Stay away from Advantedge Plumbing. They falsely advertise a ""free estimate"", but in the end, they will charge you for unnecessary and half-assed work. In addition, they now refuse to reimburse me for unnecessary labor charges, after confirming via email that they would do so. Here's what happened: My disposal stopped running two weeks ago. I checked the switch and outlet, and all other appliances were working for that outlet. Advantedge sent out two plumbers to troubleshoot the issue. They said that I needed a new disposal. After installing the new disposal, it didn't work either. Then they decided to check the circuit breaker. Turns out the circuit breaker had tripped, which is item #2 on the disposal troubleshoot checklist (#1. Is the unit plugged in?). I asked them to then confirm whether my old disposal worked and indeed it did, meaning they spent over an hour doing work that did not need to be done in the first place. When I asked that they kindly reinstall my working disposal, to avoid paying unnecessarily for a new one, they said they would have to charge me a service fee of $130, so I might as well leave the new one installed. At this point, I'm locked in to paying them money regardless, which is completely unprofessional and amateur service, leading me to believe that this may be standard practice for them. When I wrote to the company asking for a refund on labor charges, again, labor that I did not actually need, they offered to refund me via email. I am fine with paying for the new disposal since it is still installed, but I demand a refund on labor since they scammed me and promised they would return. They are now refusing to send it to me or answer my emails. So stay away from Advantedge Plumbing. They will upsell you on services you do not need -- apparently this is their business plan. Next up, filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to report them. Ridiculous.

AdvantEdge plumbing is amazing! I was able to schedule them right away (when 2 other companies couldn't come out for 3 or 4 days), and they came out and diagnosed the problem with our leaking sink in a couple of minutes. Jason White Horse completed the job quickly, and only charged us $40. To top it off, he was extremely nice and professional! We are going to use AdvantEdge plumbing from now on. This is the best experience we've had with a plumbing company in years!

Excellent! The only plumber I will ever call! We had a leak in the bathroom. The plumber's name is Jason White Horse. He fixed the problem very quickly. When the leak was fixed, I found that the water meter still shows usage. Jason helped to troubleshoot the problem very quickly.

Just to compare, another quote from a plumber with 178 five star reviews was several times higher. Also, they would not start work until I dried the crawl space. I think Jason took less time to fix the problem than the other guy spent talking about all the things I had to do before he starts the work.

From the staff answering (Jazz - sorry is spelling is not right) to Jason White Horse (the plumber who came within 30 minutes of me calling), we had a great experience with this company. Jason White Horse quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with. The cost was VERY reasonable. Would definitely recommend this company again. They saved quite a lot more headache by coming and fixing the problem quickly.

Amazing service! Responded within minutes and Jason came out for a free estimate within a half hour. Unfortunately our toilet is pretty old and needs replacing but he was able to clear out the toilet clog quickly and handled everything in a very friendly manner. Will definitely call them again for any future needs!!

It is so hard to find a tradesperson in the Bay Area , especially a plumber. Jason Whitehorse came and saved the day. He fixed a toilet that had been set incorrectly (by a different company), and replaced a broken pipe in the patio that had been leaking for awhile. Immediate response last night, and Jason came this morning. Jason was very professional and personable. Great experience. I will definitely call this company again.
