The very young inexperienced young man did not do what he said he was going to do. He Only spent 20 minutes in basement supposedly doing a tune up on the gas furnace. He came upstairs and provided a slip with a list of things that he said he did. He did not doing anything. Was very knowledgeable tho, in what a new furnace would cost. Would definitely not recommend this company.

A/C went out on hottest day of week at my 83 year old mother's home. Rob not only answered the phone when I called, he arrived at her address within 90 minutes to fix the issue! I had been trying for 24 hours to connect with someone who might give a window for repair... the company was referred to me by a friend. I will be signing my mother up for annual service and maintenance. Reasonable, responsive and reliable - all the marks to help me keep her in her own home.

They were very prompt to schedule someone to come out and look at an issue I had- that's about the only good thing I can say about them. I knew as soon as the guy arrived he wasn't going to be me helping me and I was right. Without even looking at my unit he told me I needed a new system. He was arrogant and rude and talked down to me for the 30 minutes he was here. As soon as I inquired about the ballpark cost of a new unit he went full sales pitch mode- sleazy car salesman style. All he did was rinse my unit with a hose, plug in his diagnostics and tell me there was nothing he could do other than quote a new unit. I have since worked with another company who has fixed my issue and said I should get at least another 5 years, for less than I was charged for a 30 minute visit. Waste of time and $230. Tip for the company- If you're going to try and incentive your technicians to sell new systems at least give them basic sales training. This kid was clueless.

Upstairs heat zone went out last night (Friday evening) Called Rob, he had someone out the next morning! Furnace is repaired. Heat is working! Repairman was professional and explained what the issues were. Very pleased with the service I received.

They were great. They worked with me thru the Mass state rebate program and completed the gas heating system install in one day. All techs were courteous and could not have been a better installation led by Zach. He explained the operation of the system thoroughly and I was very satisfied.

Our water heater broke late Monday afternoon. The team from Affordable Heating and AC were at my house first thing the next morning. Rob and his son had a new system installed within 90 minutes! They were professional, cleaned up all debris, explained the new system and followed the protocol relating to Covid-19. I was very appreciative of their work and their professionalism. Thank you!

The team was great -- from the quick response to email/calls to the professional estimate, including helping me get a $1000 rebate as well, to the actual installation - everything went super smoothly, and I really appreciate that they were able to make it up to Somerville to install the mini-splits.

The install team walked me through the various units, and made sure that they looked great. I'm very pleased and definitely recommend Affordable Heating & A/C.

I have only wonderful things to say about Affordable- the team is responsive, punctual, and truly cares about their customers. The service technicians were professional. Unlike some other companies in the area, they truly give you the lowest price and are very clear about cost of services. It can be daunting having what feels like strangers in your home, but the Affordable team made me feel at ease. I recommend Affordable to anyone. My experience was wonderful from the call with the co-owner for scheduling my appointment to the actual day of the service.

Called this company out for water heater they sent a tech out who introduced himself as Zach. All Zach did was bad mouth the company. He told me there is no communication between anybody and he has been the only one working. I called the owner Rob to tell him what went on and no repairs were made and Rob went off the rails telling me that was his son. Well I hate to inform him Zach isn't happy and isn't very happy with his company. HIGHLY doubt Zach is his son after the talk Zach had with me , and honestly really dont care both seemed like VERY unhappy people who are not very professional. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
I probably should have looked co.up online before dealing with them. If I had seen the F rating I could have saved myself some aggravation.
