Just bought a house and it had a major problem with roots growing in the pipes due to the trees in the back yard. Affordable Drain service did a great job for the company I work at, so I took their card. Billy and Johnny came out ran a camera and cut away all the roots. They were super friendly, knowledgeable, fast and super affordable. I will be calling them again next year unless I get rid of these trees first. They are highly recommended.

On 08-31-2014 Our main drain was plugged. We couldn't use any of the three bathrooms. I called several plummers and left messages,no one called me back.Went on the net and found Affordable Drain.I called and was told someone would be calling me back in a few minutes.Kevin did,I explained the situation and he said ok Mike will be at my home 60 to 90 min.Mike showed within the hour,went to work and had that drain unplugged in no time.The guy was a workhorse and knew his job.This was all done on a Sunday evening.I'm keeping their number,they don't play around they get results!

I recently had a main sewer line back up caused by tree roots.

I called around several places for estimates and affordable drain service seemed to be the best value.

When I decided to go with Affordable Drain, Billy showed up on time.

He was able to jet all the roots out of my sewer line and he made a DVD video that I could compare to how bad the roots were before.

I'd definitely go with Affordable Drain again. Unfortunately with 50 year old concrete pipes in my front yard, I probably will have to have the roots jetted in another year or two, I will be sure to call Affordable Drain again (It's better than having a sewage backup in your house!)

WOW! The customer service while talking with the on call technician, Kevin, was out-standing! I was blown away at the eagerness and willingness to walk me through the issue I was having and stopping by to check it out. I didn't end up having any actual service done, but if the caliber of customer service is anything like the caliber of work.... five stars hand down. Thank you Kevin for blowing me away!

Affordable Drain sent Carlin, one of their service techs, to clear out the plumbing to our only bathroom here. He was courteous, polite and fast. Affordable responded quickly (on a Sunday!) and they were indeed affordable.

We have used Affordable drain for several years in Mission Beach for our vacation rental business. The technicians have always been professional and dealing with Sheree in their office has always been a pleasure. She is efficient, accommodating and professional; HOWEVER, recently myself and another employee here at Coastal San Diego Vacation Rentals had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a rude and arrogant individual by the name of Brian in Affordable Drain's office, who I am told is the owner's son. It is a major disappointment to all of us at Coastal San Diego Vacation Rentals who have always been very pleased with our dealings with Affordable to now have had two consecutive negative experiences dealing with Brian. Needless-to-say we are disappointed that we now feel we have been given no choice, but to aggressively locate another drain service, since we probably utilized the services of Affordable at average on a weekly basis during the busy summer months.

We have a restaurant and Affordable Drain has done a great job helping us keep our plumbing in goo d shape at reasonable prices. And...when you really need them they are there to assist. Drain clog last night could have shut down our operations. They were there in less than 1/2 hour and the rates on a Friday Night were very reasonable! Kevin is fast and does a great job. Dan Diegos gives them 5 stars !!!

I called Affordable in the morning and they gave me an appointment around noon. They were going to run a little late so they called to let me know it would be a half hour late, which was nice to know. Then Nick, the tech coming out, called about 15 minutes before getting to my house. So good communications.

Nick and his partner were very professional and made sure they didn't damage my flagstone patio with the equipment. They also made sure it was clean after finishing the work.

I/they started with a router, and that cleared the drain pipe. But Nick asked if I wanted a video of pipe; indicating that there should have been a clean-out closer to the street and that the camera system could pin-point where it was. Using the camera we identified the location of the clean-out. I will have to wait to dig down to it since it is under some landscaping that I don't want to disturb. The camera sends out a signal that a hand held detector zero's in on. Pretty cool.

Nick then took the camera down to the location of the blockage and it was roots, and the router had cut a nice 2 inch hole through it. Since it was just past a corner the router would always hit the same spot and not get the rest of the roots. I then upgraded the work to use the ""Jet"" high pressure water cleaner. Using the camera and the Jet, Nick made sure that all the roots were cut off inside the pipe. Having the camera show the video of the problem spot makes all the difference! I highly recommend it, and I got to keep a copy of the video on a USB stick to show my wife.

I am very glad I called Affordable. I would never have been able to clear out the roots with a rental router, nor know about the other clean-out location.

I will definitely call them again.

I've used affordable drain service many times at my own home in Scripps ranch. This time it was for my elderly father's house in la Mesa. I normally like to be there when he is having work done but felt comfortable with ADS. The serviceman (Johnny) was prompt, clean, and did a great job. My father was very happy. I would highly recommend them.
