Company Overview

As an independent business, Affordable Trenchless & Pipe Lining boasts more than 20 years of experience in all facets of residential, commercial, and municipal plumbing. Selecting our services means the owner is engaged in every aspect of your plumbing needs.

Over 20 years ago, I started in plumbing with my father. We began with small plumbing fixes. In 1998, I decided to start my own venture to take on more significant plumbing tasks. I have been steadily growing my business ever since. My father is still active in the plumbing industry as well.

As time has passed, I have ensured that I remain current with the newest plumbing innovations. We provide various trenchless solutions, including pipe bursting, CIPP lining, and line boring.

We engage in subcontracting work with other plumbing companies. At present, we work alongside various plumbing contractors on a consistent basis. You won’t have to worry about us trying to attract your customers.

I do not engage in much advertising since referrals drive most of my work. This strategy allows us to maintain lower prices. We steer clear of gimmicks such as ""Lowest price"" or ""We will beat any price"". We focus on delivering a complete and fair price. In most situations, we adhere to a No Change Order Policy. You will know the total cost of the job before we begin.

We have established our customer base through our reputation and dedication. We take pride in performing only the necessary work.

Our team consists of two service technicians, a laborer, my wife Karen Petersen, who manages the office and schedules jobs, and myself, Ryan Petersen. I oversee the majority of sewer line pulls and lining tasks. Yes, the owner works directly in the field.

When I’m not working, which is rare, I enjoy bass fishing or camping with my wife and our two labs.

I have made an offer and need inspections done on an older home (1938) in Sacramento. I was really worried about the sewer line as there is a mammoth tree in the front of home right near where the lines would be. The crew showed up, Found no cleanout access, went up on roof and started a video inspection of line. He explained every step, took time out to show me elbows, slight buildup, different types of pipe, and prognosis. I got an education, ease of mind, and honesty at an unexpectedly super low price.
The bid came back to add the cleanout/cleaning and I thought they left out zeros, but i was wrong. Super affordable and obvious experts in their field. I will let you know how the cleanout install and cleaning go but from what I have seen so far, I would go with no-one else.

I seldom write on line reviews for people I use myself, refer and recommend as often as Ryan at Affordable Plumbing. I always assume that the fact that they work repeatedly for me and my clients is sufficient thanks but in this case I think an exception is in order.

As a Realtor who specializes in old homes I frequently need a plumber I trust to come out and camera sewer lines for me or my clients. Often times these reports lead to nothing more than peace of mind knowing there are no issues. Occasionally however they point to the need for further repairs or replacement. It is here where Affordable Plumbing and Ryan Peterson shine the brightest.

They are almost without fail spot on in their recommendations, offer a variety of options to address the issue and seem to take genuine delight in satisfying me and my customers. Repairing plumbing and sewer lines is certainly not a glamorous job, but try working with some of the other companies whose reports I've read and you will certainly appreciate the honesty and integrity of the crew at Affordable Plumbing.

I highly recommend Affordable Plumbing, I have a list of satisfied customers that do as well. Five stars only because they wont let me give them six!

They were recommend by a past client and all I can say is STAY AWAY. Ryan does not return phone calls and when I called the office I was informed he was really busy. That works for a day or two but after several days and calls into Ryan I can honestly say I would never use this company nor would I let him do any work on any of the other properties I own. If you want an honest and reliable plumber stay away from this one.

I called this company on Tuesday morning because they were local in Carmichael and I needed help asap, my system was backing up everywhere.
The lady that answered the phone listen to my problems and advised me to call the County first because a lot of times their pipes are blocked. She was right, this saved me a lot of money and she followed up later to make sure I was taken care of.
Thank you for your honesty I will recommend your company to everyone I know.

Ryan came out to our place on a Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. That morning we were greeted with garbage disposal debris and standing water in our tub. After he snaked both the tub and the kitchen line, he explained the situation thoroughly, and then cleaned up after himself. he was in and out, with the problem solved, in under 45 mins. Super professional and down to earth kinda guy. Highly recommend him and his company for residential as well as commercial work.

These guys were awesome. Another plumbing service tried to up sell me huge home fixes i did not need at a really high price. Thank goodness i decided to get some bids, found Affordable Trenchless on Yelp. They came out, were on time, explained the real problem to me, and ended up saving me $$$. They came out after the initial consultation to fix what was wrong, once again on time, respectful of my home, efficient, and fairly priced. I now have a better understanding of my home plumbing needs and they solved my current plumbing problems. I'm sticking with these guys.

Ryan came out to check water spouting out main line after the water company. All he did was tighten something that took less than 10min. He was so nice, did not need anything else. He said no charge!! I thanked him and said I will call you again if I need plumbing fixed!

ATPL is an awesome company!! The owner, Ryan, came over to my house on the Saturday before Easter to look at the problem I was having with leaking pipes under my house. Ryan gave me a very fair quote and assured me he and his crew would be back on Monday to do the job. True to his word, he and his crew got to my house fixed a sewage pipe that was leaking. The crawl space is in my bedroom; not a spec of mud or water was brought into the house. ATPL is honest, does fast and efficient work, affordable, and HONEST! I highly recommend ATPL!!

I'm a local Realtor. My client and I had an appointment with this company for a mid morning time frame with about an hour window. Toward the end of the window my client started calling the office to confirm that they would be keeping the appointment. They said yes but he was ""in traffic"" and would be delayed. Ryan, the owner finally arrived on scene with his helper. They were almost an hour later than the end of the window for the appt.
This is where things get better. We were in South Land Park. Ryan explained that his last appt was in Woodland and there had been a traffic issue on I-5 near the airport. He was very sincere and obviously cared about the fact that we had been waiting. He promised he would make it right. They set about their job and quickly identified exactly where a clogged main sewer line was and the cost to repair. When it came time to pay he said ""No Charge"", sorry I was late. All he asked was when the repair is scheduled to be done he would like the opportunity to come back and do the work. He promised it would be an On Time appointment. What more can you ask for?
