I am giving two stars vs one because the staff who answered the phone worked to get someone here same day. Unfortunately the person they sent was apparently ready to get off work. He mostly spoke to my husband even though I was the one who had been managing the situation. He wrote off what we were concerned about as nothing. When I questioned if he was sure it was nothing he shrugged several times and said ""$250 to open it up."" Gabriel said it was likely because the bathroom didn't have any ventilation that the paint was discolored and peeling. A second opinion showed that indeed our upstairs neighbor's shower has been leaking and there is extensive water damage to our ceiling and walls as a result. Maybe their other staff is good but my interaction with Gabriel was a waste of time and worse the problem went on longer as I worked to get a second opinion.

My 3 story building had a ""blind leak"" as the SF Water Dept characterized it. I called at least 5 plumbers; 3 came out to snake unsuccessfully and 2 said they don't handle blind leaks. I researched and found 2 plumbers who possessed special equipment to detect leaks. Only Advanced Plumbing came out. Although they did not use any special equipment, Nick and Gabrie'sl persistence found the plug, in fact 2 plugged drains, and sourced the location. They then determined the best spots to cut the wall to access the drain, cut the drain, clean it out, snake in 2 directions and replace the drain. Of course, I was only too happy to repair the small cuts in the plaster wall. They even worked on a Saturday. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have discovered Advanced Plumbing. Truly service oriented with results. They are my go-to plumbers now for even the smallest jobs.

Gabriel is my plumber forever.
He replaced my existing Toto toilet with Toto toilet Neorest RH.In addition, he relocated the washlet from removed toilet to another existing Toto toilet. Everything works perfect.
Gabriel is a very very good plumber and extremely nice person.
The price he quoted was very reasonable and twice less than another company quoted, He completely cleaned my two bathrooms and disposed my removed toilet without charge.
I couldn't be more happy with this company.
I had many plumbers in my life but nobody satisfied me more than Gabriel.
I can highly recommend Advanced Plumbing and Drain to everybody.

Had a number of leaks coming from my shower. Never have a had a plumber actually explain to me what he's seeing step-by-step, explaining my options (cheaper first then more expensive) allowing me to understand the trade-offs BEFORE rushing into something. Probably saved me $2K in the end from another plumber's quoted solution. Nick's got a combination of deep knowledge of plumbing issues with excellent customer service. Will definitely use again.

Got estimates from eight different plumbers because I couldn't believe the cost of the job. Quotes ranged from $350-$800. Nick quoted me $250 on the phone and Gabriel did the job for just that, same day. Sold!

Truly great. Requested emergency service for a clogged drain. Gabriel showed up on time (even a few minutes earlier). Performed the necessary service in efficient manner. Cleaned up after himself and didn't gouge on the price. Recommended and would use these guys in the future for sure.

our drains stopped working this morning; I called Advanced Plumbing and got an afternoon appointment. the plumber, Gabriel, was EARLY, efficient, explained everything to me, including estimated price, and solved the problem. next time we need a plumber, Advanced is who we'll call. I agree with the reviewer who said don't ever bother calling anyone else.

Today is the 2nd time we've used Advanced and Gabriel did an excellent job. Wore booties in the house, cleaned up well after fixing our drains, and was friendly. I definitely recommend him!
