Myself also ran a small family business for many years and I'm all about customer service and reputations. I left an honest review based on my experience with your employees. As a former business owner I understand that you can't 100% control the conducts of your employees when they represent your company and that reliable and trustworthy employees are hard to come by so I do appreciate that you trying to rectify the situation.

Do your homework! I was in a bind and the AC went out during the first few hot days of summer. Had AF come out for a service. It's an old unit and needed to be fully replaced, I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with is that they were pushy on the spot looking for me to sign right away for a deposit. All in they wanted $9,000 to fix the next day. The red flag came up when Val, the owner calls an hour later and is willing to knock $1,000 off the price. The following day it came down another $500. I had 3 other estimates all in just under $6,000. (It was a small studio) I felt as if they were taking advantage of me. They still charged me $500 for the service call and replacement of the thermostat. I think that's a bit high too and I've left messages for an explanation but haven't heard back. That's all I need to know to start sharing this experience with my network.

I call for affordable plumber to come out give me estimate, not only did they over charge me
just to look at pipe with no camera to see what was the problem or tell me they would have to run camera to see what is the problem if anything was wrong with pipe. they me quote $8000.00 or $9000.00 that was quote, that not included them dig up my side walk that they weren't even going to replaced sidewalk. on paper they guy side 3400.00. affordable plumber emails me never told me that there is a service charge. I talk to lady from their office never told me that I will be out 05/10/2017 5pm she never said that I would be hit with a service charge $85.00. I told the guy I didn't have the $85.00 and that no one said anything about service charge, he asks me do I have any money on me or debit card. I tell everybody not to used them, one they don't live up to their name affordable plumbing. I received phone call from their office and young lady to me that I have to paid that service charge and did I think they would come out for free. This what I email.
This email is to formally notify you that the payment owed by you on invoice 5/10/17 is two weeks overdue. The amount of $85 was due on 5/10/17. The invoice can be paid by check, credit card. Attached is a copy of the signed invoice that was sent to you with the date and amount due highlighted.

One month after the due date, a late fee will be applied to your bill and a new invoice will be sent. If you have already paid this invoice, please disregard this email. Otherwise, please send the payment immediately.

I had them come out to install a whole house humidifier and the service couldn't have been any better. They were on-time, well mannered and gave there honest opinion about price and what it would take to complete the work. I would recommend them for any HVAC/plumbing work in the area.

Terrible. tell you one price, and the price increases the longer that they stay and repair your heater or air conditioner. There always seems to be a problem after they leave. They leave a mess at your house. expensive. The owner continually states , ""Were not here for the money"". They sure are and want more as the time gets longer in your house.

I have several properties and have used a dozen or more plumbers over the years.
I'm happy to say this company has hit my personal trifecta for working long term with a contractor.
They showed up when they said, gave a reasonable quote, and promptly performed services needed.
I'm confident we will be working together at all the properties for many years. If you own a house or any other properties you WILL need a plumber !
Looking forward to using them on my next Hvac repair.
It's only a matter of time.

I have an oil heater that hates to work. It is always getting clogged and just stops working - because oil heat is the worst thing ever and I recommend avoiding renting in a place with oil heat (in my lease, I are responsible for most of the maintenance - which I didn't know much about because WHO HAS EVER HAD OIL HEAT BEFORE)

Anyway - like the other review said, they were the first people that said they could come out. Considering the freezing temperatures lately, this was very important to me.

Not only did the technician come within 24 hours of my call but he also stayed until it was fixed and actually heating the house. He was just concerned about the heater being fixed. Nothing feels better then working heat in the middle of a record breaking cold winter.

He also gave us advice for the next time this happened - I will probably just keep calling them if it keeps stopping. The service was affordable, friendly and HE FIXED IT!!

I hired Vlad to do siding and capping. Vlad and I agreed to 9500 for the siding/capping job. Vlad refused to provide a estimate/contract prior to job. Once job was more than 50% complete, Vlad presented a bill for over 17000. Vlad and his workers left trash around job site including debri, ciggarettes, and lunch trash. The capping was hideous, vlad and his workers had to tear down and replace. Siding in back yard had to be reinstalled due to waviness. Vlad and team capped over existing capping for windows. The capping had gaps that he refuses to caulk and repair. Vlad and team caulked in rain and once weather changed, he refused to come back when weather was warmer to caulk. Vlad did plumbing and the fixtures leaked upon first use. Ferring strips were used for insulation under siding and are exposed to the elements. he refuses to rectify the situation. He installed siding and j channels over bilco door's mounting plate. He again refuses to fix. He built a roof over a big window and left exposed plywood for the roof to the element. I would not recommend him due to his work ethic and refusal to finish job. The job was started in september and still is not finished. it was started in 9/13.
