We were with out AC the evening of 9/25. So first thing Sunday I called and they were able to have a technician resolve our issue and have it up and running with in an hour. Chris L. was our technician and helped explain what the issue was that needed to be fixed. Thank you!

Tried to get help With my gutters. Would not recommend this company. Called several times got blown off and never any return calls!

Affordable Air is NOT AFFORDABLE. They REFUSED to install a heat pump I bought for $1347, 9000 BTUs, 38SEER Blueridge . Reason is they want to charge TWICE the amount for the unit plus huge installation fee. They want to buy the unit so they can double the price to you! I needed a swap out of a broken and discontinued Fujitsu 26 SEER unit I bought 8 years ago. Even though my unit comes with a Manufacturer's warranty, their FAKE excuse is that the installation would not be under warranty. They also don't have 38SEER efficient heat pumps. Time to change the name to EXPENSIVE RIP OFF Air!

Everybody has different experiences but mine was great. I received 2 emails about my appointment and a call from Trevor 15 minutes before he was to arrive. He was professional, in company shirt, equipment in hand and very knowledgeable about my system. He even let me shadow him around so that I could learn a few things which was very helpful. He explained about service packages and did a maintenance on my unit. He was well spoken and did not rush out the door when I had questions. I ended up spending more money than I budgeted or planned for-however in the long run this is a better option. I trust this company and Trevor. I give them a 5 star and highly recommend them if you need this type of service.

Not affordable. Had an emergency fix for a new A/C unit, less than 4 years old. The technician fixed the problem but, ran unnecessary tests (in my opinion) and pushed the company's maintenance plan. Be careful. They will financially bleed you.

Best ac company I have ever done business with! Fast service , on time and the most knowledgeable ac technician I have dealt with! Trevor fixed 2 ac units for us and we have not had a problem since! RUN from this company. I had an extended warranty policy that they refused to honor on a Friday night when my AC went down, even though they had been honoring it for two years. They will try to sell you everything under the sun. Duct work, insulation, etc. but still won't fix your initial problem. I had a freon leak that was visible if you simply looked inside the unit. The high pressure line blew out at the coil on the outside condenser unit. Not one technician from Affordable Air and Heat had enough sense to simply look inside the unit. Even paid them for a leak test and they couldn't find it. The manager Jake Jackson is hostile and the owner doesn't give a rip. Buyer beware, they're clueless!

Call Anyone Else! I had called Thursday with no AC and tenants coming in on Sunday. Friday they charged me $414 (for a $23 breaker) that didn't need to be replaced. Within hours the system was down again. Late Friday afternoon they then sent another invoice for another service call when no one had visited my home(I have cameras) and an estimate to replace the compressor if under warranty, for over $1400 with no timeline for replacement. I asked about replacing the entire outdoor unit if it could be done more quickly. The absolute best they could do was an appointment for an Estimate on MONDAY btwn 3-5pm. At this point it was obvious I was chasing my tail with these people. I called another company at 6pm Friday, Saturday morning they replaced the capacitor and the correct breaker. It is working fine now after calling a responsive company.

I would caution anyone who is considering using Affordable Air to read the reviews and do their due diligence. I had been a customer of theirs under this and their previous ownership (they recently changed their name under the guise that they needed a new start given the reputation of the previous name of Climate Solutions - do a search on them and you should see some reviews). They told me they were sending someone out for my maintenance check as part of an existing agreement we had that I had not planned on renewing. Since I had never paid for maintenance checks prior because it fell under the maintenance agreement, I assumed this was part of the agreement. It was only after he serviced everything that I was told there would be a charge. See attached email. Dispatcher failed to tell me that this was start of a new cycle, and I figured it was part of the plan. They also left the door off the system and have refused to send someone as they indicated that """"if he (the technician) had to remove the door to gain access he is not responsible to put it back"""" (see attached screen shot). I think the other issue I had is after I disputed the charge, they sent me a letter that told me I had until January 14th to pay the bill (the service was done on 12/19/2019) or it was going to be sent to collections. So less than 21 days to deal with this issue. What was more astounding is that I then was texted and emailed on 1/2 (so 14 days after the service) to tell me that I was going to collections at 5 pm today (1/2). When I explained that I was holding a letter that told me that I had until the 14th, the Collections Manager responded with an email saying """"The 14th was a courtesy. I am not as nice as the local office."""".... I find that companies that immediately pull out the """"collections"""" card when presented with an unhappy customer are ones that clearly have integrity issues. Look, perhaps they are a good company for some. I am sure there are those who think they perform admirably. However, I would just caution those who are thinking of using them to document EVERYTHING, and take photos and keep logs of discussions.

The WORST company I ever dealt with....took them one year to complete the job and they also blew up my water heater in the process which cost me another $800, after i paid them $6,000 ....they absolutely took advantage of Senior Citizens...this company is incredibly inept...do yourself a favor, choose any other A/C except then And avoid much stress and frustration....I can't tell you what a horrible experience this was....their customer service left much to be desired !
