Advantage Air has been servicing and repairing our 14 AC units for over 18 months. As a commercial business, I can't have the Air not working. I have found them always quick to respond and go out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied. Recently we were waiting for a unit to get delivered. The company that was supposed to drop the unit off at our property was making it very difficult to arrange the delivery, Travis the manager at Advantage Air simply arranged to go pick the very large unit up himself to ensure that it would be installed on time.
Highly recommend this company.

Do NOT use this company. After waiting all day for a technician to arrive to repair our refrigeration unit, the scheduler called to announce that they would not be coming today. She offered to send someone in 2 days! Not tomorrow first thing. No attempt to take care of us, despite the fact that they installed the system a few years ago. We'll find another company.

James from advantage air mechanical came to my home to service my 2 units which I purchased from them in 2016. I am over the top impressed with the company & James went above & beyond to fix some things that were not done properly at installation & the work he did is impeccable. I also dealt with Travis for the initial purchase of my units & he is highly professional & really took great care of me. He told me that in purchasing these two new units my electric bill would probably be cut in half. Well I thought we'll see.
WELL it wasn't a sales pitch. I am here to tell you that my bills were in the 3& 4 hundreds with my old inefficient units & now my bills are in the hundreds. I am so excited!! My house is 3500 sq ft & 14'ceilings & lots of windows & doors. To have a $162.00 electric bill for the month is a godsend. I cannot give this company anything but excellent reviews & James get an excellent plus hands down. He is the bomb. I have also dealt with Darryl & I also give him an excellent plus.

I would like to start off by saying if I could give this company zero stars I would. My experience with Advantage Air Mechanical was disastrous.

My air conditioner stopped working on June 28th, I contacted my home warranty that day and was given Advantage Air Mechanicals number to schedule a appointment since they were contracted with my warranty company. I called Advantage Air the next morning and was told the earliest a technician could come to my home was 7 days later. Since it was the middle of summer I pleaded to have someone come out earlier due to it being over 100 degrees in my home and was denied a earlier appointment.

Fast forward to a week later, the technician was over a hour and a half late from his ""2-4pm"" timeframe that I was given. After the technician evaluated my unit I was told that my unit needed freon but the technician did not have any in his van. He told me that he was going to call his supervisor and return to my home in approx 1 hour with the freon needed to fix my unit. I never heard from the technician again that evening. I attempted to call multiple times and even left a few messages on the ""emergency"" line - my call was never returned.


Ultimately, my home was without a working air conditioner in the middle of a Arizona summer for 32 days due to the lackadaisical management of this company. I would never recommend this company to another home owner.

I wouldn't even give them one star if I could. Beware, after 15 years at a brand new house the original carrier AC unit had a leak in the evaporator coil. I spent about $4,500 on a brand new 3 ton 16 seer Rheem unit that is more than enough for the 1100 to 1200 sq ft house we have. Getting the system installed wasn't a problem, the problem was with the service calls and the quality of the certified technicians. Half of which I don't think were even certified to handle the coolant if needed. I had shoulder surgery on July 18th in Arizona which was on a Tuesday. I was going to be out of work for the rest of the week. I had a few appointments that I was going to be driven to by my wife because I was on pain killers. Wednesday morning I stepped out into the garage only to hear my blower motor revving so high I thought I was hearing things. No, I took a peak around the corner to look at my condenser coil or fan and it was incased entirely in ice. I called Advantage Air that same day and the next day they sent out a tech who did nothing but had me shut down the entire system, hook his gauges up to the condenser coil on the side of the house and measured the coolant pressure in the system and told me that it all looked good and that it was actually slightly over charged but not to worry. A week later my evaporator coil froze up again so I called them to come back out to get their shit together. A different tech came out and actually connected his gauges and had me turn on my system, which is the way to properly check the coolant pressure in the system and he measured everything as the unit was running and gave me some explanation as to the unit was slightly low on coolant. He proceeds to add over a pound of coolant which is a lot of coolant, plus some stop leak, Bullshit. Mind you the system is barely 5 years old and I'm being told it might have a leak and being charged extra because they added a little bit of stop leak into it. Being that the unit, which I bought through them is only 5 years old and they're telling me that there might be a leak, shouldn't they try to find where the leak is instead of just trying to put a band aid on it. The Condenser coil and evaporator coil both have a 10 year warranty and if there was a leak, which I seriously doubt, it would probably be located in one of these two pieces of equipment. On top of all that, when I called to have someone come out to check my system the prior week I had one service call still left on my contract. When they came back out the following week it was a revisit according to the receptionist I spoke to on the phone and that I wouldn't be charged for the service call. I come home from work the following Monday and I get a phone call from some idiot telling me I owe them $250 for the service call, over a pound of coolant, the stop leak and the labor charge. Needless to say I went off on this fool and all he could say was "" I don't understand where all this hostility is coming from. I really wish he would've just come to my house to rob me instead of doing it over the phone, I guess it's safer for him that way. All I can say is beware of this bullshit company. I'm never giving them another dime. In addition to all of that, When I bought the new system from them and had a two year service agreement included, every time a tech would come out once in the spring and then again in the fall, they would check the system. All would be great but I was supposed to get a free filter and never once did the tech show up with the correct size filter for my system. I'm not making that a major complaint because I always have plenty on hand to switch them myself it's just the fact that I'm paying them close to $100 to come out and tell me my system is fine and then not even get a free $4 filter. Kind of a ""fuck you"" in your face kind of thing. I should have known better early on that something wasn't right with this company because every single technician that would come out to do the maintenance would end up talking badly about other employee's they had to work with or the company itself, what a shame. Oh well. I'm done with them. Just my thoughts, oh and by the way I'm a purchasing manager for a big company and have been for 17 years and deal with many, many vendors trying to seek out quality products, service and pricing on a daily basis and for me to come to this conclusion about an air conditioning company says a lot. Buyer beware, Advantage Air Mechanical is by far the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Choke on the last $150 you'll ever see from me. :(

