The reviews about this company being flaky are true! Two appointments were made and both appointments were no call no show. Very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't have gone with them the second time, by my property management company set up the appointment and no one else could come out for 2 more weeks. I don't know how anyone runs a business in this manner. They don't even return the call after they no-show!

We have had work done by Don Adams and his son previously that we have been satisfied with. For some reason, they are now seem very flaky. Twice we were told we would get a call back that never happened and they did not show up for their appointment nor did we receive a call to reschedule. I would no longer recommend them.

Don and his company are totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Don said he would show at 2pm, called at 3 and said it'd be another hour. Never came. Finally got a hold of him at 6:30 and he said he'd been busy with a client that has more work for him. Said he'd show up at 10am next day. Never showed or called. I left voicemail that went unanswered. This was for a broken hvac. It was 34 degrees this am and he knows there is no heat here. Could care less. Skip this jackass and call someone who is a professional.

Don is on top and very reasonably;e priced
it is true since he is pretty busy trying to accomodate everyone at the last minute (he did for us many times) he is not the freindliest guy
He is all business
Once you know him more though, he is a really nice guy
we use him for our business and personal matters

These men are very disrespectful when they come to your home. Often not even making respectful eye contact when they speak to you. Beyond the lack of manners and professionalism they love to add things to up charge the service. Much of the repair work done in a sub standard way and has to be repaired again. Don't trust these people with your home

Dont's be so negative plumber....

I was very disappointed with the service we received from Don. He was grumpy, rude, and blamed us for the problems with the drains. (Because that's what you want in a maintenance man - someone that tries to make you feel guilty!) He complained about the work, and constantly grumbled under his breath that was ""going to be very expensive. "" He didn't seem as eager for work, and I would suggest Santa Cruz residents grant him the freedom to pursue his other hobbies, as he apparently would rather be engaged in those than actually working.

Don Adams installed our water heater and we were happy with the service. However, when our heater started leaking and we suspected it was a problem with the installation, his response was totally unprofessional. He refused to even consider that there could have been a problem with his work and he even hung up on me before I had finished speaking! In addition, he did not show up to inspect the heater as he had agreed before hanging up. We have yet to determine what exactly went wrong with our heater, and it is possible that it wasn't a problem with the installation. Nevertheless, we were very disappointed with this business's customer service!

Curt did a great job! They put down floor covers wherever they walked and cleaned up everything. Heating and A/C at a great price. He even called the next day to see how things were running. So happy to finally have a warm house.
