After discovering that our kitchen sink was clogged on a Monday morning, we called Affordable Quality Plumbing that evening. First thing Tuesday morning, Mike was on the job - professionally and efficiently, he took care of the issue we had. Mike did an outstanding job.
We will definitely use Affordable Quality Plumbing for any plumbing issue we may have in the future and highly recommend them to our friends, family, and community.

I had to have a gas pressure test done on my home in order to sell it. I called late on a Thursday afternoon and spoke to Eve, who was very kind, polite and very professional. I was quoted a price for the test, which was considerably less than other companies in the area. I had a few questions and was transferred to Ken, who also was very polite and professional and explained the details of the testing. They went out the same day and I got a call early afternoon the next day and the test was completed and they were taking care of all the permits etc.

I would highly recommend this company and will use them again with out hesitation.

AQP replaced our 4 inch sewer line, here on Sagevalley St., from the front of the house all the way to the City Main Line in the back of our yard. They hand dug the line in Texas gumbo in one day and replaced the line and three cleanout spouts the second day. We felt the price was reasonable. All their employees seemed well qualified. They got it done and our yard looks good after all was completed on the third day. They are in Pearland on Longwood (281-482-1900)

Communication not the best. Would have given them 5 stars before today.

Had excavated for inlet line leak, turned water off, and crew left without a word on a Saturday. Took two hours for someone to call back.

Assured me someone would be out today. We'll see.

Do not under any circumstances use this company. They are not affordable. They have no trip charge, however, when they get there the gentlemen informed me that their minimum repair charge is $189.00. In my case that was for just 10 - 15 minutes. They literally soldered one copper tube together. I have used other plumbing companies in the past and they were much cheaper. I used them this time since they were close by; what a mistake. Never, never again. Please don't use these people you will be sorry and your pockets will get cleaned out. You can do a lot better than these folks. Don't do business here!

Called them for an emergency plumbing issue over 24 hours ago. They told me my scheduled time and that I'd hear from someone. I never heard so I called back an hour after my time. They said we will figure out the issue and get someone to call you quickly. Well still haven't heard! Luckily I called someone else and they were here within an hour!

Toilet leaked at bottom of the bowl. Bad gasket.
Plumber talked the wife into an entirely new ballcock that it didn't need for over two hundred. Put in a $13 one and it sticks so it doesn't refill the bowl after a flush. I will go buy a good one and put it in myself. It's sad that it seems every industry feels they need to take advantage of Ladys.
It's an easy job, so live and learn.

wow! After MONTHS of trying to resolve the problem of a toilet constantly plugging up with another company, I called AQP. The gentleman that answered the phone actually listened to me, (even though I am female and couldn't possible know what I was talking about) asked intelligent questions, and then.... sent out a master plumber within the hour! Voila! it was not a clog, (which I knew), but was a water flow problem (which I suspected)

John R, you are the bomb! Replaced the toilet, repaired what needed to be repaired, cleaned up his mess, and was so professional!

Gerald and Scott originally came to my house to replace our old and broken water heater. Their quote was very competitive, and most likely the best quote in town! While they were here working, I had them look at our outside water main junction box in the front yard. I had just noticed it was submerged in water earlier that morning. Sure enough, we had a leak! They easily quoted yet another very competitive price for that repair. When both projects were all done, I was shocked at the overall quality of work, the knowledge of the technicians, their amazing professionalism, and the politeness of their personalities. I will never call another plumbing company again! Do I recommend Affordable Quality Plumbing? YES! In fact, I recommend no one else! Thanks for the single best plumbing experience I have ever had, in all of the 5 houses that I have owned and lived in these past 20 years! God Bless Gerald and Scott! Have a great day!

The only reason I gave this plumbing service 3 stars is because the journeyman plumber was very nice and explained how to fix several things myself. My ex-husband works in construction and informed me ahead of time how much my plumbing needs should cost, and my overall impression of this company is that they charge way tooooo much. I needed a less than $5 part to fix a problem with a faucet outside, and the company wanted $178 to put an adapter and tape on the outside faucet. I didn't know that was the repair was until after the plumber did it. I was very upset when I saw that it was way too simple to cost soooo much. I asked about many things in my home. There were several small items that added up to be very, very overly priced and expensive - over $700. I ended up using the company to install a toilet ( and fix - put an adapter on the outside faucet), but they charged about double the price that should be reasonable. I only accepted the high price because I did not have a working toilet, and it was hard to function at my home without a working toilet. I don't know if the prices are because of I was working with a journeyman, and everything was an outright price no hourly charge. Again, the journeyman was very, very nice and explained how to fix most of the other things, so the overall price was worth it in the end because I paid too much for the service, but I also paid for advice and explanations on the other plumbing needs. All in all everything balanced out.
