I had urgent situation in December when i had to replace my water heater quickly and decided to hire this company.

1) I always wanted to install a hybrid electrical model and when i asked them for this option, they were hesitant and throw some random estimate around 7k... that was clearly too expensive (i learned later than it can be done for half this price from a few other contractors). In addition to that they started saying things that it's new unknown tech blah.. blah.. and they don't recommend it.

If you hear such thing from a contractor next time, do more research... maybe it's not the tech, but the contractor who doesn't know the tech.

2) Due to the urgency i agreed on the gas model. The price was on the higher side, but they offered the brand i wanted and they could do the job same day. The plumbing work was good, but somehow they didn't install an expansion tank and didn't insulate the pipes around the water heater (something that i learned later many contractors include by default or it doesn't really cost much). They didn't even mention these things as an option.

My response to the owner's comments:

1) Re: expansion tank. The up-sold argument is not convincing. The cost of the tank is $30-50, just check the HD website. Your price was on the higher side already. You also could spend a few dollars for pipe insulation around the heater.

2) Re: the cost of the hybrid Rheem water heater is around $1200, AOSmith price is pretty close. It's not a huge difference compared to the gas models ($600-900), doesn't add up to the suggested 7k, even if you do additional electrical. And even if the condensate pump was necessary the cost is within $100 for most of the models on HD website.

Again, i got estimates from a few contractors and your price was clearly much much higher.

Our (very old) garbage disposal started leaking late last night, and we knew we'd need a replacement. Got in touch with the answering service, and within a quarter hour had an appt. set up for this morning. Kory was prompt and professional, and in less than 90 min. we have a new disposal (includes a new drain & some surrounding pipe). $619; labor guaranteed for 1 yr.

I called about a leaking kitchen sink faucet. Keith was prompt, thorough, and professional! He showed us a spot where our contractor had actually installed some pvc piping BACKWARD. My elderly mom was impressed by his honesty and attention to detail! We definitely would use this company in the future & recommend to friends & neighbors.

The inlet water line to one of our faucet burst, and upon fixing it, our plumber found that our inlet water pressure to the house was too high
(100 psi, should be between 50-70). Since we have external water line insurance with HomeServe, they forwarded the job to Advanced Quality Plumbing and Rooter to do the work. I was initially concerned that it would take them forever to come and do the work. However, to my pleasant surprise, as soon as I hung up the phone with HomeServe, Robert from Advanced Quality Plumbing and Rooter called to schedule a service for 8-10am the next morning, Saturday. Tim came at around 9AM to check out our regulator, and went back to pick up all the parts. He came back in less than an hour, got all the parts, (he was able to correctly eye the size of the pipes), replaced the regulator and set it up to 65 psi in no time. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient and professional Tim was in providing the service. I would highly recommend and would definitely use Advanced Quality Plumbing and Rooter for my future plumbing needs.

My experience with Advanced Quality Plumbing was great. Within 1 1/2 hours of scheduling an appointment Tim promptly showed up at my door. I explained the sewer was backing up in both of my bathrooms. Soon Tim was in my crawl space inspecting my sewer pipe configuration and determined the blockage was between my house and the sewer main in the street. It would be necessary to rooter the pipe but I had no clean-out installed. In order to safely rooter the pipe and protect from future problems one needed to be installed. Soon there were two additional plumbers working in my yard to install the clean-out. It was raining all day but the clean-out was installed within hours. Soon they were running the rooter and cleared out the pipe. Water was flowing. Tim and the folks from Advanced Quality Plumbing were very knowledge, courteous and professional. I highly recommend them.

Mr Cory,
I think you are missing the point! I did not misunderstand what you told me. You made no mention of labor cost to put the part in! If you had, I would not be writing this message. I believed what you stated to me. No cost to me. If you misunderstood, that is not my fault. At no time did you mention any cost. You failed to mention your labor cost. As man of your word, you made the mistake and you should honor your word!! As business person, I would! $250 should not cause you to loose a customer and their referrals, especially when the customer is not at fault.
thank you,
Mr Redmond

I had a major water line break hidden under ground so nothing appeared on the grass or sidewalk. It was shocking to know I was losing 700 gallons a day of water, after calling the water company to check a large water bill.
Advance Quality was called on a Saturday and came on Saturday; they assured me they would help and meant it.
The owner Kory fully understood my stress facing a huge water bill and immediately came over with two of his employees and determined the problem. I had more then one leak area. The price they charged was actually lower then any other company.
I couldn't believe how kind they were to someone who is older with heath issues to replace the waterline and make sure to clean everything up so I would not have the stress of a major clean up. Gold stars to Kory, Keith, Brandon, Tim, William, Micheal and Robert. They believe in old fashioned customer service and I will definitely be their client every time I need plumbing work.

After a nightmare of an experience by another plumbing company our backed up kitchen sink and leaky pipes were still clogged and leaking. We called Robert from Advanced Quality Plumbing and he sent two expert plumbers. Tim and his friend came in and were able to diagnose and fix the issue seamlessly. They also corrected the mess the previous company had left. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was working correctly before they left and showed us exactly what to do Incase of a water leak/backup emergency.
Extremely impressed and highly recommend them!!!

My son bought a condo last year which came with a home warranty policy for a year. He had some plumbing issues and plumber after plumber came out and everyone had a different diagnosis. One plumber did change a cartridge but this did not fix a leak and low water pressure.
I went on Yelp and settled on Advanced Quality Plumbing who told us we needed a new valve, which is what we were suspecting all along. I think that the plumbers that work for the warranty companies get paid so little from the warranty jobs that they only want to do the easy jobs and prefer not to take on the challenges.
I spoke to Kory, the owner of Advanced Quality and he assured me that a seasoned plumber would be out to do the valve job.
Kory himself came out on the appointment day and did the job quickly and efficiently and sent us photos of the pipes within the wall. The water pressure has been restored!
Two days later my son called me to say that water was leaking out of a pipe in the communal garage and he was scared it was a pipe leaking in the wall of his condo. Another contractor had also been doing plumbing work in the same building at the time Kory changed the valve.
I was apprehensive about calling Kory as it was midnight, but I did, and he was sleepy but gracious. He drove to my son's condo and verified that the new valve was not the source of the leak.
I think that that's going above and beyond and we say thanks very much to Kory and Advanced Quality Plumbing.
