Our water heater died. We got referrals from our property management company, a friend who's a realtor, and a friend down the street. Advanced Plumbing was the first to reply. Erik asked all the right questions and when he had the details, he offered a bid and a time... the next day. We jumped at it. Our installer, Devon, with a fellow worker helping out part time, was meticulous in protecting our carpets and walls, quite efficient in completing a very challenging situation with the tank placement, and as engaged and friendly as I could ever ask.

Originally Chuck and Erik came out to fix an outdoor faucet that had stopped working, as well as to give us a bid on a full bathroom remodel. We went with AP for the remodel. Chuck brings to the job decades of experience, diplomatic soft skills and artistic sense that is hard to come by. By the end of the project, we felt we were part of AP's family. We had special needs, which they were very sensitive with. Key thing to remember: they're a small family business. That means if someone calls in sick, they're short an essential member of the team. However, I'd prefer a delay any day of the week given that I always felt we were dealing with good people who would go the extra mile for us. For example, once Erik drove over to help us move a heavy package off the porch (the bathroom sink) and into the house. It was a Friday night, and there were plenty of other places I'm sure he wanted to be. But, he was good-humored and kind. Bravo, guys! You were amazing every inch of the way!

They couldn't even come out to help me, and STILL I felt compelled to give them a 5 star review! I had a flood worthy leak in my garage on a Friday night after hours. I left a message and the kindest woman called me back. ( I'm sorry I didn't remember your name. I think she is the scheduler, and she was kind and informative and amazing.). She knew her guys were already slammed working all night on another job, but still had her tech (Seth) call me back to talk me through and see if he could help. He was kind and amazing too! I'm so disappointed I can't use them on this job ( due to their prior commitment), and while I REALLY hope not to need a plumber again anytime soon, if I do, my first call will be to these guys!

We requested several quotes. Eric from Advance called us back on Thursday. Friday his dad came and looked at the job. We wanted the water line from the street to the house replaced. Monday Advance started our job by wearing mask, covering the floors and were very polite. More then willing to answer any questions and made great suggestions. Explained everything and what to expect. Even checked for any inside leaks. The main work was completed Monday and the inspector passed us on Tuesday. Wednesday, Eric returned himself, covered our hole and even a small side hole. What a pleasure this company is to have work done. Absolutely recomen them for any pluming job You may need done.

We bought a new (used) fridge and needed to add a water line for the ice maker in the kitchen. Since I built houses in the past, I connected with Advanced Plumbing and provided a couple of pictures of the project, including the water line in the wall (after cutting a hole in the wall etc). They responded promptly with their hourly rate and an estimate of how long it would take, booking a time for a service appointment was easy. When the plumber got here, it was a slightly more complicated situation with a tight squeeze for the water line box, but he was fast at sorting out what to do and completed the work quickly and everything looks high quality. I requested to patch the sheet rock myself and this kept the overall price very low. Very pleased with the communication and work.

I hired these guys to install a new kitchen faucet and to evaluate a situation with the bathtub flow. They were recommended to me by the property management lady. I am extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. Below are some observations:

1. They are clean, safe, friendly and easy to work with.
2. I requested ahead of time please let him remove shoes or use a shoe cover. There was no issue in complying, and he kept his work area very tidy.
3. He gave me a good understanding and insight into how to properly take care of the new faucet and what to do when the building's water gets shut off, etc.
4. They were true to their estimate, and he came back a second time to look at the bathtub situation.
5. These people are honest and very professional. They cost more than a handy man, but I appreciated getting a more specialized service.
6. They are a family owned business, and are easy to work with.
7. I recommend them.

I cannot recommend this company as I have credible concerns about their honesty, or in this case blatant dishonesty. I am currently working on my 4th full bathroom remodel and had them take a look at my current project. The estimator came back with a quote over $27,000! At first I thought it was a mistake generated on their system's end, but later confirmed with the back office it was not.

To date I've received 4 additional estimates from very reputable plumbing companies, which ranged from 6k up to 13k max.

So if you have endless amounts of money to throw away, then hire them. If not, I would steer clear from them at all cost.

Was fixing my basement toilet flapper and the main water valve got stuck. NO WATER! Couldn't get the valve unstuck and didn't want to risk busting the stem. Called Advanced, they contacted me back within 45 min. Came out about an hour after and turned it back on NO CHARGE! Other plumbers were busy and said Next Week! VERY HAPPY INDEED!

Hired these guys for a second project, they replaced the water supply valve for the main bathroom toilet. 100% pleased with their work once again. Next project already to call and get an estimate. They are our go to plumbers!
