I find that old-fashioned ways are a thing of the past, sadly. Well, they aren't at Advanced Leak Detection, Steven, was incredibly knowledgeable.

We were at a BBQ talking about hallway floors getting warm. Someone recommended contacting ALD to see if the water heater might have a leak. We called on Sunday, and he was out on Monday evening (after hours). I really appreciate the skills and advice given. Thanks, Steven and all at Advanced Leak Detection.

One morning feeding my kids breakfast and water falls on my head from our upstairs bathroom! We had a similar leak last year and thought it was repaired so this was extra alarming that we had not found the original leak. Steve offered a number of troubleshooting tips to help isolate the leak prior to hiring him. After a couple of calls, it was an outdoor faucet that was causing the issue. Steve saved us a service call and was patient with us each step of the way. We would contact him again us we are experiencing another leak.

If you are in search of a leak detection service, look no further!!! Steve is very knowledgeable, his detection equipment and service is outstanding! I called him for an upstairs tub leak and I received a quick response from him. He was quickly able to locate the leak which had been leaking to downstairs ceiling and explained to me what needed to be done. Got referred from a friend, All the other companies I called couldn't figure out where the water was leaking from. Gave Steve a call and he said he'd be there THAT day. Sure enough I get the knock on my door and he's ready to get to work. I explained what I thought was happening and he kindly explained that it was definitely coming from under the house and showed me where. I've tried multiple different companies to try to get this fixed but they never could find it or fix it, I thought all hope was lost until Steve got it done within a day. I've never been happier with a service crew. They were fast, respectful, and kind towards me and my family. I highly recommend Steve and Advanced Leak Detection Services. My pool was leaking 1/2 inch a day and I couldn't find anyone that could come out for over three weeks. My pool cleaner recommended Steve. He was willing to come all the way out to the Napa area and came out right away. He found the leak, and helped us figure out how to plug the pipes until the repairs could be made. He came back the following week and did the repair. Steve and Paul are great guys. They were on time, polite, hard working, funny, and nice.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve Sackman, owner of Advanced Leak Detection Services this past week. I had an original water meter that was approximately 40 years old. Readings of that meter by the local water company indicated that I had a significant leak that, to me, was quite unexpected as I have been following mandated water restrictions very carefully. The meter was replaced by the water company. Steve came out to determine if, indeed, I had a big leak somewhere in my lines. His equipment is sophisticated and his technique was very thorough...he took several hours and observed every possible area that could be problematic. It was determined that I did, indeed, have a very small leak and he discovered the possible culprit. He determined that I did not, in fact, have a major leak, but he suggested a valve placement in an area that would help cordon off more of the house if future leaks ever surfaced and which would make investigation and repair much easier if such would occur. I observed closely his technique and asked many questions that he was very patient to answer. He also, as a side comment, was excellent in letting me know exactly when he would show up at my residence...I have full faith in recommending Steve Sackman to anyone trying to navigate the difficult situation of finding pesky and harmful leaks. He certainly gave me great peace of mind during this time of major drought.
