Highly recommended! I had another company come out to clear a pipe and was told a portion of the pipe would need to be replaced and the cost would be over $5000. I contacted Affordable Trenchless and made an appointment the following day. Ryan inspected my line and told me I did not need to replace anything and was able to clear it within 30 minutes. Can't say enough about Ryan at Affordable Trenchless. I had another company snake my mothers clogged sewer line. Company recommended an $800 hydro jet and possibly a multi thousand dollar bursting would be needed. I called Affordable Trenchless and Ryan came out first thing the next morning. Ryan informed me that he thought the sewer line was likely a line that the City of Sacramento was responsible for, and that I should call 311 and the city would check, before hiring someone to repair. I called and the city came out two hours later and confirmed they were in fact responsible for the line. The city hydrojetted and chain cleaned the line all the way from the street to my clean out - FOR NO CHARGE. For what it's worth, the city crew that came out knew who Ryan was and had nothing but good to say.

I don't post reviews, but my experience with Affordable Trenchless and Ryan's knowledge and honesty cannot go unmentioned. Seriously, don't waste your time with others!

Ryan, from Affordable, is a very knowledgeable, considerate and honest plumber. During our remodeling, our toilet plumbing was backing up into the tub. Our general contractor sent a plumbing company over and they snaked and camera snaked our cleanout pipe. They showed us how the pipe was snapped in two at two places and how the sides of the pipe were deteriorating. The estimate was $30,000. But they checked with their boss and he was willing to give us a huge discount of $12,000 cuz we're such nice people. Hmm... red flag!
I called Affordable and Ryan came out the next morning, camera snaked the pipe. Nothing cracked or broken. The triangular diverter was clogged. He unclogged it.
What an honest, trustworthy person! And very nice, too!
I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB about the other company. Beware! Before agreeing to spend thousands of dollars, do a yelp and BBB search on the company!
If I can get the video from Affordable, I will update this review to show what the actual problem/clog was.

I purchased a new home and hired this company to do the sewer inspection. They use the latest technology to inspect the full length of the sewer pipe and even posted the video online so I could see it. They discovered a huge break in the line and did a fantastic job replacing the broken portion. They did a great job returning the landscaping back to the original state after they completed the repair as well as cleaned up all around the area by cleaning off the driveway and returning everything to its original location. The repaired area developed a sink hole with all the rains. I was worried I would have to pay extra for the backfill, but they guarantee their work and came out to assess and repair right of way, free of charge. Super pleased with this company! Fast and honest. Good quality work. Great crew.

I wish there were more stars to give. The world needs more people like Ryan. He gave me an honest evaluation of my sewer concluding that I didn't need any work. Whereas the other companies were trying to nickel and dime me quoting me 15k for a sewer line that didn't actually need to be replaced.

So refreshing to have an honest person out there.

The estimate process was very fast and easy. I didn't even need to be home for it. They weren't ""salesy"" which I really appreciated. They gave us the best price on top of being the most appealing company to work with. They were the only estimate we got that included a city inspection which put my mind at ease. They lined our root-riddled, 1930's clay sewer pipe in a just a few hours and we were back up and running in no time. I hope we never need another sewer repair... but I will gladly recommend them to others!

I don't write many reviews. In fact I'm skeptical about reviews in general. I've waited to see the results of the work done by Affordable Trenchless. Everything promised has been delivered.
We had a major blockage of our sewer pipe in September that connected to the city main caused by tree roots. Ryan--the owner--came out and scoped all our pipes and promptly found the blockage. He also found a another small leak in one of our other pipes that would eventually need to be replaced by an 8' section of new pipe. He told us all other pipes under the house were in good shape.
That was just the opposite verdict of 3 other well-advertised companies who gave us a dire repair and replace scenario costing $12,000 minimum and potentially thousands more.
We decided on Affordable Trenchless. The crew finished the main and the other pipe repair in 2 days, but made sure we had service that first night. The City inspected without incident. The total bill came to $6500. There was no padding the bill AND NO EXTRA WORK THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE DONE.
While that was a lot of money for us, it was far under the other well-known companies. Honesty and competence. You get both with Affordable Trenchless.

In my profession I have to call on plumbers for sewer inspections on a regular basis. It is not always my decision which company is used for these inspections. I have had experience with other companies in the past and have been left with mediocre to poor results. When Affordable Trenchless is called for the job I know the inspector will be on-time, will explain the sewer scope in detail, the sewer line will be recorded for my client(s) to view at a later time, and if there are any issues they will provide a quote and make themselves available within short notice to make sure the issue is managed as the client requests. The inspectors are are always courtesy, and the office staff friendly on the phone. I have been calling on Affordable Trenchless for their services for about 5-6 years now and I will continue to do so in the future.
