Not a fan. They will upsell you unnecessarily, not get the job done correctly the first 3 or 4 times (and I've had them at two different houses: same both times) and when they schedule the ""fixes"" it literally takes them HOURS longer to get there than they say. For example, at 8am this morning I got a call saying the tech was leaving for my house. At the very most, it takes 2 hours to get here. It's been 3.5 hours. This happens EVERY TIME and there is zero consideration that others might have to do a little something called WORK.

My very expensive upsell still is not functioning properly and now I have to reschedule because I have to go to work to pay for all this headache.

We requested a technician familiar with a Slant/Fin boiler. Cartwright's did not send one. It took 3 trips to diagnose and replace a damper. It felt like false advertising and we are left holding the rather large bill. The manager was unsympathetic. I would in no way recommend these folks. Nice tech guys, bad management.

Make sure you get a price from them before you book the appointment. They charged me $270 just to show up. The serviceman did nothing other than flush my toilet and tell me it was fine and charge me $270! I stupidly didn't ask beforehand what their service fee was. Never again!

I hope their actual service is better than their customer service. We had an appt scheduled two weeks out, knowing there was a $80 service charge. Day of, their service fee changed to $200 and they said they were too busy and didn't realize our address. ZERO customer service, by far the rudest we've come across.

I had similar issues with Cartwright's Plumbing Heating & Cooling as has been outlined in many reviews. They told me that Cartwright's was skilled at repairing my specific kind of heating unit, but the technician that showed up clearly did not have an inkling on how to repair it. I ended up being charged $226 for lighting a pilot light which went out again within 48 hours. When I called to see if they would be willing to rectify the situation, they just said, ""So sorry you feel that way."" This lack of customer service will not help the business flourish. I would definitely NOT recommend these people to repair even the most simple of systems.

Way overcharged for a simple fix. Toilet needed a new valve and flapper, guy was gone almost an hour to get the part and we got charged for the time he was gone. Outrageous. $350 an hr. Really? That doesn't include the part.
So for a simple fix, which they said was a ""minor rebuild"" We're out $500.
This place is terrible, do not use. Should have read the reviews before calling. Beware.

Be worried. Be very very worried if you must use these people. They were called to provide an A/C, FAU whole system upgrade.
They provided a day and time. Then proceeded to be late by hours. My day was lost.
Then they supply an estimate ""Between 20k-30K"". Followed up days later by a written estimate of 27K.
I call several competitors. Same scope of work and description. First bid arrives at 11k, the second at 9k. Same suggested hardware and required labor.
Do you want to trust these people when a bid is that remote to the general estimates? Either technically or ethically?

Well....where to start??? Called Cartwright's for a estimate. Simple undersink 2.5 gallon hot water heater replacement. My old one went out. It has a 110V AC plug, no wiring needed. Cold water in, hot water out, 2 hoses. Less then 10 pounds. They gave me an ESTIMATE with AN ATTITUDE: $1,500!!!!! $249.00 per hour for 3 hours for ""plumber"". A ""helper"" for $149.00 AN HOUR, UNLICENSED!!!! $300 for a $175 water heater??!!!!

THESE ""Guys"" that showed up were RUDE and FULL of ATTITUDE!! I asked for better price, HE REFUSED!!!!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY....!!!!! The 5 Star reviews they received are ""questionable""???
