This company is ABSOLUTELY terrible and has an argumentative account representative. I had a gas dryer installed and delivered by Lowes. After they installed it I noticed a gas smell coming from the unit. I called Lowes again and had them send out an installer to double check and they said it was fine. Still the has smell persisted. This time I went on google to find an independent gas installer to triple check the install. I called This company based on the 5 star reviews. I told them the problem and they sent out a technician. He look at it and said it was fine. Said that smell was from residual gas and after a week or two it'll go away. Three weeks later and it still was smelling like gas but worse. I then called my natural gas provider and told them the problem. They had a tech out in 10 minutes and he had a meter. Said the installation hose was not tightened correctly and that's what was causing the issue. He tightened it and the smell went away instantly. I called Advanced home services to inform them that the tech falsely led me to believe the problem was fixed and something worse could have happened bc of that. I called to simply ask for the refund of 95.00 and the rep, Tasha or something, was terrible and was yelling at me. Saying that she wouldnt refund the fee and that I called them and they are not a gas installer. I said why did you tell me that over the phone she said it's not our problem. I just hung up. Ive learned in life it's easier to not argue with a fool as it gets you upset. My warning to you is dont bother with this incompetent company. I gave them the chance to fix the issue before posting a negative review and they failed miserably. I still need a water softener and water purifier which they offer but will not even bother getting a quote from them. Two big thumbs down

They installed my new Lennox A/C right around a year ago. We bought their extended maintenance warranty and are totally dissatisfied with their service. It is June in Florida, our A/C went down 5 days ago, we called them 5 days ago and they have still not made it out to my house. They just called and pushed the appointment to tomorrow. This company is happy to take your money but they have no follow-up. Fair warning, stay away from this company.

Installed a Daikin unit for me in 2014. Daikin has a warranty. Advance is no longer a Daikin dealer. I tried for a week to set up a service call to no avail. When you call this company you speak to a scheduling person, you can not get to the owner or a supervisor. I'm not sure if ownership has changed hands but this doesn't seem to be the same people who sold and installed the unit, same name, same phone number but not at all responsive and not truthful. They said they had scheduled an appointment with my tenant but they had not. I would not recommend Advance for any service.

Sent out request here on Yelp to install a pedestal sink, Advanced Air and Heat responded relatively quick. Price estimate range was fair, so I booked an appointment. A few days later, Kurt the plumber showed up. He was professional and courteous and did an excellent job installing the sink. I appreciated that he made sure it was done correctly the first time, and didn't try to cut corners to get the job done quicker. Thank you Kurt!

Our AC stopped working on a Friday night. I called and they gave me a time for Saturday, noon-2pm. Spent the night in a hotel - too hot to stay in our home. Tech called before 10am saying he's at the house. Rushed to get there and he got right to work. Started checking obvious problem areas, eliminating possible causes. After finding the outside drain pipe (buried under mulch), he had me wait outside watching the pipe while he went inside to blow out the pipe. He had already cleaned the overflow sensor. He blew it out and all kinds of clear sludge came out. A few minutes later cool air came out of the vents!!! Awesomeness! He explained that the sensor kept shutting it off. I figured we were going to have to fork out big bucks on an AC only 12 years old, in a home we just moved into. Definitely recommended!!! THANKS! My family home in New Orleans had one HVAC company since it was built in 1953, an excellent company, 3rd generation owners. The service call by Advanced made me feel the same way I did about the New Orleans company.

ADVANCED AIR IS NO LONGER A LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS. When my conditioning went out on Friday, August 6, 2021 I called Advanced Air and Heating who I purchased my system from. I also purchased a 10 year service contract for all labor and parts. I had a prompt visit from a service technician who diagnosed a leaking evaporator coil which is located within my air handler. The technician made a good appearance, etc. The bad news was a 4 week wait for the part due to Covid 19, etc,. He also told me that I might want to consider replacing the total system due to the 4 week wait and approximated 8 1/2 years age on my system. This was late on a Friday afternoon and by that time it was too late to call anyone else Here in Florida August is a terrible time to be without AC. I made it through the weekend with the use of multiple fans, ETC . Due to having 1 1/2 years remaining on my parts and labor service contract I decided I did not want to pay around $7,000 or so for a new system. Monday morning I started an internet search for the needed part. I had very good luck when I contacted Servair of Edgewater, Fl. Within 30 minutes they located the needed part and it was installed before noon on Tuesday, the next day. Excellent service from their office staff and a very personable and qualified technician. My system is cooling better than ever. I hope it lasts another 1 1/2 years. Systems located beach side here in Florida generally last 8 to 10 years. Advanced Air and Heating while locally owned and operated was a very good customer oriented business. The story about a 4 week wait in order to sell a new system is totally unacceptable.

Company sold me a Frigidaire AC four years ago that had been discontinued due to warranty issues. . On at least four separate occasions a service person had to replace a defective evaporator coil which has Class Action suit pending. Further more, at the time Frigidaire, had advise against this unit installed in parts of the country with high humidity. The sales person should have been aware of this prior to advising me as prior to its purchase. Though I would commend Advance Air and Heat regarding promptness of service, it was not with out cost. Example... $200.00 for a ten minute leak test even though I showed the service tech. the reason for the leak.

Advanced heat and air placed my unit back in 2016 after hurricane. Since 2016 they have been reliable and solid service. I do regular maintenance on my unit and it runs solid. Charles was at my place to do check and gave me additional instructions on how to keep the unit in top performance shape. This is exactly what you want. For several years we have had Advanced Air yearly contract inspect our HVAC unit. On the last visit the tech told me that the capacitor needed attention. I asked him how much and he gave me price of $251.00. I questioned the cost and he said that is what his firm told him to charge. The capcitor TP CAP-407.5440R cost under 20 dollars. I called the company afterwards and they told me that they could give me 15% off, I replied that I would meet them half way and they said they would get back to me. As of today I have heard nothing. It took the tech less than a minute to replace the rusted capacitor. $241.00 for a $17.00 retail item is unrealistic. I would suggest that anyone being told by Advanced Air that they needed spare parts for their HVAC get a second opinion. Somehow the trust and faith in this company is gone.
