EXCELLENT! We needed someone to replace our old broken PVC pipes with proper metal pipes for our garage utility sink. I called several plumbers who never called back before I called Affordable Plumbing & Drain; I should have called them first! Craig immediately answered, understood and said they can do the job very soon. Lane and Andy came right on time, quickly and expertly replaced the old pipes with new ones and made sure everything was perfect. The price was more than fair and the service was the best! Knowledgable, friendly, fast and fair! Highly recommended!

Top notch service at less than half the price of their competitor. Workers were extremely courteous and respectful of my home. They replaced my kitchen faucet this morning as old fitting was leaking. I had just called them yesterday, so response was prompt. They showed up with the right parts in hand and completed the job smoothly, in a short amount of time.

As the name implies, they are reasonably priced. Yet, service and work quality are still top notch.

Absolutely amazing service. Lane and Andy did great work installing a new water heater into a very tight closet. They were professional and did great work. They were even able to give me an hour in between taking out the old tank and putting in a new one. That way, I could patch a bunch of holes in the closet.

Highly recommend. They are our new go-to plumbers in Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and beyond.

Lane at Affordable Plumbing did a fabulous job fixing the leak in a shut-off valve that had been geysering near our barn. I have never encountered a more competent and personable plumber, and his rate was very reasonable. One of the fittings he installed was defective so he had to drive back to town to purchase a new one. He then redid the job and didn't charge me for the redo. He was committed to doing it right.

Ok so my mother kitchen sink lost pressure and I called several Plummers none of them could come that day. I kept searching Affordable tried to walk me through the problem on the phone for free no others even tried that. In thought that was pretty cool of them. When we found a second issue he said sounds like multiple issues that he would come down within a few hours he did fixed everything in just over an hour only charged me for an hour. These people are awesome and fair. Call them up and do yourself a favor.

I have used Affordable Plumbing and Drain multiple times for a variety of issues on my old 1920's house. They have installed a new garbage disposal, installed a permitted gas line for a backyard firepit, figured out why my kitchen sink was leaking and repaired it. Craig, the owner, and his two technicians are polite, courteous, dog/cat/kid friendly, and respectful of my home when they are working here. I always find that they take the time to explain things to me in a way that I understand.
They are old-school--paper invoices and honest workers with integrity. I'm a service business owner in Santa Cruz myself so my standards are very high.

I've never needed them for an emergency, so I can't speak to that part of their business, but for my needs they have been great!

I called this guy and I described my problem and what I needed done. It was a couple bathtub drains I needed replaced in a mobile home. He said he might have time to come by that afternoon to check it out. He said I could send pics so I did with details of what he was looking at just so he can have an idea. He never replied back. I texted him back a couple times through the day saying to let me know if he can do it or not. The texts said ""read"" so I know he read all of them, but never bothered to call me back. Pretty unprofessional and rude to not take a second to respond. If you don't want to help then at least have the common courtesy to text back and tell me..
