These guys are amazing and have helped us out with a major below slab plumbing issue for a fraction of the cost quoted by other companies. We have used them yearly for sewer lateral clean outs to keep our old plumbing clear and will definitely use them when we finally need to replace the whole thing. Very trustworthy! Told us we did not need to do major work even though it would have made them thousands of $. That is the kind of company you want to keep using and tell your neighbors about. Would highly recommend! Very satisfied every time we have used them for our plumbing needs. Great company and great people!

We live in the Oakland Hills (actually in a valley - 20 feet below street level) in a house that was built in the early 1950s. In other words, we have (had) lots of roots invading the connections between the clay sewer lateral pipes that ran from our house to the main city sewer line 20 feet below the street that runs just in front of our house.

After several years of borrowing the sewer snake from the Oakland library and becoming pretty adept at snaking the lateral from my house to the street, the roots finally won out. So I had a number of companies video inspect the line and provide quotes for replacing my sewer lateral ""trenchlessly"". (This was the best option given than my house is 20 feet below the street level and about 75"" back from the street.
If we had to dig a trench to replace the lateral it would have cost more than twice as much as it did.)

Ryan and his AT crew were great: on time, efficient, got the job done on time and at the price quoted, and cleaned up everything very well. I now have a new lateral that passed muster with the city and EBMUD. It has a 20 year certification and so if/when we sell the house that's already taken care of. The AT crew ran into a wrinkle in digging the 20' pit to get my lateral connected to the city main - because PGE did not detect a gas line. This set AT back slightly, but their may Jason was unruffled, and just approached the connection from the other side. Got the job done on time.

I interviewed over 6 companies, AT was the most reasonable and did a great, professional, quick job. It is also nice that Ryan who is the CEO does the estimate and
checks on the job personally when it's in process.

I and my knees will miss snaking the sewer on saturdays (and unexpected late nights) though.

After having Roto Rooter come out 2x a year for 7 years our sewer line couldn't be repaired. I got 4 quotes. 2 were so unprofessional it was a joke. Ryan was the only one that offered a free camera inspection with very high tech equipment, but mainly gave me the sense of honesty & professionalism that I trusted. He explained everything from permits to tying into the street and had a quote emailed to me within the hour. They took care of everything. The job was to be a pretty easy one day get in get out but there were complications with a water main and our neighbors Y so they replaced the neighbors Y and 4 feet of line at no cost to him or us! They were here from 7:30am till 7:30pm to make sure we were up and running. They came back the next day and patched the road (better than the city had done previously) and poured concrete back in our walkway that had they had to remove to tie into the garage. It was on the back side of the house so there was no landscape of any kind except for weeds but they put down soil and grass seed where they had to dig out! Crazy but true. The crew was really fabulous/curtious and professional. They have a great working relationship with the City inspector (who is on site for quite a bit of the work) and he had nothing but great things to say about Advanced Trenchless. Even with the job taking much longer than expected because of the problems with tying into the street they charged us exactly what was quoted. The crew worked really really hard and after being here 12 hours they were still really polite. Don't bother calling anybody else, these guys are pro's!

We did not have a sewer problem, but our street is being replaced and the city suggested having our sewer line checked because if there were any problems found, it would cost less to have them fixed before the new street goes in. I wish we had known of Advanced Trenchless (AT) sooner it would have saved $150 to have a video of our sewer line done by a rooter company. Like many neighbor hoods built in the 1950's our seer line from the house to the street was comprised of sectional clay pipe. Needless to say there was root obstruction and pipe displacement. Fortunately our neighbors were having AT fix their line and turned us onto them.

AT responded quickly to our call and were $8000 less than the quote we got from the rooter company. The crew that did the work was friendly,professional, helpful and in and out like a fiddler's elbow. The front yard looks like it did when they started and we did not lose one plant. The process is fascinating and requires minimal digging. I highly recommend using AT. It's a no brainer!

HONEST!!! Michael and his son came to our house in Walnut Creek to give us a second opinion regarding a blocked sewage pipe. The roto-rooter man that first came out thought that there was some kind of structural problem with the sewer and suggested that we get a 3 inch pipe replaced under our house. Michael and his son came out and gave us a free video examination and found no problems. He and his son were very professional and honest and let us know that there was no structural problems. We had the roto-rooter guy come back out and use progressively larger cutters to completely clean out the sewer pipe. We're also following Michael's suggestion for the kids to use less toilet paper.

We just got our sewer line replaced couple of days ago with the Trenchless and we're very happy with their work! We read all the reviews before we hired them but still we said we have to wait & see if they are really good or not. But to our surprise, they were very prompt & very professional with the best price! We highly recommend the Trenchless. One of our neighbor had the sewer replaced by someone else a day before us and while they took 2 days to complete the work, Trenchless guys took only 1 day to get all the work done and everything cleaned!

In September, 2013 we contracted with Advanced Trenchless, Inc. to install a trenchless sewer starting with the plumbing behind our house into the street. They were one of five bids we got, their price was in the middle, and we picked them because they really made the whole process understandable . Trenchless sewers have now replaced cast iron and required by East Bay MUD if you are selling your house and make sense if you need to replace a sewer with problems (our situation).

Advanced Trenchless is a family operation involving a father and two sons which was appealing. The CEO, Ryan, managed the whole job which was done in two days. Their crew was great, directed traffic, worked with neighbors to minimize disruptions, etc.

They have worked with East Bay MUD and the permitting process for many years, and we passed with flying colors. They worked incredibly hard, handled their equipment professionally and put all that dirt they dug out in a contained area, and then put it right back in when the job was done.

We are big fans---we live in north Oakland, so they service the whole Bay Area. You may find trenchless contractors with more reviews---but these guys are up there with the best.!
