Recently purchased a home, and new to owning an AC unit. Noticed when running the air conditioner water coming out of the small pipe near the outside unit. I called the home warranty from our home purchase which has a deductible $75. Frank from Advanced Heating and Air Solutions came out after a service call within a couple of miles away. He immediately said that is normal and nothing could be done but to recycle the water and left. I didn't think he would charge for less than 5 mins. I was willing to pay for the gas but he just left and didn't say anything. The next day I receive a bill from Old Republic Home Warranty for $75 saying Frank had billed them for service. When I called Frank and asked for a lower payment he said NO. Very short and unwilling. I was hoping to have someone to call upon in case there was a need but charging $75 for nothing is just unethical.

We purchased our home in November, and upon purchase we also got a home warranty (Fidelity). One day when we were running the air conditioner wife noticed that there was water coming out of the small pvc pipe of the roof. Naturally we called the home warranty people, and started to claim. Our deductible $75. We paid the $75 and a few days later Frank from Advanced Heating and Air Solutions came out. Upon coming out my wife was very explicit and said that we had 2 problems. #1 was that that was water dripping out of the small PVC pipe/drain. #2 was the fan that blows the hot air out of the attic was rattling. Located in our master closet is easy access to the attic. After a few minutes up in the attic Frank came down and explained to my wife that his company does not work on fans and that we needed an entire new HVAC system that would cost close to $8000. He then explained to her that everything was done wrong on the HVAC unit, & not up to code. I wife explained to him that this is impossible as we just purchased a house and it went through inspection . Frank wanted nothing to do with the fan and stated that he be happy to fix it but more likely than not the insurance company would not cover it.
It took a few days to get the response from the insurance company. But he was correct insurance company denied her claim stating that they are not responsible of something was installed improperly. Knowing this we called up Aztec Home Inspections and spoke with the office staff. They were wonderful and the following day sent out the owner of the company to do thorough inspection again. The owner of the inspection company crawled up into the attic and not only stated that our system was up to code, but better than 90% of the systems that he sees out there. He did note that there was a small clog the drain and that the HVAC unit which was suspended on straps was hanging a little low on one side but easily fixed.
Naturally we called up the home warranty company, and lodged a complaint. We also called up and independent HVAC company called Airco. They sent out a technician, the drain was cleaned and he tightened up the strap lifting up the HVAC unit a few inches so as not to hang low. Cost for parts and repairs is $179.
We are in the process of trying to get some of our money is back from the home warranty company as Frank also failed to mention that the home warranty came with a free HVAC cleaning one time a year.
I normally try and limit myself to positive reviews, but when I see someone trying to take advantage like this it a bit disturbing.

We were r equired to use this company from our home warranty company Fidelity. This vendor has the slowest response time, and the technician is just in a rush to drive and leave without doing anything. They see water and think the entire system is bad, the tech is not even knowledgable enough to know how to replace a condensation pump, and thinks there is some special way to install a pump that only requires to be wired and plugged in and insert the condensation PVC pipe and connect the outgoing water line. I would not pay this company to service anything in my house ever. Its a bad decision to use them with or without your home warranty, they savage your home warranty coverage by not accurately assessing your problems, and they can't even read the work order that they are supposed to check and repair all AC units, so the technician leaves without even inspecting the other two units and we still didn't have them fixed because he lied to the home warranty. We then have had to have a reputable company come out that knows HVAC and took care of it same day, easy fix by replacing a simple pump that any good AC company has on the truck for a condensation problem service call, and service the other unit in 30 minutes and got everything back to normal. You can see why they don't have many reviews and probably only take the low hanging fruit jobs, they can't perform the work they claim they are in business for.

I do not recommend this company because they charge almost double the price.

Frank and Matt took care of our heating problem. Frank dealt with the home warranty, manufacturer and supplier to make sure we were getting the right solution and that the warranty would cover it. Had a few other companies out that weren't able to fix the problem, so glad this worked out.

It's been awhile since I spoke with a company and personnel the likes of Advanced Heating and Air Solutions. Prior to speaking with Steve I called 3 supposed local companies. With everyone of those I felt uneasy and suspicious... I provided information about the problem I was having and everyone of those companies would say what was tantamount to ""wait till we're onsite so we can take advantage of the situation'.
After calling and speaking with Steve, I mentioned what was going on, he was quick to mention things it could be. Thing is, I was looking at the system and he was mentioning the parts and details of the unit I was looking at and we were on the phone. His knowledge and expertise really resonated and made me comfortable. He really seemed to care.
To top it off his technician Dan was sent out to the residence. He did a thorough review of the heating unit and checked all the working parts diligently and found that it was just a $24 part and gave me the option to either go to HOME DEPOT and buy the part or he could do it. Amazing stuff!!!
Advanced Heating is a company you can trust to do right for you... You now don't need to go anywhere else. Stevo and his team are champions for all us who only know the ON / OFF buttons.

My home warranty company assigned Advanced Heating and Air Solutions to find the leak that was causing water damage in my bedroom closet. Frank found the leak in the furnace, and he told me that both the furnace and the central air conditioner would need to be replaced. He also claimed that they no longer manufacture furnaces that would fit into the existing space, so the furnace compartment would need to be enlarged by cutting into my closet. He started to fill out a form that he said he would be submitting to my home warranty company. I asked for a copy (the form had more than the original), but he said that he could not give me one because he would not complete it until he returned to his office. I asked to make a copy of what he had written so far, which he allowed.
When I had not heard from Frank after 10 days, I contacted the home warranty company. I was informed that Advanced Heating and Air Solutions had closed the work order and would not be providing me with the replacement appliances. I was told that Frank had notified them verbally (not in writing) that only that the furnace (not the air conditioner) needed to be replaced. Because Advanced Heating and Air Solutions refuses to replace the appliances, my home warranty company will not authorize this being done.
The owner of Advanced Heating and Air Solutions needs to realize that its responsibility is not merely identifying problems, but that it needs to solve the problem by either replacing the faulty appliances if necessary, or by making repairs if this is possible. Frank's trip to my house was a total waste of time, and I am out the $65 fee I paid.

I was skeptical when my home warranty company referred this HVAC company to me because of the previous Yelp review. I figured I will lose the $65 service fee that day. Frank arrived on time and quickly fixed our downstairs unit which was the reason why I called for service. After fixing that, he checked on the upstairs unit as well. We didn't pay anything more than the service fee and Frank was in and out in about an hour. I say give this company a chance.

I was given the name of this company from my home warranty company. They were quick to come see what the problem was... Unfortunately that is where my happiness with this company ends. When the Techs came out, they were friendly however the older man (believe his name was Frank) seemed less impressed in fixing what as wrong, since he only looked at my system for a few minutes and more of just selling me a new heating unit.
Needleless to say we ended up not having any work done with this company and I would not recommend them to any one either.

By far, the most professional service and installation. I am a contractor and highly recommend the Plumbing Doctor and Advanced Heating and Air Solutions.
