One thing that really makes me mad is when a company jacks its prices up due to increased demand. Also known as gouging. A service call with this company was $285 last year and today it's $425. My paycheck hasn't doubled in one year so they've proved themselves to out price me and anyone who wants to use them. Give me a break.

Called Affordable Drain to fix a, overflowing toilet at a rental property. Michael (technician) not only got there sooner than I had anticipated, he went above and beyond to provide thorough and excellent service, making sure that the problem was fixed and the area was clean and dry!

Had a storm drain clogged that a snake couldn't clear so I was referred to these guys for hydro blasting. They took their time to figure out our maze of piping and found the clog with their camera and proceeded to blast thru what turned out to be a tangle of palm tree roots 15 feet long. They marked the ground where the roots started so we can excavate at a later time to fix it once and for all. Nick was very thorough and passionate about his work. They didn't even charge for the extra hour (sshh!). Will use them any time I need a drain blasted!

These guys were fantastic. We had a backup on our main line that caused some minor flooding in our bathroom. After having another company snake the line, we decided to have Affordable Drain come out to scope the line with a camera to find out where the clog was. These guys came out on time and went right to work. They quickly found out the problem was not under the house (thank god) and that we had a second clean out in the front yard buried 3 feet deep that they could not see past. Needless to say I was worried we wouldn't be able to clear the pipe without calling someone else out. That's when Billy Teeter and Ryan K. grabbed a shovel and went to work. Not only did they dig the hole to find the clean out (which they didn't have to do), they scoped it with a camera and jetted the line with 3,000 psi's. It blasted all of the roots out and now our plumbing is back in working order. Thanks gents. Great work! I will definitely use them again.

Jeff the service tech is FANTASTIC!!!! He is always thorough, professional and trustworthy. I know we will get the best service when he is here. No complaints with him or his work performance or ethic. We have complete confidence in him, because he will get the job taken care of in a pleasant manner. He is EXCELLENT!!!!

Unfortunately, I wish I had the same opinion about the office staff who I had to interact with on the telephone today. Both conversations were obstinate, defensive and difficult. Their need to state the obvious (repeatedly) was unnecessary and redundant. They were more interested in getting their point across and not considering my words or platform. It was a power play, and in my opinion the furthest thing from customer service or customer appreciation.

I chose to share this because, this company has taken care of us in the past as it related to ""drains"" and also being generous with how they billed due to our repeated need for their service. That kindness was appreciated and we are grateful, but to dangle that fact within the conversation (repeatedly) was insulting. We were and are grateful for the discount(s) that were provided, and that should have been accepted and noted when it was stated in our conversation. Their need to repeat what they did for us by providing a discounted service, not appreciating us as repeated customers, and their need/want to get the last word in as the 'only' word that mattered, really made it feel like a power play platform.


This was unfortunate for all of us on the phone today......

I had Affordable Drain Service come today to unclog our drains in our older house. Ryan was polite and helpful. He came on time, cleaned up after himself, and gave me advice on how to care for our plumbing. The price was very reasonable too.

3 stars because the customer service was too awkward...

Called their phone number and made an appointment for same day service. Dispatcher estimate 1-3pm, tech came at 2:42pm same day.

Called back dispatcher because I forgot what the time was, a girl answered and placed me on hold right away.. then another guy answered.. no warm transfer at all. Asked dispatcher to verify my number they have on file, glad I did because he had put in a wrong number.

John (tech) got the job done in 15 minutes. Paid 88 dollars (dispatcher estimated 88 dollars an hour) for what i think is from hair build up in the bathtub drain.

He didn't introduce himself when we opened the door.. just when he called stating hes on the way.. but I knew he was the plumber from his outfit and truck outside. He didn't tell us what went wrong or what he found etc.

Paid before tech left.

I don't know, they did get the job done I guess that's what truly matters. But atleast have good customer service. It was just too awkward.. it was like having a stranger go into your home, fix the problem, and then leave without saying a word.

After 4 drain companies looked at a drain problem we have in our 24-unit condo building, Dan Wooten from Affordable came and solved it. He found the problem, told us how to fix it, and saved us hundreds - maybe thousands - of dollars. He was excellent. I have rarely seen such professionalism, courtesy, skill, and expertise.

Fantastic drain service! I had service on my main line about a year ago. They cleared a line that had several years of build-up super fast, and for only $88! I will absolutely be calling them again when needed.
