Advanced Comfort Solutions did a complete HVAC replacement for us. We had a few other quotes from local businesses, as well as one from Costco. Dave is a ""thinking man's HVAC guy""- he thoroughly checked out our house and existing HVAC components and came up with the perfect system. He could have chosen to oversell us, but didn't- we received the ideal tradeoff between energy-saving efficiency and price.

The crew that installed our system was prompt, neat, and very thorough. Wes, in particular, wasn't satisfied until everything was perfect. He has many years of HVAC experience, and his professionalism shows. To complicate matters, our neighborhood suffered from several power failures over the two day installation, and our crew found a way to keep working, sometimes using only cordless tools, or doing tasks that didn't require lighting in the attic. We love our new system- quiet, cool, and efficient. Oh, and the wifi connected thermostat is awesome!

Dave and Liz educated us and we had a completely new HVAC from Carrier installed in February....very very happy! We are even going back now for a whole house fan which Dave had educated me on as an option so that, at night, we can circulate outside cool air through the house. I should have been smart enough to do this in February, but knew that Dave would be there for me when I came around to its benefit. Considering solar system now and wished they can do that also. But at this time, best I can do is acknowledge their good team and work and pass on to my friends and family.

Dave and his staff literally saved my life. I live in a 2-year old home and my Carrier unit died. I called the builder, the company who installed it and my insurance company. I was told someone could be here from Aliso Air in 19 days ""to run diagnostics"" in the middle of a heat wave! I started going through YELP unsuccessfully and then I found Advanced Comfort Solutions on the Carrier website. When I explained my healthcare issues, Dave came out and had the system up and running within the hour. They came back to completely go through the system and make all final repairs when their schedule allowed and they did an OUTSTANDING job. If you want it done right, call them!

Advanced Comfort Solutions recently replaced the ducting and HVAC system for the upstairs of our house. Dave and his team were great to work with. Compared to most of the other quotes we got, Dave put a lot more time and thought into making sure we had exactly the right system. I had a lot of questions (probably an annoying number), and he thoroughly answered all of them. The crew that did the work were friendly and professional, and they did a great job on the installation. We've had a few follow-up questions since the work was done, and they've all been addressed quickly and completely.

Their price was close to the lowest of the estimates we got (not the rock bottom, but in the lower tier). All of the other low-priced providers wanted to cut corners like not pulling permits, but ACS did things by the book at a very competitive price. They also handled a couple of unanticipated issues without charging more, which was totally unexpected and much appreciated.

It's frustratingly hard to find good people to do work on your house. I'm thrilled with the work that Advanced Comfort Solutions did, and I will not hesitate to call them next time I need HVAC work done.

Whole house fans are a leap of faith, but worth the gamble. For the energy usage of a couple of ceiling fans, you get a breeze of cool air (like a river of air) pulling through the house. How did I live without this my whole life?

Super quiet too. On low u can barely hear it standing next to it. Don't let a concern of noise or vibration deter you.

The owners are great. The crew was fantastic. They're just a local mom & pop business that provides a wonderful and personal experience. Pay the installation fee and don't lift a finger. And know it's done right.

Concerned about the constant running of the Air Conditioner, I called Advanced Comfort Solutions to inquire about installing a Whole House or a Gable Fan to cool the attic down and let the heat in the house disperse. My good fortune came with Ms. Winnie Aung who patiently explained the function of each Quiet Cool fan and their purpose. She tp;d me that they were very quiet and would take the strain off of the Air Conditioner. We scheduled an appointment and the Service TEAM arrived with the fans and immediately covered the carpet to prevent attic dust from falling on it . Jason went into the attic (It was roasting) and took out an inoperable fan that did not run and started on the wiring. Dave removed my self installed airplane motor that shook the house went ignited and put it in my garage of antiques and junk that I am waiting on the pickers to come and purchase at high prices. Bruce made an opening in the wall to place the controls next to the Air Thermostat. Working like a well oiled machine the installation was completed before I knew it and Dave briefed me on the controls and how to use them. Billed payed and the fans are running perfectly.
I will admit that I was apprehensive about the sound and then Dave turned them on and you can barely hear them running. What a contrasted to the 747 at full throttle trying to lift my roof and only achieving deafening noise. The house is now cool and the air conditioner is getting a rest except in the heat of the day.
We couldn't be happier with the service and the Quiet Cool Fans.

We had a great experience with ACS installing our whole house fan. I wish we installed this fan years ago, it is so wonderful. The house is so cool now without having to run the AC as often as we used to. We have not had to turn on the AC at night since the fan was installed. Our neighbor installed the same fan through a different contractor and it was a nightmare for them, everything was done wrong. Dave installed everything professionally and it works like a charm. The whole process was so easy from start to finish. It is worth every penny since you will be saving a lot of money not having to run the AC as often. I highly recommend Advanced Comfort Solutions.

He replaced our asbestos ducts, as well as our A/C condenser and furnace and we've been very pleased with the work. I've already referred Advanced Comfort Solutions to a friend who was also very happy with their service. If you have any cooling/heating/ air duct needs, call Dave....you will not be disappointed!

We had a great experience with Advanced Comfort Solutions. We just bought our first house, and with the HVAC 20+ years old, an AC compressor on the fritz, and a baby at home, we wanted it replaced before summer began. I met with several HVAC contractors, and finally came across ACS through the Energy Upgrade CA program. It was immediately clear that Dave at ACS was much more knowledgeable than the 4 other contractors I met with first. We did a complete HVAC system replacement - high efficiency furnace and AC, ducts (the old flex ones were falling apart), attic insulation, and with the CA rebate it cost the same amount as getting as the cheaper equipment from any of the other contractors (without the attic insulation). On top of that Dave was extremely flexible - making sure the job was done before we moved in... literally coming in Sat, Sun and early Monday to finish before our moving truck arrived that afternoon. Note we were crunched for time due to my planning, not his. I really can't say enough good things about Dave and ACS - they had great workmanship and are very trustworthy (especially compared to the others I met with) - and I would enthusiastically recommend them to all my friends - as well as use them again in a heartbeat.

Do not use Advanced Comfort Solutions. They were recommended by SDG&E for the Premium Efficiency Cooling Program. They put ""free"" Ecobee wireless thermostats in your office building stating that you will save money on electricity. After the thermostats are installed, Advanced Comfort Solutions charges you a huge amount of money to go out and ""fix"" the system. The claim that what they are doing is ""outside of the contract"". It is a huge rip off. We have spent more time and energy and our electric bills went up. The technician they sent out either cant get out to the property for days or does a ""no show"" and ""forgets"" to call. It is the WORST. Do no be scammed by this program.
