We've used Hector / Affordable Rooting at two properties and referred him to friends. He's always left us and our friends happy and with a job well done. Although the company name is Affordable Rooting, they do a wide range of plumbing tasks. For us, he's done the usual rooting / unclogging, re-lined a sewer pipe, replumbed all my supply lines, replaced toilets, and added hose spigots in the yard.

Hector and his hard working Team showed up right away and got on the job immediately. I had to replace all my very old and corroded cast iron pipes. I had quotes from other places but they were the best and they did a complete thorough job. I am so happy with there service that I decided to give a review because they were very professional and hard working especially when they ran into some problems under the foundation. They took care of it without having to bust out the kitchen floor which would have been a real headache. Anyway we will got to them from now on for any kind of plumbing issues. They showed up FAST, were very professional and I am keeping them as my ""go to"" plumber in the future. As a side note, my previous high-end Manhattan Beach plumber finally returned my call I left with their answering service and I told them I was somewhat impatient and had to solve the problem ASAP and had called another plumber that was on their way. In the conversation, though, they mentioned their ""after hours"" price and it was twice that of Affordable! I didn't call Affordable because of pricing (it was because I read good reviews on Yelp) but the price difference was a great bonus!

My bad plumbing experience. I called Affordable plumbing. I told the lady what was wrong and she said she would have the plumber call me back to give me an estimate. So, he called me back but couldn't do an estimate over the phone per him. One thing I needed was some new pipes and a p trap under my kitchen sink. It is 49 for them to come look at it. So I said ok. He said the p trap would be over 100 for that plus replacing maybe 5 small pipes. He quoted me over 300.00. Also, I have a pipe that sheared in the tub at the drain. He wanted to cut a few holes in my walls to find the leak even though I told him where it was and that it has happened before. He said it might not be that. Ok, he is right, but wanting to cut 75 dollars a hole was just ridiculous and as he said he would need a few. He wanted to start behind the shower spout and not go under the house and check that pipe real quick. HUH! That price just for cutting 3 holes is 225 and that doesn't include any parts for the tub or labor for the other work. I told him way too much. No way am I paying that much. So I gave him his check for 49 and sent him on his way. Beware.. Update. Had another plumber come out who thought the price was ridiculous and a ripoff . 25.00 in parts. 100 labor

I've been looking for a great reliable and honest plumber, so I turned to Yelp. I've used Affordable Rooter Plumbing on three different occasions. My first experience was to replace the main sewage line for two of my rental properties. Hector and his team did a great job and for a great price. I since used him two other times, once at my home and another time for one of my rentals.
I can't speak more highly of Hector. He's reliable, honest and affordable! If you're looking for a great plumber, look no further. Hector is my go to plumber.

Hector and his team were great! They were fast, efficient and professional. We had a drainage problem with old leaky pipes and the team took care of all of that and was able to point out additional problems and take care of those as well. I am very happy with the service. Highly recommended.

We obtained previous quotes from others, for $2,500.00 and even $4000.00 for an issue that we actually did not have. Hector came out 02/17/14, located the issue and charged us a fraction of what we were quoted by others. He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced in handling our issue .