I have bought 5 airconditioning/furnace systems from Advantage Air Mechanical over the past 7 years. I have used them to fix any problems with airconditioning and heating at my 9 properties over the years. I was very loyal and they were the only place I used. I called on them to check stuff out several times a year. I was very happy with the quality/speed/price of the customer service for many years. Within the last year, the manager that I worked with, Victor, left the company. Since then, I have called about two different properties. One I couldn't even get them to return my call to check out. The other just ran out of their service warranty. It had been checked out every year for the same problem and the problem had never been rectified. After talking to my new contact at Advantage Air Mechanical, he said they would check it out, and if it is still the same problem, they would honor the warranty and fix the recurring problem. The tech called me while he was at the property and said the company would fix this problem and find out the underlying problem that was causing the recurring problem for free. I called my new contact three times in the next three weeks with no response. I finally had to get another company to go back to the house and fix the problem because the tenants said the problem was not fixed. I am so unhappy with the service since Victor left. I can't believe I have spent thousands of dollars at this company and they can not even call me back. I expect much better customer service from a company that I have bought 5 systems from and used several times a year. I'm sure if you are a single homeowner, you will get even worse service.

This company is a JOKE!!! My home warranty hired them and WE did they're job for them! We had to call to make sure the report was filed, parts were ordered and to schedule a time for service. EVERY time we called for this stuff they were not prepared what so ever which answers why so many people rate them so low! Check this out, they come and do an inspection and ""file"" the report for replacement parts right, they show up to do they're job and two minutes into the job they realize they don't have the right part and they blame it on the warranty instead of themselves considering they're own guy came out and took report and filed it. And worse, it was the manager Mark putting the blame elsewhere instead of being what a manager should be, leading by example and owning responsibility for his company/employees being worthless, he played the 6th grade blaming game and told my wife ""your ac still works so you should be fine while we reorder the part and schedule you next week"" instead of making us a priority for they're mistake. Worthless pathetic manager!!!!! My Marines fresh out of boot camp with no leadership traits developed just yet could run circles around this so called ""leader"" and show him what a real leader (manager) is all about. AND even worse... check this.... one of the guys that came to ""fix"" our AC, after he left right away with no apology or explanation comes back and smokes in front of my front door and blows his smoke so when my wife answers his knock she gets a big second hand dose from this disgusting pig and disgraceful employees cigarette. She's 7 months pregnant!!!!!!!! She was obviously showing she was pregnant, did this piece crap care, nope!! I see how you run things there Mark and all I have to say is that your employer was lucky I was present for this!!!!!!

The company was sent by my home warranty company. As such they are not accountable for timely, quality work or customer service. They replaced my roof system May 30, 2017 and when the first monsoon rain came water came flooding into my upstairs hallway. On removing the vent and filter I could see daylight and sky! They left the roof basically open. When I called to schedule service for the repair, I was not assigned a service technician for 5 days. I wonder what constitutes an immediate concern for these people! Similarly when the appointment time came and the technician didn't arrive I was told the arrival window was 4 hours and the technician would arrive after two other appointments. I had to be at the doctor in 2 hours and expressed Concern that the later arrival time would not allow completion of the work. The receptionist would not consider bumping my appointment in the queue or assigning another service tech who could arrive with time to complete the repair before close of business. She would not allow me to speak with the company owner but insisted if I needed a tech there within the hour I should call the warranty company and see if they could assign another company who had a tech available. This, of course, would deflect the problem away from them and would likely also not produce a satisfactory solution for me. They ultimately wore me down with inflexible responses, inability to offer alternative solutions, and total lack of concern for the water damage to my home resulting from their negligent installation.

I'm alarmed with the poor quality of service this company permits and unprofessional nature of this company's employees.
