We have only good things to say about Kerry Harris and his business, Affordable Plumbing. We have been using him at our house for about eight or nine projects (or repairs) over the past eleven years and have never been anything less that pleased with the quality of his work, his prices (they are fair!) and his friendly (yet professional) attitude. He knows what he's doing and he shows up on time, gets the job done and cleans up when he's done.

Several years ago we referred our neighbors down the street to him, and they are the ones this time to ask me to give Affordable Plumbing a shout-out on Yelp. They were having a new washer and dryer installed in their garage, and Kerry came to raise the water supply valves to the correct height and install a device to prevent water hammer. They also have hired Kerry many times in the past and are quite satisfied with him as a plumber.

Our toilet was leaking from poor workmanship during our bathroom remodel. My wife complained about an odor coming from the toilet. Really? I could not imagine an odor coming from a toilet... There was a leak though, so I took to social media to locate a plumber. I was referred to Kerry from my neighbors on Nextdoor. He arrived on time and was very professional. Called Kerry at 8:40 yesterday morning. We had blocked toilets and sewage seeping into the tubs.
My husband spoke to Kerry and explained the situation. He said he had a job he was on his way too, but would come later in the afternoon. We were surprised to see Kerry at our door before 11. He spent a little time with us evaluating the problem and discussed with us the options... We agreed that we needed a complete clean out of the system. Kerry thankfully squeezed my plumbing problem into his evening tonight for me. I found him on yelp and gave it a long shot that I could get him out here tonight. No toilets and a bath and a shower full of water, I knew I needed professional help. He showed up right after another job and got to work. It took an hour and a half to clear my sewer line of tree roots. Kerry is very professional and cleared my problem up for me ASAP. He even told me how to keep the roots of of my line by going to Orchard and buying root kill to clear my line for the future. I do need to add a clean out drain and he told me where to put it and what steps would be needed to get that started. I will definitely call Kerry again.

We hired Kerry based on recommendations of our neighbors, we were not disappointed. We has some issues with minor leaks in our home and he was able to come out on a Saturday on short notice. He arrived when he said he would, and kept me in the loop.

After we decided on the work to be done and the approx. cost he got to work quickly. He was even considerate enough to remove his shoes when working inside our home.

The next day we noticed a small leak on something he repaired. We called him up and he was back at our home within a few hours to repair it!

I highly recommend Kerry and will be using him for my future plumbing needs!
