The other company that I called earlier this week was disappointing, failed to fix the problem and the quote that they gave was outrageous. As I have stated on previous e-mails the problem I had was a leaky shower faucet and the removal of the shower handle knob. I was not home when they arrived and when they left. My wife gave me this information. There were two tech/plumbers that came to my house. They did not have shoe covers, so my wife had to provide them with each shoe covers. The only item they brought was a screwdriver held in one of the technician's pocket. They attempted to remove the handle knob with only a screwdriver. (Really!) I could go on explaining their futile attempt removing it. After which they concluded that the only way to service our problem is to knock out the drywall behind the shower of which was the actual bedroom wall. They were asking for over $475 for that service. And they will leave the wall with a hole. My wife told them to leave. That's when she called your company.
Today, your technician came to our house on G-----ly Street. I wasn't home when he arrived. My wife allowed him inside our home. He was actually earlier than the time period between the hours of 12:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. of which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. I arrived in time to see what he was doing. He had all his tools in a carrying case and he was wearing his own shoe covers! My wife was happy to see that. He explained in detail what he was doing and the parts that he will be replacing. He did have a difficult time removing the shower knob due to hard water deposit. But in the end, he was able to fix the problem. And to top it off, since this was our first service call from your company, we were given a percentage off!

Today was our first time using Advanced Plumbing, and I must say, we couldn't be happier with the service!
We had a pretty substantial leak in our hot water pipe just above the hot water heater and called and were able to get an appointment same day.
Now my husband and I are pretty leery of plumbers, mostly because you hear all of the horror stories about people being charged ridiculous amounts of money for things that never got fixed or didn't need to be fixed.
Ryan was the plumber that came out and we were pleasantly surprised. He was quick, got right to the point and was very personable!
Ryan and Advanced Plumbing are definitely on our recommendation list!

My aunt has been a Bakersfield home owner for more than 40 years. Her home has had very major to minor plumbing issues over the years and she would not think of calling anyone but Advanced Plumbing. She trusts Advance Plumbing personnel to get the job done, and the staff is very pleasant to work with. I have been using Advance Plumbing for years and I can honestly say they have been there for me and my business when it counted most. As an example, I am in the restaurant business and our busiest days of the year are Valentine's Day and Mother's Day...both on Sundays this year. We had just installed a new piece of equipment and on both of these incredibly busy days the new equipment went down...go figure!! But a quick call to Advance and we had someone there quickly to swap out equipment to get us going again before we opened for business.

Their staff is always professional and friendly. Whether finding a leak in a wall, replacing piping, fixtures or a water heater, they always get the job done in a timely manner and with a smile on their face!! I know I can count on Jim and his employees...they rock!!!

I so badly wanted to give this company 5 Stars but....I called on Wednesday to set an appointment for Friday so I could take the day off and get my plumbing fixed. I was told that they would come by between 8-9am. I gave them my phone number so they could call me in case they were running late. I waited...and waited...and waited but they never showed up, never called...NOTHING!! Luckily a friend of mine had a contact with another plumbing company so I called them and they were at my house within an hour. Advanced Plumbing is right around the corner from my house so I wanted their service to work for me for future business but I won't waste my breath or time calling them for anything else in the future. They must be doing really well to not want to add more revenues to their books. Good luck with future business and I hope you don't treat other customers the same way.

I heard good reviews about this company. When I went to call to have them come out to give me an estimate they wanted to charge me $30. I asked them if I hired them if the $30 would then be applied to my balance and they said no. They said the $30 is to pay for their gas to drive to my house that is located in Bakersfield to give me an estimate. You just lost a potential customer because I am not paying you $30 just to have you drive to my house. If I chose not to use your company I would understand paying the $30 but to tell me that you would not apply that to my bill is a bad decision on your part. There are a lot of other plumbing companies in town.

Living in an older home with original plumbing, we have had more than a few occasions to require plumbing services. Out of the several companies we've tried, we have had the most success with Advanced.

We most recently (11/02) had a severe back-up in the kitchen sink, and nothing we tried ourselves would clear it. We called Advanced, and Sabir came out the same day, toward the beginning of the 2 hour window we were told to expect him. He was professional but very friendly, informative, and got the job done and trouble cleared up quickly. (Just sorry he had to work in the rain, even though he said he didn't mind!)

A plumbing company that's on time, finishes the job efficiently, and have good attitudes...? I'll be recommending them to friends and family who need a good service.

Highly recommended!! My husband and I called out advanced plumbing for the first time. They were prompt, and very professional. The men that came out were very friendly and knowledgeable. My problem was fixed very quickly with no hassle. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends and they will be our go to should we have any issues in the future.
