Aerus L.L.C. functions as a creator and distributor of Healthy Home Products in upwards of 500 venues in North America. With state-of-the-art floor care systems and air and water purification products, Aerus promotes clean, safe, and healthy indoor settings for over 50 million establishments and homes in the U.S. and Canada. Since our inception in 1924 as Electrolux, we have pursued Healthy Home Products, starting with the first tank vacuum model introduced by Gustaf Sahlin. This tank design, also referred to as a canister, quickly gained popularity and set a benchmark for excellence in floor care products. The famous Electrolux vacuum cleaner, Model XXX, debuted in 1937, selling close to 14 million units before its retirement in 1954, and was later acknowledged by the Smithsonian Institute as a top 100 U.S. product. In 2000, we shifted from our floor care origins with Electrolux to provide a comprehensive range of innovative Healthy Home Products, including air and water purification systems, under the Aerus L.L.C. brand.
