My home shield company sent them out to fix my oven. The technician was at my house 5 minutes saw that the oven wasn't working and said he was going to look into what it was. Went back to the company and closed the file as fixed. I left 14 messages for the company to find out what was going on. After 2 weeks I finally got a hold of someone who told me it was closed by my home warrentry company which it wasn't. I asked why no one called me back and she said not my job. They deserve zero points not one do not use them.

I second, third, and fourth that opinion. Hard to reach. Call over and over. Eventually they will return a message. When they finally came, had no idea how to fix our dishwasher. Waited over a week for them to call back. When I called them, they said they were waiting for a part. But when the guy was here, he didn't know what was wrong, so are they just randomly ordering a part? All through a Sears warranty Sears apparently abandoned responsibility for. Go elsewhere.

Do not work With these people. Refuse service form them if they are contracted to fix your appliances. The tech who drives the scion is the rudest person I've ever encountered in my life. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable in my own home. I had to ask him to leave. He called my appliances junk as well. Never called to say he was on his way either and he caught me off guard when he showed up. I said oh you didn't call. He said we don't do that which was a lie. I called the company to verify and they said they did. That there was obviously a window but they did call still. Nasty, vile ""man"", so full of himself. You are not god, you are a repairman. Humble yourself!

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH!!!!
Trust me when I say you do now want to use this company. I've been trying to get my washer repaired for OVER 2 months now. And to this day as i am writing this review, it still isn't repaired. The only reason I am using them is because my home warranty is making me. The receptionist has an attitude when you try and contact them.
Once again, worst company out there. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Very poor service and even telling an insurance company a non-truth. I would never recommend this company to anybody it is a total rip off. They do not answer the phone and send you to a voicemail which has not been set up and simply says goodbye.

I'm wasting my time rating these guys another 1-star review. They have so many already.

Same story here - referred to them through a home warranty company.

At first, they came out when expected, did the diagnostic, and then said they would reach out to the home warranty company.

They did tell the home warranty company that the cost of repair would exceed the cost of replacement, but failed to give the home warranty the required parts numbers and prices so the home warranty company could finish with my file, replace the appliance, and be done.

They first came out beginning of November, here we are in end of December...the home warranty company has been calling them daily for the past weeks with no answer, call back, etc.

Either we keep waiting or they transfer me to a new appliance company and start the process over again.

I'm convinced that 99% of companies that work with home warranty companies are like AF Services - amateur, shady, bad with customer service and basic ""running a business 101.""

I can't imagine these guys/gals get many clients on their own, and surely no repeat business.

tl:dr - don't use these guys, and if they are referred to you by your home warranty company, ask for a new referral.

Hopefully the warranty companies cut these losers off.

Never have I ever been so fed up at the deception and lies from a company in my life! Do Not Use AF services EVERY!!!!!

Contact Cinch/Sears home warranty for my washing machine as it would stop washing for no reason mid cycle! The machine is three years old and a Samsung. AF services came out and ran the machine which stoped mid cycle! The technician stated, and I quote ""the machine looked new and appeared to be well maintained but that it needed a new pump, the control board and a door boot as it was leaking slightly"". He further stated he would contact Sears to order the parts.

Two weeks went by I contacted AF services and they said they were still waiting on parts. Three weeks went by I contacted AF services and they said Sears cancel the order. I contacted Sears/cinch And they stated the technician said the machine was damaged due to negligence!!!! I never received documentation or communications from anyone other then my calling concerning this matter!!! Let alone Negligence! Please review pictures. I received an email after my final contact with Sears stating AF services stated the machine was damaged due to negligence. What the hell does that mean!

Sears/cinch would not listen to me nor look at my documentation proving AF services were liars!! It appears this is a scam so they can get paid for troubleshooting as well as the initial service fee of $75. Meanwhile I'm stuck with the washing machine it doesn't work and AF services would not call me back AND I attempted to talk to the office manager and ZERO way of getting IN CONTACT with the technician or should I say the liar!

I'm filing with the Better Business Bureau, I dropped my cinch home warranty and AF Services better NEVER step on my property or near my home again especially the technician. They ARE all liars and thieves and I give you my strongest recommendation to NEVER use AF services. ITS A SCAM!!!!!!

They are the worst! Don't waste your time with them. They don't repair anything give you the run around and your repair never gets done. They have piss poor communication skills to boot.

This is the company servicing our appliances though Sears/Cinch Home Warranty. We had a refrigerator that wasn't cooling, and an icemaker not making ice. AF Services did a D-minus on the repair, saying the icemaker would work once they fixed the cooling issue. Contrary to the technician's assurances, the icemaker still didn't work. So we had to set up a new repair, and wait for the replacement part. Once the part came in, they made the repair. But now the icemaker wouldn't stop making ice. It is like the
Sorcerer's Apprentice, having to continually bail ice out of the freezer. For several weeks we have been waiting for the new ice maker repair, supposedly awaiting another part.

Meanwhile, we had them repair our old classic O'Keefe and Merritt stove. The front burner wasn't lighting. After two visits, the AF technician said it was beyond his capability. Then AF reported to Sears that it was beyond repair because it hadn't been well maintained by the customer. The stove has been in the apartment since at least 1950. We've had it serviced two or three times since we bought the building. That strikes me as a well-maintained stove.

After AF refusing to call me back for two weeks (to give me documentation on why they characterized the stove and not well maintained), I gave in and hired a company that specializes in old stoves, Sav-On Appliance. Their tech was able to repair it in about 10 minutes.

Sears/Cinch Home Warranty is a ripoff, and AF Services is a nightmare.

Very unhelpful, did not finish the job , and very confusing office. Sears sent them to me to fix my dishwasher and after waiting 3 months for a part I called to check the status and they said the order was canceled.
