Having Advanced Plumbing complete my whole house plumbing (the plumbing in the concreate was not done by them) has been an on-going nightmare and a major source of stress. The original job was done so poorly that even with attempts to correct the work, much of the remaining plumbing remained a mess. Bruce initially told me my plumbing was going to be around $8,500, I was charged $13,400. I paid as if I had hired a journeyman plumber. I paid for the highest skilled work and I got poorly unskilled work. The workers were left unsupervised. Based on my experience, Advanced Plumbing had little to no knowledge for national codes. The morning after they said they were mostly finished (after I paid them the $13,400) I awoke to our main floor flooded and two obvious leaks in the plumbing. After paying I seriously questioned the amount. Bruce told me they are very expensive because of the quality of their work, and warranting their work. Based on my experience they got the expensive part, but not the part of quality nor the commitment to ""all"" their work. There was a long list of problems. Besides the leaks; the tubs and tub walls were not even close to matching up, the upstairs shower head was at 66 inches I'm 74 inches tall to name a few. A month, and then several months later I found two more leaks (fortunately the sheetrock hadn't been installed at that time otherwise I never would have caught it. After Advanced Plumbing came out several times to correct the work, Bruce told me that from now on I'd have to pay them again for any further corrections. Not being a plumber myself nor did I have any experience in plumbing I didn't know what to expect. I pointed out the obvious problems. Though, there were so many that even when they did come out a number of the obvious were not corrected, besides the many that I was too untrained in plumbing to be aware of. There was six feet of downstairs plumbing in the laundry room where the plumbing was outside the wall preventing me from sheet rocking the area. I hired a different plumber to clean up and condense their work reducing the area that I wouldn't sheetrock. The vent in the upstairs was half an inch outside my 2 x 6 interior wall and it took me six hours to correct. In the main floor for every hole drilled and used for plumbing there was one or two extra holes left empty. Tradesmen from other professions working on my house commented on the very poor plumbing. Our cabinet installer had to correct the plumbing in our main floor kitchen and the main floor bathroom. See pictures. The cabinet installer said that the kitchen drain created an ""S-trap"" which he explained would allow gases from the septic tank to escape into the house. He also said the water lines were too high and outside the wall ran at a downward slope which would have caused him to make large holes in the back of the sink cabinet. Besides this the cabinet installer pointed out the several large cuts (not holes) in my 2 x 6 exterior wall (3 inches deep and 5 plus inches in height) in the kitchen wall which he explained compromised the strength of my exterior wall. Afterwards I showed an experienced plumber the photo and he added to the concerns the height of the vent piping. This plumber said nothing in that photo was to national code. After the cabinet installer pointed out the problems in the kitchen, I sent Bruce a photo and he said ""he didn't see anything wrong"" in the photo, which is very concerning. The cabinet installer corrected the plumbing as best he could. He had to cut out the sheetrock. Next the cabinet installer had to correct the main floor bathroom. The Advanced crew told me they couldn't put my bathroom sink drain altogether inside the wall - so instead the drain protruded in a corner outside the wall where the cabinet would go (see picture). They cabinet installer made it work, by redoing the plumbing and putting the drain inside the 2 x 6 wall as it should have been done in the first place. The cabinet installer also pointed out that the pipe to the vent was pointed the wrong direction. The cabinet installer corrected both problems, cutting out a considerable amount of sheetrock on both the bathroom wall and the opposite wall in the laundry room. The cabinet installer was dismayed at not only the plumbing he corrected but also what he could see of the rest of the plumbing. Maybe Advanced Plumbing will attempt to minimize the problems I've had, but I would point to the pictures of the main floor kitchen and bathroom plumbing that the cabinet installer corrected. Those pictures were taken after Bruce said they were done making any more repairs. Also, those pictures reflect plumbing that Bruce said he didn't see anything wrong with it. Those pictures are reflective of the total job. I have many other pictures. The plumbing done by Advanced Plumbing for me has been an ongoing nightmare and a great deal of stress that has taken a toll on my health.

While going through the process of buying a home. I felt I needed a septic inspection. I had no idea how few businesses provide that service in McDonald County. I called at least ten places. I finally found found Advanced plumbing and septic systems. What a blessing. Bruce answered the phone. He informed me of everything he would be inspecting. How the process would work. He was very friendly, informative and patient. He answered all my questions with very thorough answers. For me that meant the world as I had no knowledge of septic systems. He was able to schedule me within a week on a day that I requested.
During the inspection Bruce discovered there were a lot of issues. He detailed all of them in a report that I received the next day. Where Bruce went above and beyond was when he called me the night of him doing the inspection and talked me through everything he found. The information was priceless. I had a lot of questions after talking to my realtor and negotiating with the sellers. Bruce walked me through what a whole new system should look like and what it should entail for this home. The call was about 45 minutes long. He did all of this knowing the seller did not want to use him to put in the new system. They wanted someone who was not representing me. I was then able to make sure the company the seller hired were providing an adequate system.
It is rare these days to find someone who cares about their craft so much. Who has so much knowledge and experience. Willing to share it to make sure the customer gets everything they pay for. Bruce has been a lifesaver. I am very blessed I found him. If you need a plumber or a septic job completed, give Advanced plumbing and septic systems a call. You wont be disappointed.

After a lingering plumbing problem began sending water to our downstairs, we needed a fast response with quality work. The staff was very professional and stayed until the work was complete. I appreciate it.

These guys are AMAZING! I spoke with Bruce on the phone after price shopping for inspectors, and he won me over immediately. He explained exactly what needed to be done with my clients pending home. I won't go into detail about all of the amazing things Bruce and Ray uncovered at the home, or how long they drove to get there... But I will say that I plan on selling my clients on their expertise and loyalty to their customers forever. They're worth the milage, heck I'll pay it! You will not regret hiring this company. 10/5 stars!

They fixed a leak under our house and then came back to get the sediment out of our lines that blew into them when the water was turned back on. These guys were awesome. I highly recommend them.

Excellent Company and crew! Excellent work! Just be aware of company job overbookings and at times overstretched which may affect your individual needs for project completion on time date! This is a small family owned company that strives for perfection from start to finish....thus the word of mouth reputation and the fact ""should you have an emergency"" they are going to get you out of a jam""! Add into the mix of fixing other ""so called area contractor"" screw ups....the demands on this company for professional, quality work is in high demand and growing in SW Missouri and NW Arkansas.
