I called an made an appt last Wednesday for my Septic to be pumped, they scheduled me for That Saturday. Saturday came and no one showed. I called around 2 pm and they said they didn't have an appt for me. They apologized, but I just didn't understand the issue. When I make an appt and schedule my weekend around it, that wastes my whole weekend. I wouldn't reschedule with them.

I called and asked how much for a septic tank to be pumped. It was $295. So i made the appointment. Owners son and worker came out and found tank and lids. Son had to leave but the worker dug up the water side lid. He took care to carefully remove flowers and mulch around the solid lid before digging. He removed water side lid and looked inside. I was told it looked good. The septic truck got there and they then removed the solid side lid. I was then told that it was above capacity and there would be an extra $200 charge for it. Then i was told there were roots on the top and that would be an extra $200 for that. I was, however, unable to see the roots he was talking about. It jiggled when touched appearing soft and not a hard root layer that he said he would have to """"break up the top layer"""" and thats extra. I did not see them breaking up anything. When asked if they would have to pull the roots out they said no it just gets sucked up too. So i never saw them. They pumped the solid side but replaced the liquid side without placing the hose in that side. When asked why he didn't they said they didn't have to, that doing the solid side would take care of it due to the open slots in the tank. I called the company asking if they do both sides and they said yes they do. I stated i just had my tank pumped by them and they did not put the hose in the other side and it was not pumped. He very quickly resolved the issue and took care of the situation and had the guys come back out and pump the other side. They then replaced the lid and dirt and left everything neat and in order. A small refund was given for the trouble. I am thankful I was there to watch the service being done otherwise I would have never known!

(A few small complaints at the end) Good price for the industry. Charged me $425 for basic maintenance pump, including filter cleaning and basic visual inspection. Kira, their sole customer service rep was polite. Lead technician, James, was polite and pleasant to work with. They communicated clearly up front what to expect and they didn't do any extra work without first discussing. They completed the job in under an hour. Only complaints: Kira completely forgot to schedule us when we spoke the week prior. I called the day of the appointment wondering where they were. She was very apologetic, and after the call, technicians showed up less than an hour later. I did appreciate their rush over. Secondly, an undisclosed """"processing charge"""" of 4% was added to my final bill, increasing it to $443. Still a decent price, but it did not feel nice to be surprised with it when I asked several times in conversations with Kira and James whether I should expect any other fees, and the response being """"no."""" Overall a very good experience, (much better than Simply Septic, which was a joke) and would recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you for the good work, guys.

Th is place has the most sorry people working for them they came out and scamed me and not even a week later my system backed up had to call another company to come out and the guy that did mine did not clean the filter so it backed up as far as the owner he is a good guy he just need to get people that are honest and not crooks

Nice enough people, but make sure you get a FULL estimate before work begins. I was quoted one price, and then half way through the job I was told it would be almost double (hundreds of dollars over the initial estimate). They did not contact me first before proceeding with the work, so I got stuck with a bill that I would not have agreed upon before work began. Also, they had to postpone the first job because they could not find the tank, after I told them I could help locate it if needed. Proceed with caution.

After calling another company and being told that I would have to dig up my tank myself, a friend suggested I call Affordable Septic and I'm ever so glad I did! Super nice, super professional, awesome company, I would recommend them for your septic tank problems. Right on time, fixed the issue, brought my tank up to code and didn't break the bank!
