come today to take a look at our system. They are responsive, fast, and honest. Best of all, they were on time. It's myself to be a really silly problem and an easy fix, but nonetheless their service is great. Thank you, After Hours. We are now calm and cool again.

So for last 24 hours I have been without running water in my home. I had a toilet waterline pipe burst in the bathroom and that was not fun. I called my warranty AMERICAN HOME SHIELD that evening, which were useless since it was an URGENT matter and they could not do anything until next morning. They were finding different plumbers the following morning that work with my problem since I have a Mobile Home. After Hours was unavailable the day that it happened which is understandable since it was in the evening. In the mean time, AHS was still locating a plumber for me with no luck. Then a company called to say they will do it and they are AHS approved. When we spoke, I specifically asked that they have the parts since it was a little different from home parts. I didn't want to waste eachothers time by having them go all the way to my home to just find out that they cannot fix it. After they checked, they called back to say they don't have the parts and therefore cannot FIX the problem. That happened 2 times from different plumbers before I was fed up and I needed water in the home ASAP. So I called After Hours back the same morning and spoke to Frank. I explained to him the situation as I did 3 times to others that day. He said he'll come by the afternoon to see what he can do. He came as promised and REPAIRED the pipes. He was friendly and very thorough in explaining what he was going to do and how. He was the HERO for me and my family. Water circulating around the home felt good again. I just hope if anyone is in this situation, they come out of this satisfied as I was when After Hours came to the rescue. It's sad that these BIG name companies can't accommodate something that seems to be their forte. I would recommend After Hours again. He gave me his business card and saw he also does heating and AC. I hope I don't need him at all but you never know. Repairs are inevitable but I do know who to call. He came back the next morning to make sure everything was good and no more leaks. Who does that?
