Quick response time and arrived when expected. The job ended up involving granite work first unfortunately to fix our problem. Dave was honest and told us how we should approach the issue and did not charge us for his trouble. We will definitely keep his card for any future issues.

The one positive here is that they came faster than any other plumber - but they might as well not have come at all. We had a clogged garbage disposal that was backing up into the dishwasher. Had 8-9 am time window, came after 10. Spent a good amount of time attempting to fix the problem, only to come upstairs and say that they did not have the right equipment and we had to call another plumber. Ran out the door without another word, no recommendations, nothing. Went downstairs and our kitchen was a total mess, including dirty sewage water in a bowl that I use for food (we had given him a bucket at his request that he didn't touch). Unprofessional and completely unacceptable service. I called the office no less than 5 times, left a message, no answer. Ultimately went through the yelp app again and only after saying something there did they call me back (on the same line I had been calling over and over). The person on the phone was apologetic and didn't charge us, but we had dirty water in our kitchen for two days (not to mention the still clogged sink and dishwasher) while we frantically called all over the city to find someone else to come out. Total disaster. Not to mention that the plumber who ultimately came said that the issue was relatively easy to find and that we may not have needed the extra equipment after all.

Job was done the same day. Actually they were ready before I got home from work. Very professional and reasonably priced. I added the number to my phone book. We found a new plumber.

Confusing interaction from early on, but it seemed as if we had settled on an estimate and scheduled the service, only to be rescheduled and then get into many more questions about the work needing to be done. That ultimately led to me canceling the work with this company. I wish others better luck as it seems from other reviews it's a solid company. Not for me.

Responsive service, came out and identified the issue quickly and despite not being able to fix it then and there, told us the next steps and how to handle it. All 3 employees that came out were nice and helpful. Will call again if any new issues arise.

Advanced plumbing had the lowest price estimate, and completed the laundry hookup and wash basin job the very next day!

Quick response time through the yelp messaging interface, very prompt (a few minutes early I think), showed up wearing masks, reasonably priced. If I had to think of something negative, it's that he didn't introduce himself when he showed up and wasn't super pleasant at first. That said, he's a plumber not a politician and I didn't hire him for the small talk. :-) Bottom line, he's a professional, he knows what he's doing. I will definitely call this company again when I need a plumber in the future and I would absolutely recommend him without hesitation.

One more thing. Finding a contractor that returns calls (or messages) and is super punctual is rare. To find one that's both of those and does good work for a reasonable rate is... more than five stars imho.

I had the misfortune to call Advanced Plumbing, Heating, & Drain Cleaning, located in Philadelphia, Pa., for service. The call was received by a woman who took our contact information and an appointment was made a few days in advance. The appointment was confirmed for 4/1/2021 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. When no service truck arrived after 10:00 am, we waited until 11:00 am, and recalled the company and received a recording, and requested a return call. Four additional calls were made with no callback.

I finally made another call at 12:30 pm, and spoke to the receptionist, to find out the problem with the service call. She indicated that she called our phone number and there was no answer, and she canceled our service call. We have a caller ID and answering service and no call was placed to our home.

My complaint focuses on the unprofessional way this service call was handled at the appointment desk, and leaving us hanging without a phone call indicating the arrival time would be delayed. It seemed the calls were taken off-site at a home office, by a very unprofessional call-taker.

The company may have some very professional plumbers, but the appointment desk needs supervision and mature call takers...
