If I could give negative stars I would. I used this company for many years at my personal residence and business prior the them being taken over by this Affordable Air and Heat. When the new tech showed up at my residence, he was so unprofessional I wanted to throw him off my property but it was my second visit under contract. Thank goodness my last for my residence. I still had one visit to go at my business with this company under contract. I should have cancelled it!!! The tech came out to my business, was supposed to be there in the afternoon, shows up in the morning. No call, nothing. Said he couldn't get to the equipment. He would have to reschedule. I have one shelf on wheels that has to be moved to get the equipment. Mind you he showed up early with no warning. He would not wait 2 minutes for the shelf to be moved but sat out in his truck for 15min in my parking lot. I notified the office of this. Another tech came back on 1-9-19 to service the AC unit.On 1-27-19 the unit wasn't working. So we called them to come check it out since they just serviced it 18 days prior. They came out, 1-28-19 said it was fine, but still not working correctly. It is now April 8, 2019 I receive an e-mail stating I have an outstanding invoice of $69. I e-mailed back, the visit was my second visit under contract. Danielle at this company e-mails back it was for the visit 1-28-19 a service call. Now, I was never told there was a service call fee ( they were just there 18 days prior) I never agreed to a service call nor was I ever sent a bill for a service call until today. Oh they are also threatening collection. What a horrible way to do business. I would NEVER charge my customers another service call if we were just there. STAY CLEAR E. Thomas

Formerly Climate Solutions. Check out the reviews on there. Per the GM, Caleb, """"They didn't have a good online presence so they're changing their name."""" This was three weeks after I spent about $1,200 replacing the coil in my A/C with them. My heat didn't work from day one but since it's Florida, I was ok with waiting to get it fixed until they had time. They came out and said they never touched the heat pump and the fact that the A/C rattled since the day the left also wasn't their fault, per the tech, Jon, it was """"my husband's fault since he's not here"""" Why not blame the tech that did it since he Is also not here...? Very unprofessional and the tech lied to the GM and said we told him """"shocking"""" things. What was so shocking I still don't know! There's plenty of other A/C companies, I'd give this one a miss if I were you. Update- Spoke to Caleb, he said he would waive the $100 charge for them to come out to fix the issues they created. Great. A month later, we still got a bill after Caleb had called asking me to remove my review and I refused. Repeated calls to Caleb about honoring what he said, no answer. We are so sick of the whole situation, we paid the $100 so they would just go away. A week later, my husband figured out that they hadn't tightened the screws completely when putting the panel back on, that's why it rattled...

WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life since the new owners took over. After being a loyal customer for over 10 years, my AC of only 2 yrs of age stopped cooling on June 4th 2019 (2nd AC purchased, my 1st AC was purchased in another home when they were Climate Solutions). They came out right away and seemed to have found the problem. It took them 9 days to get parts, all the while I stayed without AC. June 13 they came to supposedly install the broken parts and then I was told they only had half the parts. The AC still wasn't cooling. June 14 they came to install the other part because I demanded they find it right away considering it had already been 10 days! They install the other part and leave. The AC still wasn't cooling!!!!! I went yet another weekend with no AC, June 17 they send yet another tech to fix the problem, and yet again do NOT get the AC cooling. I have to wait until June 22 for yet another tech to come try to get the AC cooling to no avail. FINALLY on June 24, 20 days OF NO AC, another tech comes and vacuums the system and gets the AC cooling. None of the other techs vacuumed my system nor properly did any of their work to rectify the system to get it cooling. After all this hassle, they threatened to send me to collections today for not paying a bill of $250 after only emailing me once about the bill. I spoke to the manager KC in June who agreed to wave the fee due to being without AC for a month because of their incompetence. After being harassed by their credit manager Jon-Lise today via email and text, I am paying the amount and have cancelled all my services with them. Totally unprofessional and disgusting company from management all the way down the chain! Good riddance!

Everybody has different experiences but mine was great. I received 2 emails about my appointment and a call from Trevor 15 minutes before he was to arrive. He was professional, in company shirt, equipment in hand and very knowledgeable about my system. He even let me shadow him around so that I could learn a few things which was very helpful. He explained about service packages and did a maintenance on my unit. He was well spoken and did not rush out the door when I had questions. I ended up spending more money than I budgeted or planned for-however in the long run this is a better option. I trust this company and Trevor. I give them a 5 star and highly recommend them if you need this type of service.

We experienced a big mix-up for our first service request - dispatch center gave the technician the wrong address, so he never showed up. We were very irritated, but after talking with the general manager about our experience, Affordable Air really stepped up big time! They did the service call the very next day, after going out of their way to make arrangements to get the key. Since the address in question is not our permanent residence, we were trying to arrange all of this long distance, which is very difficult, but the GM could not have been more accommodating! They corrected the acute issue and have helped us make a plan for a permanent fix. I would definitely recommend this company and their ownership/management for their customer service and outstanding service recovery.

Affordable Air is NOT AFFORDABLE. They REFUSED to install a heat pump I bought for $1347, 9000 BTUs, 38SEER Blueridge . Reason is they want to charge TWICE the amount for the unit plus huge installation fee. They want to buy the unit so they can double the price to you! I needed a swap out of a broken and discontinued Fujitsu 26 SEER unit I bought 8 years ago. Even though my unit comes with a Manufacturer's warranty, their FAKE excuse is that the installation would not be under warranty. They also don't have 38SEER efficient heat pumps. Time to change the name to EXPENSIVE RIP OFF Air!

I would caution anyone who is considering using Affordable Air to read the reviews and do their due diligence. I had been a customer of theirs under this and their previous ownership (they recently changed their name under the guise that they needed a new start given the reputation of the previous name of Climate Solutions - do a search on them and you should see some reviews). They told me they were sending someone out for my maintenance check as part of an existing agreement we had that I had not planned on renewing. Since I had never paid for maintenance checks prior because it fell under the maintenance agreement, I assumed this was part of the agreement. It was only after he serviced everything that I was told there would be a charge. See attached email. Dispatcher failed to tell me that this was start of a new cycle, and I figured it was part of the plan. They also left the door off the system and have refused to send someone as they indicated that """"if he (the technician) had to remove the door to gain access he is not responsible to put it back"""" (see attached screen shot). I think the other issue I had is after I disputed the charge, they sent me a letter that told me I had until January 14th to pay the bill (the service was done on 12/19/2019) or it was going to be sent to collections. So less than 21 days to deal with this issue. What was more astounding is that I then was texted and emailed on 1/2 (so 14 days after the service) to tell me that I was going to collections at 5 pm today (1/2). When I explained that I was holding a letter that told me that I had until the 14th, the Collections Manager responded with an email saying """"The 14th was a courtesy. I am not as nice as the local office."""".... I find that companies that immediately pull out the """"collections"""" card when presented with an unhappy customer are ones that clearly have integrity issues. Look, perhaps they are a good company for some. I am sure there are those who think they perform admirably. However, I would just caution those who are thinking of using them to document EVERYTHING, and take photos and keep logs of discussions.
