We called Saul about a complete system check on our irrigation system. We had lost a lot of great plants over the winter & before we replaced them we wanted working lines & heads. Our gardener is good at many things, but not at keeping sprinklers working. Saul was excellent and reasonably priced. He spent the time we needed. We had a drainage issue due to all the rain this winter and he came back & cleared the drains with little fuss & left everything perfect with no mess. What really truly makes him special is the excellent way he handled my cuckoo next door neighbour. Something he ended up having to do when I was out of town. Such a great guy! Saul is knowledgable, fast, on time, no fuss, no mess, & great even when your neighbor invents an emergency while you aren't at home!

Saul is experienced and smart. I needed to replace two irrigation valves on my patios. Saul returned my call within hours and came out to diagnose the problem. His price was good. He had to come back twice to complete the project because of the way my unit is situated in our HOA. It turns out our head gardener was completely wrong about which of the various backflows in the area controlled the water to our unit and patios. Saul came back the second time and figured it out on his own no problem. It was two different backflows. Pretty screwy. So, he came out a total of three times and stuck to his price despite the project being more complicated and time consuming than expected. Saul even had to fix wiring in our side yard where the HOA gardeners recently put in new plants and cut the wires running between our Timer on the back patio and and the front patio valve. Saul was always on time, polite, pleasant, neatly dressed and respectful. He always walked the outside route between patios and he cleaned up the areas nicely after the project was completed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Saved the day! Had a sprinkler valve leak that turned into a main water line leak, called two landscape companies, no response, had a plumber out, no help, then I called Saul, he was out within 30 minutes, knew exactly what was wrong, had to turn off the main water from a valve that probably hadn't been touched since 1977 when the place was built. He was able to fix the 3 issues that surfaced and equip the system with a new shut off in case of future needs. Prices were fair and he had it fixed quick. Definitely recommend this company.

It's hard to know who to call when the unexpected flood in your front yard happens! My advice: call Affordable Irrigation and ask for Saul. He is knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. Saul repaired the leak (under a palm tree no less) in less than an hour. His fee was at the low end of what we expected. This job was at Sun City Shadow Hills in Indio.

I just relocated to Rancho Mirage and I have relied on Yelp to find good service companies to take care of all the necessary problems that come with a new older home. My first water bill said I was excessive in usage so after checking everything it out it was pretty clear my irrigation system was failing. Great service from Saul!!! I've had my home in Palm Springs for 5+ years and my plastic irrigation valves always seem to leak. I even had some flooding in my bedroom over 2 years ago from the water pooling up against the side of my home. I had a different irrigation company come out at that time to replace the valves and they told me new plastic ones would fix the problem. Within a couple months the same thing happened. I called Saul and he convinced me that high quality brass valves would fix the problem and prevent it from happening again...at least for 20+ years or more. I love the new valves, they don't leak even a drop. No more soggy soil and weeds growing anymore around the valves. Saul does excellent work, was able to come out within a day and got the work done...very professional. He even gave me some great tips on my desert landscaping since I take care of my own yard and still have a lot to learn. I highly recommend this business!
